Lake Chelan views and beautiful peaceful setting with views from every window!

Beautiful views from every window, we own 22 acres in the middle of a working Apple orchard of 350 acres. We have four friendly horses, one dog and two cats and four chickens! We are located right between Chelan and Manson 10 minutes to town. We are also close to Echo ridge trails open year around for hiking, horseback riding and all winter sports. There are also many award-winning wineries within a 5-10 minute drive! It’s a great location with room for your toys to park, boats, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, horse trailers whatever you fancy!
We are about 10-15 minutes away from public access boat launch/ public swim parks in Chelan and Manson. Echo Ridge Trail system is maybe a ten-minute drive for hiking, picnics, exploring! We are in between Chelan and Manson equally so you have a variety of choices for dinner or stay home like it’s your home with a kitchen that is completely stocked with utensils to make whatever your heart's desire! BBQ on the deck with a table for six and extra seating. 12 Tribes in Manson is about ten to 15 minutes to Manson with a great music venue, entertainment, and gambling! We have beach towels, floats and for winter sleds. There is a puzzle table, games, cards and beautiful places to walk or hike close by and on our 22 acres.

Great vacation

We do a yearly trip the Chelan and this was our first time staying at this location. Absolutely fabulous is all I can say about this stay. Great hosts, clean property, wonder views and a quick drive to everything’s. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful! Quiet, friendly area with cherry orchard!

Such a great home base for exploring the area. The clean, comfortable space (with AC) was perfect after the 90-100 degree weather, and days spent on the lake, wine-tasting, and ice cream-eating! Added bonus—the hosts are super friendly, 2 cute dogs, 3 horses and the best cherries ever on the property! Will definitely come back!

Great memories

We had an amazing time at this place. The animals on the property were friendly and kept the kids occupied while we were there. The owners were amazing and very patient with our 6 year old twins. Lots of fun things to do that are very close to the property. We’re already planning our next trip to Chelan to stay here!

Orchards and views

It was a beautiful place with view of lake. Very much enjoyed Ashton (dog) and Romeo (cat) visits and watching the horses and chickens on the property. Owners Laura and Jerry very helpful with any issues highly recommended unless you cannot do stairs !!

Beautiful vista Mt retreat

Perfect for our family trip to xc ski nearby at Echo Ridge. The host was so kind and friendly, and even found sleds for our boys to enjoy the beautiful farm land. At times, there may be a guest downstairs, so know that it is not a stand-alone apartment.

Relaxing not touristy

We mostly relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was a bit smokey so we couldn't see the lake until the last day. Boat and jet ski rentals, parasailing and wineries are all very close to the ranch.

Beautiful property with stunning views in all directions. Adequately stocked and super clean. Hosts were very kind, warm and welcoming. We loved meeting all the pets and animals on the farm as well! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Chelan/Manson.

Long weekend getaway

Laura and her husband were very friendly. They were accommodating to our checkin and checkout hours. The property photos don’t do it justice. The condo is very well decorated, had all the amenities, and spacious enough for 6 of us. Parking is great, we brought along a 23ft boat and had ample room to park. I would definitely stay here again!

Family Reunion

We have family that lives just up the road and needed some extra beds for a big family new years get together. It was in the perfect location, beautiful, and spacious. We appreciated all the kitchen amenities and the heated bathroom floors. Watching the animals and mountains was pastoral and peaceful. Thank you!

Perfect spot for a long weekend

Our stay was exactly as we hoped and expected. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to cook, BBQ, and spend time on the deck all while enjoying the view of the lake. When we went into town it was convenient for Chelan, Manson, or any of the nearby wineries. Check-in was easy and Laura was available whenever we needed. Thank you for everything! We will for sure be back!

Wonderful experience

We just loved the property - great views and the kids adored the owner’s dog and visiting the horses! It was a perfect setup for our family of 6. It was magical sitting out on the deck viewing the stars and watching the meteor shower! The property was ever so much more personal and appealing than a cookie-cutter condo. The owner, Laurie was great and made sure we were comfortable and happy.

Cowboy elegance

Gorgeous views, extremely comfortable home. The views are like Tuscany, beautiful fields, orchards and the lake below. Laura is so friendly and helpful. The only down side is that because it’s so rural it takes about twenty minutes to get to Manson. This place would be great for anyone who appreciates the quiet and it also has plenty of room and games for families.

