Full kitchen is located on the main level of the mansion which also includes a microwave and additional refrigerator space.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS...
This second floor king room offers a comfortable setting for your restful night's sleep with cozy linens, a flat screen TV, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker and private en suite full bathroom with a shower. Enjoy a table with 2 chairs just outside your room making outdoor living easy to access!

OUTDOOR LIVING...
Step out of your room to find a bright and breezy sundeck with loungers to enjoy the surrounding beauty. Down below lies a sparking, shared pool to refresh your senses on a warm summer's afternoon. Convenient off street parking is provided on a first come first serve basis although you are located just a short walk or bike ride to anything you could need within the Old Town district.

It is first come first serve and if there is not a space available upon arrival you may park on the street in front for free (do not park in a residential permit space!) until one becomes available, or even for the length of your stay.

Nice and quiet location from our experience. As other reviewers mentioned some trouble with the water pressure and temperature (hard to find anything but hot). But in general nice amenities, nice warm pool. Loved ice cold water refills. And location was 10 minutes or less walkable to some popular areas.The bed and bedroom were comfortable. Our main issues came with constant large construction noises coming through our wall we weren’t made aware of. At first we just thought it was a one day thing of cleaning or maintenance but most of the day after day the loud noises went on. Thankfully we didn’t have rest and relaxation planned during our day but it would’ve been frustrating for whoever needed the daytime to relax in the room. Or shower for that matter.Along with that, short to no notice that our water would be shut off half the day. Again for several days in a row with no explanation.

Pool area was very clean, water warm.Room was clean, but smaller than expected.Bit of a mix up at check in, was never texted saying room was ready, so we waited needlessly after a long tiring drive.Air conditioning worked well but fan in the unit would shut down completely rather than just the compressor shutting down which made it difficult to sleep with the cycling.This was the Cortez room which we had a three night stay in. We will also be posting a review for the Corona room which we occupied for 2 nights. Much larger room and excellent air conditioning.All in all an excellent stay. would not hesitate to return.

The room is small, but it’s Key West, who spends a lot of time in the room? It had everything we needed. The fresh oranges, filtered water, ice machine, and coffee makers with good choice of pods annd tea bags are a nice touch. The location is great, waking distance to most restaurants and bars. We were impressed with the whole place, the common areas were comfortable and inviting. Managers were friendly and answered any questions we had. We will be back.

Great location, easy walk to Duval Street. Spacious and well-equipped (coffee/tea and mini frig) room. Communal spaces are great for gathering. Ice machine and hot/cold filtered water available. Loved the touch of available ice buckets and water pitchers to take back to the room. Pool towels are available as well. The host was communicative and very responsive. Great stay!

The room was cute but very small — I had read the reviews and knew this before arriving. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool and mingling with other guests. The host was wonderful! We accidentally dropped one of our keys in the parking lot, and she found it and kindly put it back in our lockbox for us. Overall, we had a great stay!

This place is great! We come to KW coupla times a year so the last 13 yrs. Usually we have access to a free condo but that has ended. So we are new to “commercial lodgings”. I give this place a 9 out of 10. Room is cozy, clean, nicely furnished. The bedding was excellent! Very comfy. Location is great. Outdoor areas, pool, access to a full kitchen, ice & water machines all very nice. We will def stay at Azul again. Reason for the 9 review & not 10 was the water pressure & temp fluctuations in the shower. But not a huge deal. Stay here, you will enjoy!

The Cortez is in a great location for proximity to everything.Concierge service was very helpful in getting us set up with a golf cart for our stay and handling our luggage on our last day after check out. We got in earlier than check-in, but we were able to get checked in ahead of schedule. We were in Key West to celebrate my birthday/check the bucket list. The property manager was very sweet and had a bottle of prosecco for us in our room. We enjoyed the pool with others and the main house has a great history and decorated nicely. The rooms are nice, but a bit on the smaller side along with the bathroom. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Me and my wife come down once a year for our birthdays and anniversary (yes, they’re all in one week!). This year, we decided to try Azul and it was lovely. Very clean, the mansion was gorgeous, the other guests were respectful and kind, and the management was very quick to respond to questions and needs. Only downfall was water pressure and temperature control in the shower, but we did our best to manage it. Otherwise, highly recommended and would stay again! Thank you for a beautiful week!

Awesome stay

Love the character of the common area as well as the outdoor area. Rooms are quite small but well kept clean and modern as well as an amazing value compared to the local area. Staff was attentive with text messages as well as concerns in the room. Parking was a plus as well as amenities! I’m glad I was able to find an affordable stay in the heart of key west without spending more than thousands on a resort. Will be coming again!

Essentially Key West

A historic home, beautifully restored with a lovely pool. We stayed on the Cortez room for 3 nights and it was wonderful. It had everything we needed and was super clean. People say the room is small, but I call it quaint. We loved it. The only thing I would have loved more… and this is super picky… is a history of the home! A sign or paper when we check in talking about when it was built and who lived there.

Small room in central location

We stayed in Cortez room for 4 nights. The room was very small and cramped. There was not even room on the floor to open two suitcases. But bathroom was even worse. The shower had low water pressure and unstable temperature, sink faucet was loose and door would not close properly. The property was otherwise lovely and looked well maintained. It's a large older house with nice common spaces and a multilevel courtyard around the pool. So would recommend choosing a different room to stay and hopefully owners can make some repairs or expand adjoining rooms to make 2 larger suites. The location is very central, about 10 min walk to Duval street. mostwalked uuberuberuber/lyfconvenient.
