Pine Grove Cottage - Visit Monticello, Charlottesville & Many Local Wineries

The Pine Grove Cottage is surrounded by woods in its rural location, but is just 3 miles from the Zion Crossroads Interstate 64 exit and all the retail and restaurants at that interchange. It is 22 minutes from Monticello, and there are over a dozen wineries within a 30 minute drive.

The cottage was thoroughly renovated and luxuriously furnished in mid-2020. If it looks professionally decorated, that's because it is. Everything is brand-spanking new, and beautiful.

The cottage can accommodate seven people if you include the sleeper sofa in the living room. The mattresses in the bedrooms are all Temperpaedic type mattresses, very comfortable.

You will love the patio with its gas grill and fire pit. Also, there is a 1/2 mile trail beside Oliver Creek - great for walking the dog or the kids.

Wonderful stay! Loved the fire pit every evening!Great for our dogs Bonnie Blue, who was my husband’s service dog, and Millie Grace who is on MovBonnie’litter mate, and a therapy dog, she belongs to My Daughter and Son in law! This was the perfect place to stay for a winery trip to Charlottesville! It’s close to so many wineries and had everything we needed. The home is spacious and a great fit for our family of 7. It’s definitely off the beaten path and tucked into the woods, which made it feel peaceful and private.

The house was good for our family of 6 plus one dog. We stay here to be near UVA and family for concert. Had local family over and grilled burgers. The yard was great to gather and play. Trail was great for the dog walks. Small house but served its purpose for our weekend. Any issues we had were addressed immediately. Road to house is on dirt road. Over all house was clean, did have an odor of prior dog in queen room. Queen bed has a center support we had to fix after our first night. Thanks to a prior review for the tip.

The property was very scenic, and we really enjoyed taking our dogs for a walk in the woods. Home was beautifully furnished and cozy.Homeowner promptly responded to our message when the electricity went out in the area (obviously no fault of their own) and quickly let us know when it was restored.Would stay here again!

Well-maintained property, rural, and quiet neighborhood with lots of lawn for our dog to run and a trail to walk. House had everything we needed for a nice stay and was close to a venue we were visiting in the area. Owner was very responsive when texted. Nice patio and BBQ area a plus.
