Come relax in this second floor beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo with private balcony views of the Gulf. The sparkling kitchen has everything you need: appliances, dishes, and utensils. The beautiful glass back splash adds a touch of ocean colors to bring in the vacation feeling. Two can sit at stools at the bar counter. Just past the kitchen is the dining table which seats 6 for a leisurely meal or game of cards. Sit on the couch below the stunning watercolor painting of the dunes, or lounge in the two armchairs by the windows. There is a wall-mounted flat-screen TV as well. See that “life is better at the beach” from the private balcony with lounge chairs. From the balcony, you can see the ocean past the rolling dunes. Take in the salt breezes with your morning coffee. The bedrooms are separated from the living space with a door, so everyone can sleep when they want to. The master bedroom (BR1) has a king-sized bed with TV across from windows overlooking the dunes and Gulf. The attached bathroom has a separate shower and stool so everyone can get ready at once. Enjoy the sparkling bathroom with blue and green accents and a walk-in shower. There are two full-sized beds in the second bedroom (BR2) with a large window overlooking the pool and swaying palm trees. The final bedroom has a queen-sized bed in beautiful coral-patterned bedding, TV and of course a large window! The second full bathroom has a beautiful blue bubbly back splash and a tub and shower to relax after a day in the waves and sand. Amenities include: TV, Wi-Fi, access to 2 Boardwalks to the beach and 2 Community Shared pools. Located near downtown Port Aransas, you have easy access to the golf course, shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

Loved this stay minutes away from the beach! It was an easy walk to the beach, or a quick drive when we needed to pack more gear. The property came exactly as advertised. We loved the VaKay Life Rentals we got as a bonus! Will definitely look for this property again next time we're in Port A.

Love Island Retreat!!!

Best condos in Port A with nice pools and beach access, balconies with ocean views. I’d actually stayed in this condo years ago when my cousin owned it. The updated kitchen and bathrooms are lovely.

Fall Weekend Getaway

Very close to the beach! Beautiful location!! Condo was easy to find and had everything needed for our weekend getaway. Had a small park in front that the kids liked to go play on when we returned from the beach each night. Boardwalks to the beach we’re well maintained and easy to use. It was very well lit after dark also.

Place was so nice having amenities all around. The short walk to the beach and a rinse off place was great. The overall views of the beach was so beautiful 😍. I have recommended this place to friends and family. Thank you!!!

This place was an awesome. But at first site we were iffy about it. Once inside it smelled kinda funny like someone was smoking cigarettes before we got there but we opened all the doors and when we seen the back balcony we were hooked on this place. The beach was steps away the breeze was wonder allday plus this place was spacious bedrooms were big and enough room for my grew (that says a lot). It was a great place we love it will be returning

Easy check-in and out. Pretty place with very pretty tile work in baths and a deep soaking tub in the hall bath. Good mattresses and big enough dining table for all of us.(6). A few missing kitchen items resupplied by management. Plumbing in master sink needs work as low volume and broken stopper. Cold/ hot water in kitchen backwards, so probably dishwasher only has cold water Plenty of drawers and hangers in the bedarooms. Overall very pleasant..

Good location

Love our stay. The condo is in great location with supermarket IGA, Paul’s fresh seafood market, and Beach Lodge restaurant close by. Beach Lodge restaurant has a bar and great service. The ocean view from the condo was awesome. We were able to enjoy it from the living area, balcony, and master bedroom. We can hear the ocean waves and see seagulls all day long. Check out Robert Point park where you can see dolphins. Ferry is free, and the kids enjoyed it. The waves were perfect were perfect for boogie boarding here in Port A. Must check out the beach and board walk in Corpus Christi. The pools were opened. Tennis courts are in under construction, but we still could play. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely come back. Just one thing I think the condo can improve on is to provide more shampoos, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, etc..

Short Trip to Port A

The overall location is great. Close proximity to the beach (4 min. Walk across the dunes via a wooden bridge), large pool on property with multiple depths, and 9 min drive to Marina. They also have a basketball court, pickleball, and tennis court nearby. Lots of areas for grilling. The condo has tools for grilling. Areas that it fell short: guest room toilet flush did not really work, no hair dryer in guest bathroom , no beach towels, no extra bed sheets, not enough bath towels for a 3 night stay for 6 people. There were no hooks for towels or clothing in the master bath and the blinds were not great in master bedroom. They need black out shades as an option to block the sun in AM if you want. The TV did not work for first day and WiFi was spotty throughout the stay. Definitely can’t make it a work / vacay trip. I would come back to Island Retreat, but a different unit.

Loved the facilities and the view

We enjoyed our stay. The facilities are wonderful. We made use of the grill and the pool, and appreciated the short walk to the beach, which was lovely. The kids all had a good time. We appreciated the modern appliances (and the Keurig machine!) and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The only negative was the cleanliness of the floors. After walking barefoot inside the condo, we needed to wash our feet again before going to bed. Overall, a great trip and fun family vacation.
