This second floor modern apartment is located above Stonewall Abbey Wellness Gym and Yoga Studio. The private entrance leads you to a beautifully lit and open one bedroom apartment that offers a full bed, full kitchen that contains a large dining table, living area with futon couch and a patio with a view. You'll enjoy cooking a meal in this open airy space ( or purchasing one to go from one of our local eateries), dining at the gorgeous wooden table or out on the deck with a view of our 'little' village. Your stay includes access to our gym and outdoor yoga and fitness classes.
We are conveniently located to hiking trails in the Shenandoah National Park, local breweries, coffee shop, distillery, wineries, and eateries.

Lovely location and well appointed apartment

The studio is beautifully furnished and clean. Unfortunately, it has several skylights without shades so it is very light in the morning and can make sleeping in difficult.

Perfect home base for exploring Sperryville

My teen rides horses nearby. We haven't explored Sperryville, so decided to stay "in town". What fun! The apartment loft is central to walking along Main Street. The loft itself is immaculately kept, with a fully-stocked kitchen. There is a designated parking space. The loft is airy and very modern. The bathroom is also modern with a rain showerhead. We really enjoyed our stay, and cannot say enough about how well-designed and well-maintained this loft is.

Clean, Serene, & Beautiful

Check in is simple for this quietly situated abode. Once we settled in we had a few questions for the hosts Susan & Gordon which they gladly answered. My wife is very picky about where we stay and this home met & exceeded her standards. From the rainfall shower to the custom kitchen table, the thought put into the presentation of this VRBO is impressive. We loved sitting out on the deck as the sun set in the mountains, enjoying the evening breeze. Everything you need is here for a quiet escape from the always connected life. If you choose though, the xbox (with games), cable and wifi are here for you. Not to mention a well equipped private gym. We truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this location to other guests. There's plenty of "farmhouse style" places elsewhere. If you're looking for something special then look no further. You've found your next vacation rental.

Bright and cheerful

Wonderfully bright and modern yet cozy apt smack in middle of town. Stone’s throw from corner store with the best blueberry muffins. Wish we could have used both the yoga studio and gym but we’ll have to come back for that! Excellently equipped kitchen if you feel like cooking all the wonderfully fresh fish and meats from the store.

A small town gem

We stayed during Thanksgiving and the apartment is fantastic. Access to the gym/yoga studio downstairs, great outdoor deck for socially distanced dining. well equipped kitchen, etc. make the Abbey Apartment a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay while in the Sperryville area! We could not have been more impressed.

October weekend in Sperryville

This is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway - just a few miles from Shenandoah National Park in a sweet village. Susan's condo is great. Beautifully designed with all the amenities. We love our morning coffee time and travel with our own coffee kit. This is the first place we've ever stayed that had better coffee brewing equipment than ours. Best toaster of all time too. Very high end, very comfortable. Highly recommend it.

Excellent accommodations

Very nice, very clean, modern, nice deck, well-equipped kitchen. Easy, short drive to Shenandoah National Park. Dining options limited in Sperryville, so plan to cook.

Perfect for a romantic getaway!

Beautiful and cute place! Fell in love the second we walked in. Lots of natural light and a nice patio. We felt super comfortable and didn’t want to leave :) My fiancé and I came here for a short romantic getaway, this place was perfect and the property managers are responsive and friendly, and there’s a yoga studio / gym / martial arts class downstairs - check it out! Close to Shenandoah entrance, highly recommend and worth the price. Will plan to come back again.

My partner, Gordon, and I own this beautiful building that houses Stonewall Abbey Yoga and Qigong sanctuary/Stonewall Abbey Wellness Fitness center. Our passions include physical fitness as well as enjoying our lovely village. We opened The 'Abbey' in 2012 offering a few Yoga classes and added Qigong, martial arts as we continued to grow. In 2018, we added the fitness center and second floor apartment. You'll love your stay with us!

Stonewall Abbey was built in 1901 as an Episcopal Church. In the early 1980s, the congregation moved to a larger space and the church sat empty. Since the 1980s, it undergone several iterations, such as a gift shop, bookstore, and an internet cafe! It has been carefully restored to its current state as a multi use space that offers our guests either a wellness experience with gym access, fitness and yoga classes or a quiet get away. You choose and we'll help you design your perfect getaway.
