Encantada Arenal, is an intimate Luxury Adults Only B&B, offering only two delightfully decorated, upscale poolside suites to guest over age 21. Our rooms feature: A/C, WiFi, Hi-Speed Internet, Vaulted Ceilings, Walk-in Rain Shower, Pillow Top Bedding, Quality Linens, Plush Triple Sheeting, Pillow Selection, a Welcome Snack and more!

Our spacious Toucan Suite, has a private courtyard entrance and a luxurious Queen Bed. Remote Paradise!

The property was lovely and the host and property manager were very communicative and friendly. The area where the property is located is very near Arenal Volcano Reserve, the town of El Castillo and other adventure parks. We would stay at the Encantada Arenal if in the area again!

Couldn’t have chosen a better place! The views were amazing and the property was absolutely fantastic. The walk down to the creek is so serene. The breakfast was SOOOO good and made worrying about food in the morning effortless. Super communicative and accompanying hosts. Would give a 10/10 if it was an option!

Wonderful Escape

Gorgeous property, quiet paradise in the jungle. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the surrounding gardens. Only thing we’d change is a king size bed.

Incredible spot!!! The views are stunning, the rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, the service was lovely. We stopped here for a few days on our honeymoon and they gave us complimentary wine and chocolate. They really thought of everything down to designated makeup towels, bath robes and slippers, extra toiletries, and binoculars for bird watching. Can’t recommend enough.

The property was beautiful, relaxing in the forest in style is what it felt like. The room was decorated in a classy way. Walkways into the rain forest around the property were great. The hosts, Nita and Marty were exceptional and made the stay an experience.

Amazing place

Everything in this place is well thought and put together. We had an amazing time there, very peaceful and quiet. The hosts are super friendly and we felt very welcomed. Perfection

Hosts thought of every possible item a visitor to Costa Rica might need or want. From binoculars to maps, insect repellant and rain ponchos, they really thought of everything. Besides that, their space is warm and homey, pups especially welcoming, and the view spectacular. Love their story. Be sure to learn all you can about Encantada.

We stayed at this charming bed and breakfast in Costa Rica, conveniently located near Arenal Volcano. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and we had the place entirely to ourselves, which made for a relaxing stay. The owners, a friendly couple from Utah, shared helpful logistical tips, though they seemed a bit out of touch with some of the current attractions in the area, as they’ve been traveling abroad. Breakfast was included, and while we were encouraged to order as much as we liked (with a reminder to finish what we took), one of the owners made a “happy plate” comment as our dishes were cleared, which felt a little unusual. Overall, it was a lovely property in a fantastic location, with a few quirks in the experience.

Amazing private escape from everything else. Beautiful grounds and views. Fabulous breakfasts and loved the staff. Extra bonus was drinks and treats included with the room. Only thing I would have changed is a window in the room that didn't have a curtain (but was high up). Perhaps some people like to wake up to sunlight. Overall would highly recommend!

Impeccable B&B

I would give 10 stars if I could. Nita and Marty were very attentive hosts. Breakfast is made to order and was perfect each day. The Property was beautiful and well situated. The Toucan room was impeccable. We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. They have put a lot of attention to the details and we felt it. We would definitely stay here when we come back. Thank you so much for our time there.

Amazing view of arenal volcano and beautifully landscaped

Nita and Marty were there to greet you when you arrive to show you around. Michael and Priscilla cooked us delicious breakfasts each morning. They offer you to choose from a good sized list of selections that they will make you. They also have sweet dogs that greeted you and welcomed you back home(Nita and Marty made sure that we were fine with dogs coming around us, which we love animals, so was a plus for us). They have spa options on site Ali g with yoga area along with pool and fire pit.
