Modern rustic decor compliments this high-end condo that is thoughtfully decorated with local artwork and vintage photographs of historic McCall. Sit by the fire and enjoy a wide selection of books and games provided. The attached balcony is perfect for an outdoor BBQ or to relax and enjoy the park-like surroundings. After spending the day exploring, slip into the luxurious oversized soaking tub in the primary suite, and then wrap yourself in the plush spa robes provided.

It was very clean and well built. We loved the washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked and had wonderful appliances. I forgot my fan that I need for the sound to sleep well and they had a small nice one in the closet. The beds and furniture were beautiful and comfortable. The big soaking tub was great. We would stay here again. It is close to everything. Beautiful FALL weather!

It's a beautiful, very comfortable condo. We had two couples and the layout is very spacious. One of the best visits to McCall we've ever had. Highly recommend Lake Getaway. We'll definitely be back to enjoy more great times in this very special place.

Compared to the many vacation rentals we’ve stayed at, this was one of the best as far as cleanliness, furnishings, and all the extras like laundry soap, spices, kitchen appliances (small and large), utensils, etc. Also providing plenty of quality paper products and trash bags for our stay. We enjoyed the gas fireplace on chilly evenings and the prime location with easy walk to shops, dining and the lake. We truly enjoyed or visit and this lovely condo was a big part of it. Thank you!

McCall Family Trip

Absolutely loved this property. It had everything and more. Great location - we loved staying close to downtown and being able to park the car and walk to just about every shop and restaurant. The bedding was great. Bedroom size is great. Our family of 3 really enjoyed staying here! We hope it is still a option when we return in 2028. High recommend this VRBO!

Weekend in McCall

What a lovely stay we had for our small family weekend in McCall. My husband and I came from Minnesota to visit his sister. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. This property is perfect for two couples. It has two lovely bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The whole place is outfitted with everything you need.

Great Place to Stay!

Great location, close to everything but still a private experience. Property is excellently maintained and furnished with everything you need. Bed was comfortable. Owners graciously left us a welcome package with Champaign, chocolate and fancy popcorn! Couldn't ask for a better experience!

Best VRBO Ever

The hubs and I had a magical time at Rick and Candice’s place. The condo was impeccable. Every detail was tended to down to the remotes for the automatic candles. The place was spotless, the living room cozy, and the beds soooo comfy. We hope to stay again!

Great location, fully stocked!

Loved our stay, the condo was cozy and well-stocked. We stayed during winter, but could totally see the potential for more fun in the summer months, too. We are excited to go back! Rick and Candace were very thoughtful in their amenities, clearly understood what renters would want and need. Felt like a home!

Fabulous All Around

So many great mentions about this stay starting from the wonderful and easy communication with Rick & Candince to the comfort and location. The owners have thought of absolutely everything and made it feel like an expensive resort/hotel rather than someone's condo.The location is perfect as it is within walking distance of everything in town. Their recommendations of the town were excellent and spot on. Comfort was top of mind in this condo with cozy beds, fresh new linens, plush towels and lovely furnishings in the living room that make you never want to leave. A

Great time and place in Mccall!

Rick and Candice have have thought about everything a guest may need while staying at their place. The entire place is nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The location of this condo is close to everything and a short walk to the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again!

Wonderful condo

The condo was beautiful, clean and in a great location. The condo was so well stocked and the owners had nice touches throughout the condo including a gift basket and by far the best visitors guide I have ever seen. They even took time to personally email us about an event happening in town during our stay. I highly recommend this condo!

Spending time in McCall is like stepping back in time. Everything slows down and there's nothing more to do than relax, enjoy and explore.

We both lead busy lives. Rick is a property manager and Candice an elementary school teacher. Over the years, we've traveled extensively, staying mostly at vacation rentals. Through our experiences, we've learned the most rewarding qualities of a vacation rental. Such as, updated well-kept furniture and appliances; plus quality bedding and linens. Most importantly, a kitchen that is well stocked with dishware, cooking utensils and sharp knives! Nothing is more frustrating than trying to cook with old, secondhand supplies.

Being history buffs, we have researched extensively the history of McCall. From its early Native American inhabitants; lumber era; to modern-day recreational resort town. Our love of McCall and its history can be easily seen throughout Lake Getaway's interior. Be sure to check out Lake Getaways "History of McCall" binder, photographs and vintage postcard collection.

Since purchasing the property in 2020, we have explored and enjoyed McCall's many beautiful surroundings. We love boating magnificent Payette Lake and paddle boarding near North Beach. Hiking and picnicking Ponderosa State Park and Upper Payette Lake. As well as skiing Brundage Mountain and soaking in the local Hot Springs in the winter. Not to forget, playing golf at the beautiful alpine courses of McCall Golf Club, Jug Mountain Ranch and Meadowcreek Golf Resort. We share our local favorites with you in our "Welcome Guide" that can be used as fabulous resource for places to eat and explore during your stay.
