Wonderful Accommodations

Outstanding Lodge. Very clean and well kept. Room for group activities and quiet times. Close to many "outdoor" attractions. Beautiful surroundings. All loved our stay.

Nice getaway

Went for a 4day weekend to let the kids see snow, they enjoyed the games and pool table, and we even got a light dust of snow on our final night.

Fun cabin

We had a fun trip to the Boone area. The house had a nice room downstairs with ping pong, pool, and darts. We also enjoyed the outside fire pit and the wood delivery service was a huge help.

Weekend wedding

We had a wedding at The Mill at Rock Creek, this house was perfect! 15 min from venue and 20 minutes from Boone for other festivities. Lots of room and clean!

Lots of room

Good house for multiple families. Lots of space for adults and kids to be together or separated. Noise will travel with wood flooring.

Christmas Bucket List

Timber Lodge couldn't have been more perfect for our Christmas family get-away! It felt like a dream home away from home. All three generations enjoyed the cabin's cozy, comfortable spaces, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking all our holiday favorites. We really enjoyed the warmth of the kerosene fireplace during the bitter cold snap, too.

Nice house

The house is nice, do not expect to check I early or have a late checkout. There is no insulation between the top and bottom floors you can hear everything above you in the primary bedroom.

South of Dallas Band at The Timber Lodge

Our stay at the Timber Lodge was enjoyable and definitely a good experience! We are five musicians and we call ourselves South of Dallas Band. This was our seventh annual “Guys weekend” Band retreat and our stay at the Timber Lodge did not disappoint. Timber Lodge had plenty of room down stairs around the pool table to set up our gear for our rehearsals, jamming sessions and writing original music. Comfortable bedrooms, all bathroom amenities, movie / gaming room, kitchen/dining/living space with the gas logs provided a warm and comfortable environment. The outside amenities with both front porch and rear decks, top and bottom, landscaping around the property with a fire pit area, provided plenty of safe spaces to enjoy. Cabin is located off the beaten path on a gravel road which provided some good hiking opportunities and a peaceful atmosphere day and night. Only 15 minutes away from downtown Boone. Would definitely recommend visiting the Timber Lodge!!

Great Family Get Toegther Rental

We really enjoyed our stay in the home. It js very welcoming, organized, and clean. We have never stayed in a rental that had so many things on hand for cooking. My husband loved it! Lots of fun to be had in basement with ping pong and pool table. Loved the kids bunkbed room even though we didn't use it. Check out process is so easy. Although I remembered this morning I forgot to start dishwasher before I left, so hope they aren't too upset with me. 😁 Would definitely stay again.

Spring break family vacation

Timber Lodge is THE place to go if you want 3 generations of fun. The cabin was enjoyed by all with bunk bed room for kids pool table/ ping pong table for nightly competition, firepit for Smores, crock pot, pancake griddle. Coffee pot ,plus Keurig , gas grillprovided provided plenty of options for large family meals.

Absolutely wonderful!

We loved this beautiful cabin! It was super clean (I mean absolutely spotless!) and fully equipped with pretty much anything you might need! We loved the game room downstairs (ping pong and pool table!), and my teenagers were thrilled to have privacy…this place is really set up perfectly for families with kids/teens. So many DVDs, books, games, and the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever experienced in a rental. We grabbed groceries in Boone (about 20-25 minutes away) and cooked/ate in for most of the trip, which was so nice. The main floor bedroom and stand up shower was great from my mother who struggles with stairs, and since there is a back deck and front porch that only involved two steps, this house was perfect! I took the boys kayaking down the New River, which was absolutely amazing. If you need a secluded, relaxing place to de-stress and reconnect with your kids, you can’t go wrong with this place! The cabin has such a cozy vibe, surrounded by trees and fresh mountain air….We will definitely stay here again!

Fully stocked kitchen

Our group of friends have been to countless cabins together and we love to cook nice dinners. This cabin had the most fully stocked kitchen we’ve ever stayed in. It was so refreshing. They had every kitchen tool we needed and even had Tupperware for leftovers! We loved the pool table, ping pong, and backyard fire pit. It was the little thoughtful touches that made this stay so great. We appreciated the toiletries in the bathroom and enough towels for the whole group. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Wonderful Cabin

We stayed in this cabin with a total of two families that included 4 adults and 6 children. It was very spacious and a great layout for everyone. Cabin was clean and very well equipped with kitchen items, blankets, games...etc. It was a perfect place to relax and unwind after a full day of skiing. The downstairs game and bunk rooms were an amazing addition that were not shown in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised!! This cabin has it all and we would definitely stay again!

Peaceful retreat

Very cute cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately there is no Mountain View’s since the cabin is surrounded by trees. It rained all weekend so we didn’t go on any walks in the neighborhood but stayed inside a lot of the time. It’s 20 minutes from Boone which wasn’t ideal for us since we like to eat at local restaurants. The wifi logged on but the signal was so weak that we had to go into town to use the internet. Great stereo downstairs and we had fund playing pool.
