Beautiful Charlotte Lake Wylie Waterfront Bungalow

Perfect Lakefront Bungalow on Lake Wylie minutes from Uptown Charlotte. Our beautiful home was designed and made for entertaining and hosting memorable experiences. This house is perfect If you want a quiet time to relax and enjoy nature with beautiful views of the lake, or if you want to play on the lake boating, swimming, kayaking, or fishing. Or if you want enjoy all that Charlotte has to offer- our home is a perfect place to be.

The space
Our spacious 4600 square foot home has a large kitchen that serves as the hub of the home. A large island with chairs has plenty of room. There are large separate refrigerator/freezer, 6 burner gas top stove, double ovens and large ice maker this kitchen is a cooks delight. The big 96 inch kitchen table makes a fun place to enjoy meals together, sit for good conversations or play games.
With four different levels our home has many different spaces and places to be- the outside covered porch is beautiful with a stone fireplace. You will find two large tables and big comfy chairs and rockers to enjoy. The dock also has seating and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. Two kayaks are available to use. There is a outside cooking area with a large gas grill.
The downstairs has a lot of seating to watch a movie and there is a foosball and shuffle board table. there is also another sleeping area with two twin size beds
Upstairs you will find a large seating area with another TV and with two additional bedrooms and full bathroom with claw foot tub and walk in shower .
The Master Bedroom is huge with sitting area here too and doors opening up to views of the lake- the master bath has large jetted tub and big walk in shower-

Great lake house with plenty of room

Even with a bit of rain the kids has room to play or the dock to fish. The covered outdoor area was perfect for a family get together regardless of weather. Great settings close to stores but with a secluded lake front setting..

Making Family Memories!

This property was exactly as advertised! So beautiful and the house is equipped with absolutely everything you need for all ages! My family from 3 years old to 84 got to be together and just enjoy this property! So appreciate how wonderful and easy the whole process of check in and out was! Will be going again!

This house is just amazing. It’s so cozy and comfy. Each time I’d walk into a room I’d see something I hadn’t noticed before. The property is just as amazing. Loved the dock and the back porch. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a week with our family.

Our Special Week on the Lake

Family friendly home with charm and warmth. Quiet cove with easy access to the main part of Lake Wylie. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation week.

Annual Family Gathering

Four generations under one roof. This is an annual event for our family for grand parents, parents, kids, grandkids,and great grand kids to spend time together. Got to visit with aunts, uncles and cousins in the area. Perfect location. House activities, games, and the lake kept the kids entertained and busy.

Second time visiting!

This was our second trip to this property and it is starting to feel like home. We love this house because of the outdoor patio and fireplace, lake views and large kitchen. Also the location is so close to the airport that it makes departing hassle free. The hosts are wonderful. We will probably be back in 2024!

Great stay

Overall a really good stay in a great spot, everything was as pictured and promised. We had our one and three year old grandchildren with us and they loved the games and the yard and dock. One thing, there are a number of Nick Nacks quite low which was tough with the young kids, I’m quite sure we didn’t get them all put back in the correct places

2 Families of 4 - Highly Recommend

We had an amazing time at this house – highly recommend. Wonderful house and host. We were two families of four, with four kids aged 9-11. The house was more than big enough for us, and everyone was happy hanging out at the dock, playing in the lake on the kayaks, chilling in the patio area, playing foosball and shuffleboard, and hanging out in the various spaces. The kitchen was the most stocked kitchen we’ve ever experienced and has all the kitchen tools you need. The pictures really don’t do the house justice – it’s better than it looks. We also rented a boat for a day which we parked for a moment at the dock. And we rented paddleboards for a couple of days. I also rode my mountain bike down the road to a nice mountain bike park with trails and jumps. You feel tucked away in nature and with a private bay, and you have the convenience of shops and restaurants just 5 minutes away. We would love to return to this house. Thank you!

Nothing but charm

We expected a lovely lake house but when we arrived it was way more wonderful than expected. The house is immaculate and has a fully stocked kitchen. The charming outdoor patio had seating for our whole family plus a beautiful outdoor fireplace and grill. It overlooked the dock which too had plenty of seating to enjoy coffee and relaxing down by the water. We LOVED our stay at Becky’s lovely lakefront home and will definitely be back. Thank you Becky and family!!!!

Fantastic Hidden Gem of a Lakehouse!

This was our second stay at the Morrison's lakehouse after a wonderful week vacation here last year. Host is one of the best we've dealt with in over 10yrs of vacation rentals! This place is PERFECT for a larger group, especially if you're staying with more than 1 family. Super quiet and serene surroundings, yet only a few minutes away from anything you could possibly do in CLT. House was spotless and they really go above and beyond with the little amenities that most places rarely have - really impressive!!! Home has tons of character.

Absolutely lovely!

