Gran Caimán - Seven Mile Beach Condo

Condominio actualizado en Cayman Reef Resort. La unidad ha sido renovada y recientemente amueblada. Pintura fresca. Nuevo baño instalado con cabina de ducha con azulejos. Nueva cama King Size. Ubicado en un hermoso complejo bien mantenido en Seven Mile Beach. Piscina y playa a pocos pasos del porche. Camine directamente desde el porche a la playa y hacia el océano para darse un baño relajante en el agua tibia o caminar por las hermosas playas de arena blanca. El resort está en el lado de la playa y está a solo 200 pies de la unidad en la arena.

Perfecto para unas pocas noches o unos meses. Ubicado frente a la carretera que conecta con la Bahía de Caymana, con tiendas, restaurantes y cines recién construidos. No es necesario un automóvil, hay mucho para caminar. El Royal Palms Bar and Grill se encuentra a 200 pies de la playa del Cayman Reef Resort. Mucho espacio para 2-4 personas que buscan días interminables al sol en la playa. El complejo es solo para propietarios e invitados. The location is great & the condo is comfortable. The pool and beach are beautiful & it’s a short walk to Camana Bay, restaurants & shopping. Great spot for a Caymans vacation!

Directions

Using the map Apple map app on my phone did not get us to the condo. The location of the unit on 7 mile beach as shown on VRBO’s listing info was not accurate, the actual location was several miles down the beach where much beach erosion had occurred. So we were disappointed however the location was convenient to Camana Bay and nice restaurants.

Great to be back!

Our first visit back since Covid. Still love Cayman Reef Resort - the location on SMB can't be beat. All our favorite restaurants - plus a couple new ones - make it easy to enjoy delicious meals with little effort. We appreciated the upgrades made to the Condo since our last visit and hope to be back again next year.

Great condo!

The condo was very clean. It contained a lot of essentials for a beach stay. Only complaint is that the remotes to the tv and satellite box didn’t work. Minor inconvenience. Overall a great place to stay.

Decent place - could use some renovations

Overall, it was an ok place. Definitely livable and it was nice and quiet at night. There was construction going on during the day as they were painting the place and replacing some of the cement walkways, so during the day it was very loud, but just bad luck on when we were there. It wasn't the cleanest place. Superficially it was clean, but really needed a deep clean. Luckily I took the first shower (before my wife) so I was able to pull the disgusting amount of hair out of the drain before my wife saw it, or we may have been looking for a new place. The bed was very stiff, but there was a mattress topper underneath the bed that made it more bearable, however, the topper had some serious stains on it (water stains I'm hoping). The unit is small, one bedroom and small bathroom and a kitchen/living room, but was plenty for our needs. The location was almost ok, there wasn't any beach directly outside of the building as promised. We had to walk about ten minutes to the other side of the tunnel before we got to nice beach sand that we could walk on and look for shells. However, the location to Camana Bay and some of good restaurants was nice. The public "bus" system is great once you figure it out. Overall, we weren't displeased, but were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness (it needs a deep cleaning) and the lack of beach access directly out from the building.

Relaxing stay

We could not have chosen a better location! Unit was clean, comfortable and well stocked kitchen. Location is within walking distance of Camana Mall, grocery, liquor and restaurants. Two properties down on beach is a walk up bar. We will definitely be back!

Best vacation ever!

This was the perfect place for us to stay on seven mile beach. The condo was a perfect size for us and we appreciated having the added benefit of a washer and dryer. The pool is a few steps outside out door and the beach a few more after that. We spent several days enjoying the beach there, met several very friendly and kind people including Jarret’s sister and new husband on their honeymoon. The Cayman Islands are beautiful and this space did it justice. Shopping and several restaurants are within blocks or just across the street. We swam with stingrays, picked up starfish, snorkeled and visited the sea turtle habitat. The condo was well set up with a pleasant atmosphere decorated with island decor. There is good snorkeling In the beautiful turquoise’s waters right from the beach on the property. Everything was clean and well cared for. We would definitely stay here again and again. It is a gem. There were also a couple of floating noodles and mats to use and beach toys at the condo as well as a good size cooler.

Vacation

The condo is dingy and dirty. The porch was dark and light not working. Arrived and did not know how to get in. The area is beautiful but not enough umbrellas on the beach. I was there at 7 AM and got umbrella ONE day of the seven.

Great condo!

Great property close to pool & with a beach view. Nice having a washer & dryer in the condo..that came in handy. Also thankful there was a memory foam mattress for the pullout couch or those would have been some uncomfortable nights of sleep for the kids. Also loved having the back door right out to the pool & beach. All in all great place to stay to enjoy the beach! Definitely will stay here again.

Cayman Reef Resorts - May 2019

Location of the resort is great overall - easy to walk to many places or grab the bus. Beach area was very nice and not congested. Unit #19 was a great spot, looking out onto the beach. Loved it - it was just steps to the beach each morning. Condo in great shape and very clean - perfect for the trip.

Cayman Reef

The location is perfect and the beach is amazing. There are tons of placed to eat within walking distance. The pool is quite large and we never had a problem finding a chair. The room was just ok. Sheets and towels were old and worn. We didn't spend much time in the room, so that was fine. We never used the kitchen, but it seemed to have everything you might need to make lunch/dinner.

Great Beach Access at Cayman Reef Resort

Excellent location within yards of great beach access. Condo with plenty of towels. New flat top for sofa bed was an excellent idea. Be sure to bring Tide pods for laundry. Grocery and restaurants easy to get to with city bus right in front of condo.

Great to be back!

I think this was year 7 of us staying in Unit 3 at Cayman Reef. We love the location, the easy walking distance to town and great restaurants - and the other guests are always friendly and fun. The unit offers everything we might need and suits us perfectly. I am sure we will be making reservations for next year quite soon!
