Our cozy 3b/2ba home is the perfect place for you and your family to enjoy and rest in during your stay in Waco. We are a straight shot down I-35 to downtown Waco, Magnolia (15 min), and Baylor (14 min). We are also close to BSR Cable Park (17 min) and Homestead Heritage (9 min). Our home is newly furnished, has a Roku with 60 channels, wifi, washer, dryer, and all the amenities you need.

Communication

Communicated with Belsy on Saturday morning that the shower was not draining - didn't hear from Belsy until I was sent what to do for check out Sunday morning. Was surprising since Belsy was very communicative on what was needed or required from us. Not what I am used to from Vrbo.

Not a cottage

We were expecting a cute little cottage .. we arrived to a duplex. We are a group with of girls … this was honestly terrifying when we realized who our neighbors were

Clean and simple

Simple and clean-all needs taken care of. Note was missing about WiFi and departure steps-but everything was as portrayed. Good place. Tv viewing good-basic needs provided. The Host was helpful and responded fairly quickly.

It’s a duplex

Overall, it’s not bad. This was a duplex and we didn’t see that in the description. I guess we were suppose to have caught that when it said “unit” It was clean and looks like pics. Main complaint is the “ app “ to use to check in. You have to download an app and use your phone blue tooth to open door. It was a pain and then didn’t work. They had a lock box with a key in it that we ended up using. Location is pretty run down but not terrible. I stay in homes and use VRBO OFTEN!!! I NEVER have complaints. But this was a pain to get into.wouldnt stay again.

Christmas Vacation

Our daughter cut her foot on a tack strip while putting clothes in the closet. The house is actually a duplex. when the other visitors came the day after us, we thought our vehicle was being broken into, they were so loud. They proceeded to play music all night. Our kids were in the other 2 rooms & weren’t able to sleep. Music was played loudly all night and continued throughout the morning. We left early because of the noise. I emailed the host to let her know the situation and our reasoning for leaving early & she never replied.

Love Waco… not sure how I feel about Elm Mott

The home was in good shape and had newer appliances, and it was spacious enough for our 6 to stay. However, it did not seem that they cleaned the place before our arrival. There were spiderwebs, unmade beds, and unclean showers/bathroom floors. The yard was quite overgrown, and the neighborhood was not what we expected. After we cleaned, the stay was nice.

Nice facility but sketchy neighborhood

The property inside is very nice. New appliances. Comfortable mattresses. Very clean and roomy. Trash had obviously not been picked up in a while and was overflowing. The neighborhood was okay in the daylight hours, but I wouldn't have wanted to come in or go out after dark. There are lots of dogs running loose and barking all hours and I saw an altercation between two men early in the morning hours (5 a.m.) on the street outside the property.

Nice cozy house in a very quiet part of town, but also a quick drive to attractions around Waco. We had a very pleasant stay.

Cozy with a great location

We came into town to visit Magnolia Market and were very pleased with the home. Everything was as described. It was cute and very well maintained. My only disappointment was the coffee pot wasn’t working. It wasn’t a big deal but would have been convenient. It was nice to come back to after visiting Magnolia Market.

Clean & Spacious

This property was clean, very spacious. Very family friendly. The neighborhood is quite run down but the home was in good repair. About a 10-15 min drive to Magnolia and downtown Waco. 10 minutes to Baylor.

Great location, great price!

From reservation to check out owner Josh was very communicative and professional. Unit has a very convenient location to I-35 access and lots of the sites we were there to see. Unit is clean and spacious with its 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The only downfall for us in this duplex was neighbor noise. However, if you have children of your own it may not be an issue.

Overall a good stay

Credentials for door app missing but lock box access was provided. Lock box was a little finicky after putting in the right code but got it after a couple retries both to extract key and to replace it. House was nothing fancy but it was quite functional. Two of our family found the tack strips under the carpet by walking over them. Shower curtains needed to be rehung to stay off the floor of the tub. Some pillows are ready to be changed out. Lots of hot water. Comfortable. Clean. Overall a good stay.

Nice little place.

It's a very cute older home. It's in good repair. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked. It's in an older neighborhood facing the main road, so it can be a bit noisy at times. We needed to connect directly with the owner. He was great.

In a Pinch...

I ended up needing to travel to Waco on short notice, and didn't want to stay at a motel, so I called the bluff on these cute Vrbo commericals. The house itself was okay. It was just like the website claimed, but they failed to mention that it was a duplex, next to a burned up lot with a camper that someone lived in. If you require me to pay a cleaning fee, then the home should be immaculate. It was evident, someone had been there recently, but there was dust everywhere, dead flies on the window sill, towels in the drying machine, and when I went to put the trash in the bin, it was covered with maggots. The furniture was comfy, but the bed in the main room, not so much. It worked for what I needed it for, but again, more attention needs to be paid to cleanliness.

Girls Trip

Great location and spacious. Although a iron and ironing board were not part of the amenities, they are 2 things that are definitely needed. I bought a iron and left it, so hopefully they will buy a ironing board and include them as part of their amenities. More attention needs to be focused on cleanliness. We had to sweep the hair off the bathroom floors and wipe down the refrigerator freezer and fridge area. Some of the towels were stained. Extra garbage bags were not available and the outside garbage bin was full.. The grass needed mowing. The closeness to I 35 was a plus. Has potential to be a great vacation rental. Just needs more detail to cleanliness.

Great little place

Very clean, good parking, had everything we needed for our stay. Owners stayed in communication with us, making our check in process easy. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this property, will be our go to place when we are in town.
