Cave Creek Retreat

Rural and private one bedroom apartment above the garage of the main house.  Newly built with comfortable furnishings and great views of the Sonoran Desert. The apartment is situated on the edge of Cave Creek Recreation area and within walking distance to the many hiking/biking trails within the park.  The accommodation is fully furnished and boasts stainless appliances and a well-equipped kitchen.  Smart TV with Netflix and Wi-Fi is available.  The property is approximately 8 miles to the center of Cave Creek, 10.00 miles to Desert Ridge and 30.00 to downtown Scottsdale. Local golf courses include Rancho Manana, Dove Valley and many more.  There is a furnished walk out deck with a covered BBQ area below.

Please note that this is an upstairs apartment.

This property is marketed as single bedroom unit for 2 guests sharing the king size bed provided. In order to maintain the pristine condition presented we do not permit additional overnight guests and/or sleeping on the floor or couch.

Great quiet place!

Loved the sunrises and sunsets right from our own balcony! Cute clean place with everything you need! Excellent location to hikes, restaurants and towns! Ross was very kind offering suggestions or anything we may need!We have never stayed amongst beautiful horse ranches…very cool!

Retreat to the desert

This is a great location and apartment for a couple's get away. It's just a few miles out from Cave Creek but it feels like another world. Our host, Teresa and Russ are wonderful and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to the area.

Beautiful

This property has everything you could think of. The owners were very thoughtful from the luxurious linens to the well stocked kitchen and medicine cabinet with anything you might have forgotten. It was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated as well

Wonderful! We'll Be Back...

Russ and Teresa have created the perfect haven for a couple to escape the hustle and bustle of Phoenix and Scottsdale. After a day of activity, their guesthouse is a welcome respite, with beautiful views, quiet surroundings, and stocked with anything you might need. Very, very clean, too. We would love to stay again when in the area.

Great place & location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! This property was lovely and so well equipped, the owners have literally thought of everything. Very clean and comfortable with beautiful views. Hiking/biking trails accessible right from the property. Russ & Teresa were extraordinarily helpful in making special accommodations for us and were a pleasure to chat with. We would definitely stay here again.

Just Right

We enjoyed our stay. Having a full kitchen was great. The unit was nice sized and very quiet. Fun to watch 19 hot air balloons launch from the view windows! Close to Cave Creek and Carefree. New Sprouts grocery nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent choice in Cave Creek

You won’t be disappointed in choosing this property. The hosts were very accommodating, and the property itself is top notch. The property is very clean and tasteful furnished. Russ and Teresa have paid great attention to detail to provide all you need for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located near Cave Creek, grocery stores and Wal Mart. We will make this our first choice when planning our next trip to Cave Creek.

Quiet and Relaxing

For us, this is the best VRBO we have stayed in. This property was accurately described in the VRBO listing and for us, was perfect. This property is in a rural setting, so it is very quiet. It is also very close, walking distance, to the Cave Creek Reginal Park hiking trails. The property is very private for the guests even though the property owners are on-site and very helpful/responsive when requested. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Super cute and super clean!

The Cave Creek Retreat was just that, a treat! The place was meticulously taken care of! The owners thought of everything you could possibly need, even bottled waters in the fridge! The location was perfect for us - it was close to the horse clinic I was attending...and there is even a Sprouts and Starbucks close by. (Not to mention all the restaurants/shopping in Cave Creek.) BTW - Tonto's Bar and Grill has a great outdoor patio! At night, we were able to hike at the nearby park. We'll definitely keep this place in mind when planning our next winter break!

Fun in the sun

This place is perfect if you want to be close enough for a short drive to plenty to do or a bike ride on some of the best routes the North Valley has to offer! Accommodations are brand new and so nice it makes you want to make extra effort to treat them as well if not better than your own home. Russ and Teresa are fantastic hosts with an acute attention to detail. Russ is a wealth of information for cyclists. Will definitely be back.

We had everything we needed for our weeklong stay while visiting family in the area. Everything was very clean and as pictured on VRBO. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. There are hiking trails right near the apartment. Also, Cave Creek Regional Park, which has more trails and trail rides, is about two minutes away.We had beautiful sunrises over the mountains each morning but the one on our last morning was spectacular. Remote but still close to grocery stores and other amenities. We will definitely stay here again if it is available when visiting family.

Perfect getaway.

The apartment is very modern and spotless. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The living room and kitchen area is designed well and have beautiful views. The location is quiet but accessible to area activities. We were there to visit family and it met our needs very well. I would stay here again.

Slice of Heaven

It was our first time visiting the beautiful state of Arizona & Arizona Bike Week. Our hosts Russ & Theresa were super nice and accommodating. As was little Rosie the pup. The location was super! Right next to Maricopa Regional Park offering hiking & horseback riding through the spectacular landscape. Peaceful and Clean
