Discover Captain's Choice in the heart of Beaufort. This cottage is quintessential Beaufort with a wonderful blend of historic charm and updated modern amenities. Just one block from the waterfront and a short walk to downtown Beaufort. Enjoy all the dining and shopping options that Beaufort has to offer or get out and explore all that nature has to offer on the Crystal Coast.

At the house, you can unwind on the front porch and watch the world go by or enjoy the quiet privacy of dining on the back patio. Comfortably sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two bedrooms are on the first floor and one bedroom is upstairs. The upstairs bedroom is a bonus room that has twin beds, sofa, TV, and full bath, making it a great place for kids to have their own space. Up to two dogs are welcome and there is a fenced in backyard for them to have their own space too. When staying in Beaufort, your best choice is Captain’s Choice!

Amazing trip

Beaufort is a beautiful place and the house is in a great location. We were able to walk to restaurants, excursions, and cute stores in minutes. The house was clean and spacious. We will definitely stay there again.

Great Location and Beautiful Home

Everything in the gorgeous town of Beaufort was within walking distance. The home had a fine backyard, which our dog adored, and a nice deck for relaxing. The house was well appointed and had everything you would need.

Charming home and grounds in a lovely historic neighborhood. We stayed for 4 weeknights, finding every amenity we needed to prepare several meals. Our favorite activity was lounging on the porches, but we also enjoyed the short walk to the waterfront and restaurants. We also found it convenient to Atlantic Beach and Fort Macon, less than 20 min drive.

Super Stay

This house is adorable and is in a wonderful location. We walked the short walk to get coffee and have dinner but were able to eat in when we wanted thanks to the very well stocked kitchen. Even the knives were sharp ! This has to be the friendliest little town we have ever visited with beautiful old restored homes, nice shops and lots of history. We would definitely stay here again.

Beaufort is the best

We love Beaufort and the house on Ann St is a perfect location for walking just about everywhere. Even the French bakery! The house was clean and felt very much like home. The beds were comfortable and televisions were easy to use. We definitely will return.

First of multiple stays - loved it!

Delightful property - I wish we could have spent more time in the backyard - that is literally my only regret. The property was clean, spacious, well kept and questions were answered in minutes by the owner. We will be back to Beaufort, NC and will be staying on Ann Street - this property will be my first choice as I'm sure it will be for others so I'm hopeful we'll get another chance to stay there. Loved it - highly recommended!

Great experience in Beaufort!

We had a great time staying at this lovely Beaufort cottage. We were celebrating Christmas with family and loved that the property was decked out for Christmas inside and out. The location was awesome! It was just a short walk to Front Street and the local Christmas market. Wonderful experience!

Walking distance to everything downtown historic Beaufort on a very lovely street that is quiet and friendly. The upstairs bonus room was a hit with my 15 year old son and also provided a 2nd bathroom. John the host was especially accommodating

Excellent Location

Loved staying at this hidden gem in the middle of Beaufort. This quaint cottage has such great character and history. Loved the private backyard - we sat around the back porch table with our wine and beer at the end of the day and made great family memories. Would definitely stay here again!

Walkable & Wonderful

The cottage was a walkable distance to charming and historic Beaufort. We enjoyed strolling to dinner and shopping. Beaches were a short ferry ride or drive away. The cottage was well appointed for those like us who enjoy cooking. The fenced in back yard was awesome for our family’s dog. We would definitely return.

Wonderful spot in Beaufort!

Captain's Choice was perfect for our family's trip to Beaufort! The house was lovely; we loved the spacious kitchen, front porch, and private backyard for sitting in the evenings. We have 2 small kids, and this house was great for our needs! Easy walk to Front Street, and nice, quiet street Would definitely stay here again!!