Our second stay at this wonderful house. It feels like a first rate country inn, a house full of character coupled with every amenity imaginable. Secluded setting on a quiet cove yet stores/ restaurants a short drive away. Room for the grandkids to play outside, when they weren’t playing with the toys upstairs! The porch is a dream. A bad thunderstorm caused a water leak but the Morrisons arranged for the nicest neighbor to take care of it for us right away, so it didn’t bother us at all. Can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely stunning

This was our second time staying at this amazing house on lake wylie and we love it!! Its peaceful and serene. We enjoy fishing, kayaking and just hanging out on the dock. Its a perfect location. Everything from shopping to Carowinds is only a 20 minute drive. The house itself is just amazing! The owners are very on top of things, attentive. My family and I look forward to going back another year!! A+++

This was our second stay at this property and we absolutely loved it both times. Everything about it is perfect for a family vacation. There are plenty of sleeping accommodations and gathering spaces (inside and out), with room for people to spread out or come together as they like, across four separate levels. The home is huge! We've had 9 -10 people here without feeling the least bit crowded, and I think a dozen would be absolutely fine. The outdoor space is especially nice, with a large covered patio and lots of seating, a wood fireplace, and a gas grill. We launched our boat from a public landing and kept it at the dock all week, so we could go for a boat ride any time, and also swim and float off the dock. Stores are just minutes away for quick grocery runs, yet the property feels very secluded. You can barely get a glimpse of neighboring houses through the trees. We had several people fly in, and the proximity to the airport was very nice. Carowinds is also nearby, making a day trip there a breeze. And the hosts are wonderful. Absolutely no complaints about this property...100% recommended.

One of the best

First off, the house is in great condition and super clean. Lovely private property; lots of trees, direct lakefront on a quiet cove with virtually no boat traffic. Our children and grandchildren loved the kayaks. The house is very large and unique, every amenity imaginable. Comfy beds, comfy pillows, lovely linens, tons of towels. Our favorite spot by far was the beautiful covered porch. The gong was especially popular with the little ones. There are books, toys and puzzles which were greatly enjoyed. The owner responded within minutes any time we had a question. By far one of the top vacation rentals we’ve had. It felt like home and can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely Perfect Stay in Charlotte

If I could give this property and its owners more than a 5 start rating I would! Everything was wonderful, from the great communication to the location to the house itself. The house.. oh my goodness the house. The photos do not do it justice. There is SO MUCH ROOM. There was room for our entire family to spread out, work a little, come together for thanksgiving dinner and games around the dining table. Space to do everything. And speaking of thanksgiving, having spent many thanksgiving dinners at rental houses I came prepared because as we all know, they never have what you need to do a big dinner. This house has everything you need from pans to rolling pins to bakeware. It’s all here. The home really is fully equipped for whatever vacation you could imagine. It is beautifully decorated although they don’t need to decorate, every window is like looking at a painting. The fireplace on the porch is our favorite spot .. we spent every evening there. It is right on a cove off of Lake Wyile so during the summer I imagine it is a boaters paradise. Only a short drive from all that charlotte has to offer and there are other neat little towns close by. Shopping is 5 min away yet you feel so private and secluded on the property. If you are considering this space for your trip book it now. Before someone else does. It is amazing.

Perfect for big families!

I wasn’t sure it would be possible to find a place that would both house and also entertain our large family for our summer vacation, but this place delivered and then some! Our entire crew was 12 people and we still fit comfortably for sleeping, eating, and entertainment. The first few days of our trip the weather was rainy, which prevented some planned activities, but fortunately this place had plenty of space for family gaming (and a large selection of games to use) and even enjoying the beautiful backyard patio in the light rain! Overall, the back patio/yard was by far the biggest hit with my family. From the beautiful views of the lake, to fishing off the dock, to roasting marshmallows in the wood burning fireplace, to playing games in the open yard, the fun we had outside made some of the best memories. With such a big crew, we prepared almost all of our meals at the house. The kitchen was very spacious and well stocked with every appliance we needed. The separate ice maker was very handy as well! Finally, the location of this place was awesome! Despite being not far off the interstate and just over five minutes from a grocery store, the actually location is tucked back in the woods around the lake and offered wonderful privacy and space. Overall, our stay exceeded even our highest expectations! I would strongly recommend this place to anyone with a large group vacationing in the Charlotte area and I expect we’ll be back on our next Charlotte vacation!

Perfect location for large groups

We stayed at this wonderful property with our extended family. The location is very convenient to Charlotte, the airport, and Carowinds. There are stores just a few minutes from the house, but once you get to the house on the lake, it feels nicely isolated. The home itself is huge and what may not be apparent from the photos is just how many separate spaces there are for people to disperse if they'd like a little space, while the kitchen, dining, and covered porch area is also able to accommodate everyone at once. We fixed all of our meals here which was great for a family gathering, and everything we needed was provided. The home sits on a lakefront lot with a large dock. We were able to put our boat in the lake at a public landing and then keep it tied up at the dock for our whole stay, making use of the boat very convenient. Everyone also enjoyed swimming off the dock. On our check-in day before we arrived it was discovered that one of the three A/C units for the home wasn't working. The property owner contacted us immediately to let us know they were working on a solution (it was a Sunday). They were able to get someone to come out and fix it the next day. It was a relatively minor issue, but shows how attentive and engaged the homeowner is with following up to resolve any issues. Communication was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again if we decide to do another family gathering in the area. Definitely one of the best rental properties we've ever stayed in.

Perfect lake front home getaway

This house couldn't have been anymore perfect!! Becky is a phenomenal host!! Lakefront home was excellent secluded location just minutes away from shopping an the amusement park! My family of six was never bored we absolutely loved every single day and highly recommend for another trip in the near future!!!

Beautiful Home for large family or group

We packed this place full with 4 adults and 6 teens/tweens for 4 nights. The kids were never bored. My friend and I cooked every meal in. Husbands grilled outside. We loved the outdoor space and spent most of our free time there. The pictures do not do the size of this place justice. Every room was large and we never got in each other's way. Love the decor!!! We enjoyed watching the birds and sitting by the fire. It was safe, clean and so close to the airport. Location was ideal for making an early flight.

Great property to share with family

We enjoyed a special time with our family. Teens especially loved the lake. The "older" adults relished the beautiful lake and garden. We all enjoyed feeding the fish each day. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
