An idyllic setting. In the heart of the Champagne vineyards, 20 minutes from the factory outlets and 30 minutes from Troyes, come stay at “L’Atelier du Moulin,” a detached home that has retained the charm of a former artist’s studio. The renovation and decor were carried out with great taste, blending traditional materials (stone, wood, original glass roof) with trendy decorative pieces. The cottage is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, in a quiet, lush setting where a river branch (unsupervised) flows—a true haven of peace where guests can relax and recharge. For horseback riders, the owners offer horse boarding (see conditions with the owners), and for fishing enthusiasts, there is a Category 1 river on-site. On the first floor, you’ll find a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a twin bedroom (two 80x200 beds that can be arranged as a double bed), a separate toilet, and a bathroom (shower and sink). Upstairs, you’ll find a relaxation area on the mezzanine that sleeps 2 people (supplement of €20/night/person), a master suite featuring a 90x190 bed and a 160x200 bed with private bathroom facilities (toilet, large shower, sink). Outside, you’ll enjoy a terrace, patio furniture, and an open, tree-lined park surrounded by the river and the mill race. Free pétanque court. Beds are made upon your arrival; towels and linens are provided. Heating and electricity are charged separately (based on meter reading—8 kW included per day), and a wheelbarrow full of firewood for the stove is provided free of charge.
