Great for family with kids or winter time hunters and ice fishermen, full use of waterfront and amenities (canoe, dock (April-Oct), fire pit). Fully heated and air conditioned for year round use. New washer and dryer included. One master bedroom w/ queen bed, and 2 small bedrooms w/ twin beds. Full kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker.
Unit is positioned on back of 1/2 acre property with full view of lake over main camp. Completely renovated in 2019-2020. Parking for up to 5 vehicles and trailers for snowmobiles or jet skis.

It was clean and homy place. Great location if you are looking for quiet and peaceful vacation near the lake. Laundry machine and dryer were well kept and the heater worked well too!

Great time

Loved waking up early morning to the sunrise on the lake. Such a quiet, beautiful place. Autumn colors were fantastic. The enclosed porch was our favorite spot.

Wonderfully quaint!

We stayed this last week and our stay was great! Mike was wonderful to work with and so generous allowing us to use his grill. We were able to hang out with family and have a family cookout. Great stay!!! Highly recommended!

My daughter's wedding venue was 10 minutes away from this perfect spot! Beautiful view, super clean space...you couldn't ask for anything more. If we ever need to stay in this area again, I would not hesitate to rebook!

Great apartment and beautiful lake front location!

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Dexter. The lake front location is beautiful and the apartment was very clean, spacious (although bedrooms are small—but nice!), and had everything we needed for a great family visit. The landlord was extremely attentive and responded to any questions and requests within minutes. Can’t wait to return for another visit soon!

Peaceful

We had a relaxing stay and appreciated the view of the lake from the apartment. The washer and dryer were a huge convenience. I missed having a dishwasher, though.The unit was clean and spacious. There was an air conditioning unit in the main living space and the master bedroom. The third bedroom did not have a window, which is either a plus or a minus depending on your perspective. For the price and location, I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful VRBO! GREAT PLACE, GREAT HOST!

We absolutely loved this VRBO. Clean, cute, water access. We did not plan it, but happened to be about 1.5 miles from my BF’s mom’s house so often rode our e-bikes between houses. And we had other family staying at his mom’s house who came to play at our waterfront location. Also, Michael, the host, was EXTREMELY responsive to any questions I had. We definitely plan to stay here in the future should we visit his mom again. From a selfish standpoint, I hope my honest, positive review doesn’t make his listing so popular that I can’t get in when I want to, but seriously, he deserves 10 stars. Photo is from fireworks over the lake from a neighbor down the way…

Wonderful!

This property was the perfect location for us - less than 5 minutes from family! The garage apartment had everything we needed - kitchen, tv, internet, warm beds! Though the heat was plenty for the entire space, we still took advantage of the heating blankets - what a nice touch. We were greeted with a warm and inviting hello from Michael, who was onsite to assure us that we had everything we needed. We'll def be back to Dexter, and next time will enjoy more of the lake and the canoes!

Simple getaway

Great spot for Ice Fishing and or Snowmobiling. Two of the rooms are on the smaller side but keep in mind you probably wont be spending all of your time indoors.

Cozy stay for a winter visit

Very warm and cozy despite the Maine winter weather, appreciated the heating system plus electric blankets on the bed that kept us very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with all dishes and cookware you need.

Quiet lake, great beach, very clean.

My family and I had a great stay. The "cabin", as my kids called it, is above the garage. Don't let that deter you! It's a lovely, clean, comfortable place with a modern cabin feel. Very clean with no knick knacks (good if you have young kids). I wondered if not being at ground level would be a pain in terms of getting to the lake, but it wasn't at all. It's quite close, and I actually liked having more control of when my kids were at the water... No 2 year olds escaping to the beech unattended! The neighbor, caretaker, and check in person, Karal, was very friendly and helpful. She supplied a lighter for the fire when needed. Mike, the owner, was also easy to text with as needed. Be sure to bring washing machine soap and shampoo, the latter I thought was supplied but wasn't. It was nice to have the ability to clean clothes, even on a short trip. All in all, the area is quiet on a smallish lake. Very relaxing. The town of Dexter had more stores than I would think for this size town, which was a plus.
