Absolutely Amazing - the most beautiful house with the most fantastic attention to detail.

We don't usually leave reviews, but felt this house and its hosts deserved one. To start, the location was perfect, an easy drive from the city and a ten-minute drive to Rhinebeck, where we found an amazing choice of independent shops, eateries, and friendly locals. The property, well, where to start? We could write pages about this place, but for the purpose of a review, this is easily the most beautiful, well-designed, and extremely well-equipped property we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we could tell that attention to detail was on point. It was immaculate. The kitchen was so well-equipped, and obviously a lot of thought has gone into self-catering - there was nothing we couldn't find. To add, the record player was a nice touch in the evenings. The bedrooms are beautiful, with great showers and baths that look over stunning views, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we will most definitely be back and next time we will be using the jacuzzi!

Best rental I’ve EVER stay at - by far

From the minute, I drove up the private road to the top of the hill and reached the house. It was obvious this place was special. The grounds are in immaculate condition, so pretty. When I reached the top of the hill and saw the house - it was simply breathtaking!!! I stayed here for four days with my family and teenagers and honestly I didn’t want to leave. The attention to detail is astonishing with everything and anything you need labeled and easy to find and nothing more you could wish for. The open plan, dining room, kitchen, living room with impossibly high ceilings, and ultra high finishes led to amazing nights in where everyone can be together all the time. The vinyl collection hit all right notes also. I forgot how much I love the sound of vinyl. So nostalgic. And the huge TV was wonderful. It even has a dedicated mudroom and dog wash for our furry son. So when we all went on a hike and came back muddy, we could enter through the back door and all clean up before walking through to the house. Clever. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather the entire time, which allowed us to spend a lot of time outside, in the hot tub and on the enormous deck utilizing the grill. The showers are also incredible, I can’t explain it. You just need to see it for yourself. And the old school standalone brass baths in each of the bedrooms looking out onto the mountains and lake are beautiful. I cannot say enough nice things about this place and could go on forever. The host couldn’t have been more polite and helpful also. We all loved the experience. I already know I’m coming back and told friends to go. This place is simply incredible.
