Our journey to this beautiful coastline began in New York. 27 years ago, we decided to trade the fast-paced energy of the Northeast for the salt air of Florida—and we haven't looked back for a single second.

Even after nearly three decades of calling the Sunshine State home, we often tell our guests that we still feel like we’re on a "working vacation." There is an enduring magic to the Florida coastal lifestyle that never wears off. Whether it’s the way the Atlantic horizon turns gold in the morning or the sound of breeze through the palms, we still wake up feeling incredibly lucky to be here. We’ve spent 27 years exploring every hidden beach and scenic trail, and we love bringing that local expertise to our role as hosts.

When we aren’t busy ensuring our property is in top-tier, modern shape, you can almost always find us staying active. We are avid pickleball players—a sport we love for its energy and the community it creates. Beyond the courts, we are passionate about exploring the coast on our bikes, navigating the scenic paths that define this area. Of course, no day is complete without a long walk along the shoreline right outside our door. For us, the beach isn’t just a view; it’s our favorite place to recharge.

When we were looking for the perfect coastal location, Vilano Beach stood out as a true hidden gem. It offers a rare "best of both worlds" experience: you get the quiet, laid-back atmosphere of a residential beach community, yet you are only a five-minute drive across the scenic Usina Bridge from the historic charm of downtown St. Augustine. We fell in love with the fact that we could enjoy a peaceful sunrise on our private deck, then be walking the cobblestone streets of the nation’s oldest city by lunchtime.
