Fern Rock Mountain Retreat
Set on 16 private acres in the mountains, Fern Rock offers a rare combination of space, privacy, and flexibility for groups.
This listing includes access to the full property—Fern Rock Lodge, Fox Den, and Fawn Hideaway—accommodating up to 14 guests across three separate spaces. It’s an ideal setup for families, friend groups, or retreats who want to stay together while still having room to spread out.
Spend your days exploring the property, relaxing outdoors, or heading into Hot Springs, then gather in the evenings for meals, conversation, and time together.
The Lodge – Main Gathering Space
At 2,200 sq ft, Fern Rock Lodge is the centerpiece of the property, offering four private bedrooms and spacious common areas for your group.
The main floor features an open living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space for shared meals, and multiple areas to relax. A wraparound porch and the screened treetop porch provide additional space to dine, unwind, and take in the mountain views.
Fox Den – Private Cabin with Hot Tub
Located just steps from the lodge, Fox Den is a 390 sq ft one-bedroom cabin designed for a more private, self-contained stay.
It includes a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area, and a private deck with a hot tub. A nearby fire pit makes it a great spot for quieter evenings or a separate space within the larger property.
Fawn Hideaway – Additional Guest Space
Fawn Hideaway is a 160 sq ft one-room cabin near Fox Den, featuring a queen bed and mini-fridge.
It works well as additional sleeping space and shares kitchen and bathroom access with Fox Den, making it a natural extension of that cabin.
Outdoor Spaces
The property is designed to make the most of its natural setting:
Walking trails across 16 acres
Spring-fed pond
Hammocks and outdoor games
Fire pit and gathering areas
Mountain views from porches and decks
The screened treetop porch and “The Perch” deck offer elevated views and a peaceful place to relax, dine, or spend time together.
Location
Fern Rock is tucked into a quiet mountain setting off Highway 209 (The Rattler), about 30 minutes from Hot Springs.
The seclusion is part of the experience, so we recommend bringing supplies with you before arriving.
4WD or AWD is recommended due to steep driveways, especially in poor weather.
Good Fit For:
Well-suited for large families, friend groups, or small retreats looking for space, privacy, and time together in a natural setting.