Wonderful trip

This is the second summer we have stayed here. The size is perfect for our family of six. The rooms are nicely furnished and decorated with a horse motif is fun and perfect for this small farm. Our grandkids (ages 11 and 13) are in love with the owner’s dog Ashton and his young friend Yeti. The property itself is gorgeous - with a wonderful view of the lake. The owners are friendly and responsive. We will be back again next year.

So very charming!

I booked this place because of its location (close to family in Chelan) and the fact that it has EV charging (Chelan still doesn’t have a level 3 charger in town). The photos don’t really do this place justice. You can watch the horses from the windows or the deck, and the interior is all very horse-themed which is cute. I’m not sure if the space is new or recently renovated, but it was all very nice and comfortable. Also the owners were responsive and friendly. Highly recommended!

Fabulous!

This quiet place nestled in the orchards was perfect for us (6 persons). The house is beautiful, was super clean and we had all the comforts of home. We loved how the house is decorated. Our hosts Laura and Jerry were super kind and helpful and we enjoyed chatting with them. Our son loved playing with the dogs, meeting the horses and exploring the ranch with grandpa. The views in all directions are amazing. We got to see a spectacular rainbow and some stunning sunsets, and enjoyed sitting outside. The Slidewaters park and boats to Stehekin are only a short drive away and are both highly recommended! We had a fabulous time here and I definitely recommend to families and anyone visiting the area.

Chelan from a higher view

The property was beautiful. The photos do not do it justice. The hosts use to live in the property before building a beautiful home next to it. That said, it's appointed beautifully with all the amenities and comforts of home. The hosts and pets are a pleasure to spend time with. Horses are beautiful and fun to watch and feeding kitchen scraps to the chickens is also fun to watch, expecially if you have kids with you. All in all we had a wonderful time. A perfect winter getaway!

We were looking for a winter vacation with no crowds - and this was perfect! The house was clearly well thought out - had all the necessary (and more) amenities in the kitchen, the living room and bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and the decor was just the right level of humor and warmth. Being in the middle of snow covered orchards, just mins from Chelan, gave us plenty to do each day - a brief hike up the mountain rewards you with some stunning 360 views, which you could also choose to enjoy right from the deck of the house! The kids loved getting to know the dogs (Ashton is the gentlest dog I have ever met!), and the horses. Laura and family were great hosts too - they were very easy to reach and responsive - and made us feel right at home! Howling Coyote Ranch is definitely on my list of places to visit again in the future!

Best location for private getaway in Chelan !

When we first came across this on Vrbo, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Laura is the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The house is just perfect! Clean and nice kept house , huge kitchen that contains everything one needs. Horses and ranch animals were a great experience as for the kids and for ourselves too. We definitely will be coming back ! God bless America and Laura and her family!

Great stay

The property is beautiful and clean and has great amenities for the summer. The view of the lake is beautiful as well, and it’s cool to see horses on the property! Beach towels, shower supplies, kitchen supplies etc, everything is stocked, and the ranch and horse theme is super novel. There were only a few minor things that got in the way - like difficulty contacting the property manager - who was really friendly, but you could only check in or contact her about issues through phone call, and she was difficult to get ahold of. They also have 2 adorable dogs and 2 cats who sometimes come up to the front porch, which is very cute but not the best for our allergic family members and kids afraid of dogs like we had. Other than that we would consider staying again!

Hi Cathryn, thank you for your review, Im sorry I was hard for you to get a hold of, I think I may have been at work. I hope the kids were a little less afraid of the dogs when they left, Ashton has been known to build confidence in fearful ones so much that they want a dog! Take Care, Laura

Jerry and I have been married 41 years, we moved to Chelan from Lake Stevens Wa. In 2013.We fell in love with the small home town feeling and beautiful four season weather!
We are enjoying retirement and like to go where the sun is shining!
We have had our horses for 20 plus years and they are also enjoying their retirement also as they are all in their 20s Now just pretty pasture ornaments that are loving their people and space.

This property is magical with views from every window, you can see the lake and all the green orchards surrounding us. You will often see deer and maybe a coyote or two, Ashton our border collie/Australian Shepard will inform you! He loves to run and chase the horses as long as it’s on the outside of their fence, our rules not his!
He is very friendly and loves kids and has taught many kids to love dogs! We also have wondering cats he loves! There are also wondering chickens!
The animals are always a great source of entertainment for all!
