A Mixed Bag
There are some definite positives and negatives about this place.
First the positives - having been a number of times to Paris I enjoyed the location. This is a quiet, residential neighbourhood in close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. though it is well away from the centre. The building has lovely gardens and the back garden for the unit is also cute - though also cluttered with cleaning supplies piled back there. Mawan was friendly and professional at check-in but then mostly unreachable later.
Cleaning and preparation of the unit itself was haphazard. -The coffee machine does not function, which was a nasty surprise and the host did not respond to our note about this.
-No soap. No kitchen towel (we found a dirty one balled up in one of the drawers but it was not useable). One roll of toilet paper for 3 guests for 5 days.
-There were linens - clean and dirty - piled randomly in the closets and drawers. Our own linens came in a sack and there were not enough pillows for the three of us.
-the handles on the garden doors fall right off when you touch them.
-Dishes were dirty. no drying rack for them.
-there was a floor mat rolled up and stuffed behind the couch with some cushions.
-we had to vacuum the floor and clear many cobwebs after we arrived.
-The projector, we were told, did not work and did not have any cords to connect it with our devices. But, we were able to get it working and also found a cord. Not an easy setup but doable.
