Tucked among towering trees, this unique, handcrafted cottage offers a relaxed island setting where families can slow down, spend time together, and enjoy beach days, biking, and the natural rhythm of island life.

Thoughtfully set up for comfortable family stays, the cottage features multiple living spaces, sunny decks, and generous outdoor areas where kids can play and everyone can unwind. The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and ideal for longer, unhurried stays.

The Space

Sea La Vie Savary Cottage is a private, off-grid family home powered by solar, propane, and generator backup. It offers modern comforts while embracing the realities and charm of island living.

Inside, you’ll find several indoor gathering areas and flexible sleeping arrangements, making it easy for families and multi-generational groups to spread out comfortably. Two of the bedrooms have private exterior entrances, offering added flexibility and privacy.

This is a quiet, family-oriented property, best suited for relaxed stays rather than parties or events.

Arrival & Access

A local contact will meet you on arrival to welcome you, assist with check-in, and walk you through the off-grid systems (power, propane, generator, and water). You’ll be fully oriented — no guesswork required.

Access to Savary Island is by water taxi. Guests are responsible for booking both their water taxi and an island land taxi at the same time. Detailed arrival instructions and local contacts are provided in advance to ensure a smooth experience.

Please note that trailers located at the back of the property, behind a fenced area, are reserved for family members and caretakers and are not part of the rental. Guest access is limited to the main cottage and designated outdoor spaces.

Important Things to Know

Sea La Vie Savary Cottage is designed for calm, respectful family stays that embrace the realities of Savary Island living.

Maximum occupancy: 10 guests total, including children

Guest details (full names and ages) are required prior to arrival for insurance and safety purposes

No parties, events, or unregistered visitors

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property

Seasonal fire bans must be strictly observed

Guests are asked to use power and water thoughtfully due to off-grid systems

Savary Island has limited services; guests are responsible for packing out garbage and excess food

Bikes are provided for casual use, and a general release of liability is required prior to use. Helmets are encouraged (some are available, but guests may prefer to bring their own). Children must be supervised at all times, especially around bikes, outdoor areas, and off-grid systems.

Dogs may be welcome with prior approval and must be kept on leash at all times.
