Our dog couldn't easily navigate the second floor, which this is, although it's not clear from the listing. The entire place was covered in a stickiness, which made us very uncomfortable and was generally gross. We have asked for a refund as we moved out after just one night, but they would like pictures. I explained that pictures of stickiness is challenging, but here's their advice if you decide to stay here:We get it—“sticky” is tough to capture, but a few quick tips help:- Use raking light: shine your phone’s flashlight from a low angle so the residue shows as glare or streaks.- Close-ups context: take one wider photo to show location (counter, table, floor), then a close-up of the sticky area.- Show transfer: press a white tissue/paper towel on the spot and photograph the residue left on it; a short 10–20s video of the “tack” when you lift your fingers also works.- Add scale: include a coin or card in the frame.- Timestamp: keep photos/videos with automatic timestamps if possible and note which room/area each one is from.So if you stay at this place, please take their advice if you find this place to be pretty gross.
