Set at the foot of the Alsatian vineyards and Hohlandsbourg Castle, you’ll have two lovely bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms – one of which features a sitting area – as well as a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. You’ll also enjoy a large private garden, complete with garden furniture. Bed linen and towels are provided – all you need to do is unpack your bags!
The accommodation
With a floor area of 55 m², the flat is laid out as follows:
- Bedroom 1 “Opaline”: queen-size double bed (160 cm x 200 cm), walk-in wardrobe, desk, and en-suite bathroom with shower, double washbasin and toilet.
- Bedroom 2 “Grain de Sable”: queen-size double bed (160 cm x 200 cm), en-suite bathroom with shower, double washbasin and toilet, and a lounge with four armchairs.
- Fully equipped kitchen: oven, dishwasher (with tablets provided), fridge, freezer, hob, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery, dining table for 4 guests.
Outdoors:
- Private garden of 250 m², facing north-east and furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue available during the summer months from April to October.
The neighbourhood
The flat is situated in a very quiet residential neighbourhood, close to all amenities, at the foot of the vineyards and woodland paths.
- Within 200 metres you’ll find: a post office, bakery, butcher’s, delicatessen, chemist’s, cash machine and a bar.
- 400 metres away: restaurants, an Italian delicatessen, a florist and fast-food outlets.
- Within 500 metres: an Auchan supermarket, a petrol station and a self-service car wash.
- We highly recommend: “La Casa de Gina” for its pasta and pizza, to eat in or take away, as well as “La boucherie Florentz” for its ready meals to take away.
Activities
- From the flat, you can follow a cycle route towards Colmar and the Munster Valley, as well as a walking route through the vineyards, the forest and past the castles.
- Sports activities: running, downhill mountain biking, downhill and cross-country skiing at Lac Blanc and Schnepfenried.
- In Colmar, visit the museums (Unterlinden, Toy Museum, Bartholdi Museum, etc.)
- Swimming pool, ice rink, theatre, cinema, bowling alley…
Transport
- You’ll have access to a private car park on the property, with space for a campervan. There is one parking space available, as well as a charging point for electric bikes.
- Colmar city buses (La TRACE). A timetable brochure will be provided on site.
- Basel-Mulhouse Airport is a 40-minute drive away.
- Colmar SNCF railway station is a 10-minute drive away.
