The location of this property is fabulous. It is right on the edge of Gatlinburg, so if you don't want to get into the bumper-to-bumper traffic, you can get on the bypass easily. I really liked the Keurig, the hot tub, and where the property was located inside the resort. It is tucked away, and there is plenty of parking. There were some items that I wish the place had more of, such as toiletries, bowls, spoons, etc. We were there for four days, with four people, and didn't really have enough of those things. However, I am sure that the host would've provided anything I asked. We were honestly so busy having fun that we didn't worry too much about it. The hot tub was just large enough to be cozy, and the cover was easy to get on and off. I have stayed in many places where that is not the case, so I was grateful to have that option. My kids loved the bunk beds and the video games. I loved that it was pet-friendly, and our dog seemed right at home immediately. The neighborhood is quiet, and the beds are comfortable. Some of the house needs general maintenance work, just like any rental (sinks that don't drain well, faucets that are wobbly, worn-out fixtures). However, these are not deal breakers to me. We never had any emergency that required us to contact the host to fix anything.Overall, it was a good stay and a nice choice for families with dogs who want to stay in Gatlinburg but get to Pigeon Forge quickly.
