Entire suite in residential Wolseley home!
Welcome to your home away from home! This charming house is in the heart of Winnipeg in the beautiful Wolseley district, decorated with modern, prairie details with nice authentic twists. Very spacious 2nd floor and 3rd floor (a large loft space) includes a sunroom, office, open dining/kitchen area and designated exercise space complete with a treadmill!
Musicians welcome as there is a guitar for your use. Be inspired to relax or create in the peaceful plant filled sunroom!
The space
This residential home has been renovated to accommodate 2 separate families. (duplex) A character home w/ gorgeous details synonymous with Wolseley homes: wood trim windows, hard wood floors, high ceilings, 3rd floor loft space, stain glass windows and an enclosed porch in the front of the home.
This is a duplex home or essentially ONE large house where 2 separate homes are located. The upper suite floors 2 and 3 are completely private and is your home away from home!
There is a shared porch entrance, laundry in the basement and a parking pad behind the home.
One bedroom has been converted to accommodate a work/study office. While the loft space on the upper floor loft area is a versatile space that may be a mini gym, lounge area with TV and large sofa bed.
Guest access
Guests will have access to an uncovered parking spot in the back of home, a shared porch, a yard with fire pit, a play structure, 2 person wicker table for cafe or dinner!
Other things to note
The neighborhood and our street in particular is very small kid friendly. After 10pm we ask for quiet times!
Also, we ask for shoes to be taken off at the main entrance of the door before using the stairs to the main living space where hard wood floors are throughout most of the home.
