Pebble Beach Lake Michigamme

600’ of Lakefront with sauna, 72” flat screen, fireplace and game room. Extra room for 3 to 15 people depending on configuration.

Take in the natural beauty of the Upper Peninsula on Michigan. Pebble Beach is located right on Lake Michigamme with over 600’ of waterfront luxury. Enjoy our water activities or just take a hike to our private cabin and pond to really get away.

This property offers a minimum of 1750 sq feet of living space. Essentially this is the bottom half of our main building and you will have access to most of our non motorized areas. Included areas would be our 1800 sq’ entertainment room, kitchen, sauna, pond, trails, and fishing cabin.

We do have a couple of dogs that will be more than happy to greet you at any opportunity. However if your not dog people they have a very nice place to stay where they won’t bother you. I cannot guarantee that you won’t be bothered by other wild life. We have a family of bald eagles that dot the sky over the lake and Moose back by the pond. So you never know what the U.P. will throw your way!!

Clean, cozy, convenient!

This property and their owners were perfect for our situation! We were working in the area at an outdoor event and really needed comfortable accommodations to relax, and this place was just that! We’ll be bringing our family back asap!

Great Stay!

Lake Michigamme is one of the most beautiful around. The hosts had a great dock with electricity for recharging batteries (a nice plus not expected) and even their own launch for our boat. Christy and Curt were great hosts and the property was great for our 3 couples.

Great place, friendly and accommodating hosts

We had a large group for a bachelor party and we were unsure of exact numbers and arrival times, but they were super accommodating and flexible about the whole process. The game cabin was an awesome home base for our group of 10, and we had plenty of space and bedding for everyone.

Cool Compound on Fun Lake

This is a shared bed and breakfast style home with three distinct locations on the property, not a true 4 bed 2 bath VRBO that you have to yourself. The property is nicely tucked away down a long dirt road with a boat launch on the property with plenty of space. The three main area's are split into one large bunk room underneath the garage that has two sets of bunk beds, one twin, and one king bed but no water/bathroom at all. You have to walk outside at night to get to a bathroom, although it is not far. The second area is the main houses basement which has a bathroom, shower, sauna, and one king bed with a living room area, the kitchen is above this room and easily assessable. The third area is a party room/mancave that is attached to the garage that can be really good hang out space, however, access is limited to when the owner's are home. The owners are really nice and friendly and communicative who were welcoming.

So beautiful and relaxing!

We had such a wonderful stay at Pebble Beach! It was exactly what we needed for our vacation, a comfortable roomy place we could use as a home base while we explored the area. Kurtis and Christie were perfect hosts! I won’t lie the “men” in our group were a bit unsure of sharing the house with the owners BUT after the first breakfast they were sold! Our space was perfect, the breakfasts were outstanding and the trail ride was sooooooo fun! The guys thanked us wives repeatedly on a great lodging spot. Lastly, the dogs…. Oh Foxy and Dozer we fell head over heals in love with them.

Review

Hosts were fantastic all around. Super accommodating, incredibly generous, and laid back as can be. While it's true they were in the house with us the whole time, they did an awesome job at making a potentially awkward thing a benefit to the experience overall. When they weren't cooking for us they allowed us full run of their very well equipped home. Further, they were as hands off or involved as you wanted them to be. Plus they have amazingly sweet big ol puppies to play with if you should like, or not if it's not your thing. Will definitely be coming back next year, excited to see their planned improvements and put their extensive outdoor fun time vehicle rental service (ranging from Kayaks all the way up to Jeeps with seemingly everything in between) to good use.
