The atmosphere here is a blend of bohemian freedom and relaxing comfort.
You’ll always be the only guests on the property, so you can enjoy the pool and private hot tub.
Denis and Leïla have been welcoming guests since 2012 and have recently expanded the property to better accommodate you.
A Provençal house near Mollans-sur-Ouveze, nestled in the heart of nature within a green, protected area in the foothills of Mont Ventoux.
The two-story house features:
On the first floor, a 72-square-meter guesthouse for 4 people with a private entrance and courtyard.
An open-concept kitchen and dining area leading into a spacious living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 separate bathroom with a walk-in shower and a washing machine, a separate toilet, and 1 small room for storing luggage or other items.
The decor is cozy and vintage, set against a backdrop of natural stone.
The rental stays cool even during the hottest hours of summer.
The rental is attached to the owners’ home but is not overlooked by neighbors, ensuring no noise disturbances or privacy issues.
The owners have very friendly cats and dogs that are used to the presence of guests and roam freely on the property.
They do not have access to the guest accommodations and spend most of their time in the house or our garden; this is a plus if you have children but may be a drawback if you don’t like animals.
Your pet is welcome at no extra charge, provided it is neither dominant nor aggressive. We take the utmost care to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises.
The beds will be made upon your arrival with cotton linens; bath towels and linens are provided at no extra charge.
The property is lightly fenced, and you’ll find plenty of spaces for rest and relaxation.
A fire pit is available for use only in the off-season, as the property is located in a protected area.
At night, automatic lighting illuminates the property, and you can enjoy a nighttime swim in the pool, which features a powerful underwater spotlight.
The parking area can accommodate 2 cars.
You can enjoy meals outdoors in the private ground-floor courtyard or by the pool under the arbor.
A barbecue next to the parking area is available for your use.
The 8 x 4 m flat-bottomed pool (depth: 1.55 m) features a large paved deck with outdoor furniture and lounge chairs.
The owners are responsible for maintenance and reserve the right to swim occasionally, but only when you are not on the property.
We prioritize intensive filtration to minimize chlorine use.
The Nordic hot tub with LEDs, massage jets, and bubbles is wood-heated and is available for your use (please allow 2 to 3 hours for the initial heating in summer and 5 to 6 hours in winter; it is designed for 4 to 6 people.
Please allow 1 hour for the next heating during your stay in summer and 2 to 3 hours in winter.
The water will be fresh and the hot tub cleaned for each reservation. Please take a shower with soap before each use; otherwise, the water will become less pure and will not be changed until the end of your stay (Icelanders always do this before bathing…).
However, the hot tub is equipped with a pump and sand filter to ensure the water is as crystal-clear as possible.
We deliberately chose this high-end, eco-friendly model.
Please let us know if you’d like us to start heating the water before your arrival; we’ll provide very simple instructions so you can operate it yourself for the rest of your stay.
Please note that from June 15 to September 15, all accepted reservations will cover both cottages, regardless of the number of guests. (See “Double Cottage with Pool, Jacuzzi, and Spa”)
The rest of the year, for up to 4 people, you may choose either cottage, and the pool, jacuzzi, and outdoor areas will be for your exclusive use.
Mollans-sur-Ouveze, a small medieval village 4 km away, has 2 bars, several restaurants, 3 bakeries, a butcher shop, and an organic grocery store. It’s a very lively village in the summer, but like many of the surrounding villages, it isn’t made up of vacation homes and maintains a genuine community spirit year-round.
There’s a market on Saturday afternoons in Mollans; otherwise, on Tuesday mornings in Vaison, Wednesday mornings in Buis-les-Baronnies and Malaucène, and Thursday mornings in Nyons.
For your major grocery shopping, we recommend Vaison-la-Romaine,
