Casa Milagrosa A private one bedroom casita with views overlooking Tucson

Casa Milagrosa is your own private getaway on the east side of Tucson. It is located near Agua Caliente Canyon and overlooks the vast Tucson Valley and sloping mountainside of the Santa Catalina Mountains.

The Casita features tasteful Southwestern decor with a spacious living room, fireplace, kitchenette, bedroom with a queen sized bed and full bath. Our guests feel the serenity of the Sonoran Desert, while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding mountains and star-filled nights from their private porch. The Casita is roughly 25 minutes from Downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona. There are several golf courses nearby, including The Arizona National Golf Club, a Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course ranked in the top 25 of all public courses in Arizona. The Casita is close enough to shopping and grocery stores to be convenient, yet far enough to escape the crowds. There are great restaurants and grocery shopping within 10 minutes of the Casita.

Visitors have access to a heated outdoor salt water spa and fireplace that is privately located across the driveway at the main house. There is also an outdoor propane BBQ in front of the Casita. If you like hiking, trails are within steps of your front door, the trails range in length and difficulty. The Casita offers hiking access to the Aqua Caliente Canyon that will lead you to pools of water and a perfect place for a picnic, or if you prefer, Milagrosa Canyon is a short 20 minute hike. The Milagrosa Falls boast a triple waterfall that can be seen running during the rainy season.

The Casita is equipped with washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, linens, towels, dishes, glassware, silverware, microwave, hot plate, refrigerator with small freezer, Keurig Coffee maker and more. RV and Trailer parking are also available.

Casa Milagrosa is a truly peaceful and serene getaway. We are excited to have you as our guests. If you’ve come to golf, hike, relax or visit many of the things Tucson has to offer such as the Sonoran Desert Museum, the Air and Space Museum, Mount Lemmon, you will not be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The casita was clean and comfortable. Lots of hot water for a good soaking bath. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the porch both in the morning and at night. Love the layout of the casita and the front porch. Having use of a washer and dryer was a definite plus. We would definitely stay there again.

This is an adorable Casita. Very well appointed & decorated. The landscape is gorgeous with lots of wildlife to see. Comfy bed;very nice bath; comfy couch & lots of choices on the tv. And...CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!

Quiet Getaway

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is for you. I work in Seattle, so it is constant noise from sirens, freight trains going by, traffic... you name it! Casa Milagrosa was everything I needed to unwind a bit. It's close to shopping and downtown activities. The tourist spots are relatively easy to get to also. The mountain views are calming and watching the sunset with a glass of Arizona wine can't be beat! I cannot reccomend Casa Milagrosa enough!

Uniek gelegen huisje midden in de natuur met een mooi uitzicht en een fijne veranda. Alle voorzieningen aanwezig, mooi en smaakvol ingericht. Het enige verbeterpunt is het geluidsniveau van de airco en de irritante zoem van de fan in de woonkamer.

What a wonderful place to stay

This is nestled in the desert with a beautiful interior, very relaxing and comfortable. We will be coming back. My husband said not to say too many good things about it or I wouldn’t be able to get a reservation. I would suggest not coming in tonight as two Sundays a dark city. It was a bit complicated to find.

Beautiful desert views

The Casita is just what I was looking and hoping for! I loved the semi-remote location for privacy, peace, and quiet. While the hosts live across the driveway, they were hardly ever seen nor heard. Inside the casita were nice amenities and I liked the SW decor. Just a few suggestions: 1) Google maps wants to send you to location via an inaccessible (private?) road. I drove in circles 5 times before figuring an alternative route myself- mapping first to beautiful Agua Caliente State Park, then on to casita address. 2) Being over 65, and with a bad knee, I hadn't prepared for beautiful rock-landscaped stairs, so that was a little rough n tough, unloading n loading, carrying groceries... 3) The bed was very uncomfortable, imho. But that's me. I like a nice comfy, but firm feel. 4) A bigger refrigerator would be nicer; I had to use my cooler n got ice for all the food, even just for myself. 4) Lastly, thats one heck of a steep driveway to drive up n down with little turn around room. I managed well, but maybe not for drivers lacking skills. So, all-in-all, a lovely, memorable experience, suggestions aside, and I would highly recommend it. I had an amazing and very relaxing time. Thank you! Just a few suggestions: 1)

Fantastic place to stay in Tucson.

This casita was perfect for our weekend away. The area is very beautiful, quiet and the casita was beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen and many other amenities. The casita was close to many good restaurants and close to downtown area. Hope to go back again.

Peaceful times in a beautiful place

Great place for our interests: nature at the door step with birds of many varieties and hiking trails beginning 100 yards away. No traffic. Great views of mountains, sunsets and night sky.

Amazing Stay

I can't say enough good things about our stay here. We had a fantastic vacation in the Tucson area and it was made all the better knowing we had such a comfortable and cozy place to go at the end of every day! Judy and Ramon were super responsive to our questions, yet allowed us our privacy. The views from the Casita are amazing ... watching the sun go down from the porch was a highlight!Would definitely stay again!

Sonoran Desert Oasis

If you are looking to treat yourself to a first-class lodging experience, don't wait to book this special place! The owners have thought of every little detail and provided all the comforts you could think of. The hot tub is incredible and controlled by a phone app which we thought was really cool. The sunsets were colorful from the front porch. The casita is well-designed and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed hiking in Saguaro and mountain biking in Catalina. I could go on but you get the idea. Five stars all around!

Nice stay

We wanted a place in the Tanque Verde area, and this was perfect for us. It's a rural setting, with hiking trails within 100 yards of the casita and close to the Mount Lemon road, Reddington Pass and other outdoor areas, but also with stores and restaurants within about a 15 minute drive. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Close to Mt. Lemmon

What a wonderful single bed casita in extreme northeastern Tucson located very near Mt. Lemmon highway. The description of the casita is exactly what is offered. If you want quiet, secluded, location with a comfortable bed this is your place. The owners are very nice pleasant folks.
