Gravenstein Getaway- Sebastopol

The Gravenstein Getaway is a perfect place for spending a long weekend with family and friends. This property has been in our family for over 50 years. Built in 1943, this newly renovated house sits on a private fenced acre surrounded by fruit trees. It’s within walking distance to town, a short drive to the beautiful vineyards of Sonoma County or the stunning beaches of Bodega Bay. This fully furnished two-bedroom, one-bath house comes with a fully equipped kitchen with everything you’ll need to make your stay enjoyable.

A hammock hangs for those lazy days of doing nothing. You can relax and dine on the spacious deck. There is a patio table and BBQ for anytime you have the desire to grill. For those trips to the beach, there's an outdoor shower to rinse off a fun day in the sand. A basketball hoop and balls are also on the property for shooting some hoops.

This is our second time to stay at Gravenstein Getaway and love it as much or even more than first time. Lisa is a great hostess. She has decorated and stocked the home with anything you might need to make your stay enjoyable. The home is located in a great area for easy access to downtown, beach, wineries, and great restaurants. Hate our month stay has come to an end but we will be back.

Peaceful retreat yet close to town!

Couldn’t have had a more perfect place for a few days! The cottage was lovely- so inviting, comfortable & thoughtfully decorated. Lisa met us & gave a quick tour/history, some local info, etc. She is super friendly & thinks of everything that would make your stay exceptional. Sebastopol is amazing- an active town w rural feel too. We’re familiar w the area just hadn’t spent significant time in S. It’s close to anything you might want to do- coast, wineries, visit quaint postage stamp towns. We’d love to return for another stay down the road!

Beautiful property!

This was our second time at Lisa’s property and it was a wonderful stay. She is a wonderful host, very responsive and so helpful when we had questions. Her property is one of our favorite vacation rentals. The house and grounds are beautiful, the environment is peaceful and is close in proximity to many amazing Sonoma County venues and locations. Our daughter asked if we could buy the property!

We stayed for five nights, very quiet and private location, easy walking access to the town of Sebastopol. The house was spotless, beautiful deck and kitchen renovation, everything we could ask for! Lisa was very friendly, gave us a few tips for places to visit in the area, a text of phone call away and responded immediately! All in all an exceptional visit, would be happy to visit again!

A True Getaway

Our family had a delightful stay at the Gravenstein Getaway on a recent visit to Sonoma County. The house is located on a private, beautifully landscaped acre, just a five-minute drive from downtown Sebastopol. The kitchen is stocked with all the cookware, appliances and utensils you’ll need to prepare meals. Lisa is a most thoughtful host and communicator. After our departure, she made special arrangements for us to pick up a few articles of clothing left behind. All in all, we had an excellent stay at the Getaway and hope to return there on a future trip to Sonoma County.

Great place to stay

House is just lovely! It is clean, well stocked for a VRBO, has a great front deck to relax and is close to everything. You can tell the owners treat this house as their house and not just a rental. I would highly recommend booking this house, it was our 2nd time staying there already and I know there will be a 3rd time!

Great location

This was a perfect spot for us to stay during a quick visit with family that lives nearby. It’s close to town with the benefit of being tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Lisa was a great host and we appreciated her attention to detail. We hope to stay here again during future visits.

Wonderful Stay

Great Sebastopol Home!

My wife, 4-year old daughter, and I stayed for the weekend to enjoy a Sonoma County getaway. Lisa was very communicative and helpful in getting us settled in. The house is clean and very comfortable with an expansive yard that gives lots of quiet and privacy. The location is tucked just a couple of minutes' drive away from downtown Sebastopol. We had everything we needed and will definitely hope to come back to stay again at our next trip!

What a gem

Only had the chance to stay two nights, but my wife, daughter and small dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gravenstein Getaway. Outstanding Rental

We had a fantastic vacation in this home away from home. Lisa has thought of everything to make your stay easy and comfortable. The well appointed kitchen had us cooking up most of our meals with ease. The house is so welcoming and comfortable. The fruit trees on the property were a wonderful addition along with the outside shower. We highly recommend this property and have already spread the word to friends and family for their upcoming trips to CA!

Amazing stay Gravenstein Getaway! The house was private, clean and just exactly what my husband and I needed for our weekend getaway. Loved the fruit trees on the property. Lisa is superb host.
