Modern Ski-in/Ski-out in Silver Lake. Fully Remodeled. Steps to the slopes!!!
The ski-in/ski-out, Double Eagle condominiums are located in Silver Lake, mid-mountain Deer Valley. They are built up the hillside and have a ski access onto the Success ski run on Bald Eagle Mountain, Deer Valley’s lower mountain. From this trail, ski down to the base of the mountain and start your ski day from there (the base area is also where the ski school meets for lessons each morning and afternoon). From the top of Bald Eagle you can catch the access and ski right back to the condo.
This completely remodeled, 'mountain modern' style property is sure to impress! It is spacious (approximately 2950 square feet) with a 3 level floor plan. From the front door you enter the main level where the living room, kitchen, and dining area are combined as one great room (the two car garage is also on this level). Just outside the living room is a deck with gorgeous views of the mountains surrounding the Park City and Deer Valley area. Up the stairs, on the third floor, is the master bedroom suite and a loft area with bunk beds ( full on the bottom and twin on top). There is also a small desk area in the loft if you choose to catch up on some work. The lower level consists of the second and third bedroom, the laundry closet, and the patio with a private hot tub.
Ski Access: Ski in and out via a private ski trail, which runs adjacent to the community. The private ski trail leads to the Success ski run (to ski out) and can be accessed from the Silver Link ski run (to ski in).
Living Room: Lots of cozy furnishing, vaulted ceiling, hardwood flooring, floor to ceiling stone fireplace (gas burning), 65” HDTV.
Kitchen: Hardwood flooring, lots of counter space, stainless steel appliances including a 4 burner Kitchen Aide stove/oven, Kitchen Aide side by side refrigerator, reverse osmosis tap at kitchen sink for purified water. Counter/bar separates the kitchen space from the living area.
Dining Room: Seating at the dining table for 6, with barstool seating for 4 at the kitchen counter. New dining furniture coming summer 2024.
Bedrooms: (New Layout for 2024/2025 Season! All brand new mattresses as well!) Primary – King bed, and in the loft area there are bunk beds with a full on the bottom and a twin on top, HDTV, fully remodeled adjoining spa style full bath with soaking tub and separate shower. Second – Two new double beds (installed summer 2024) with adjoining full bathroom, HDTV. Third – New King bed (installed summer 2024), twin daybed and trundle, HDTV, adjoining full bathroom.

Distance to Deer Valley Resort: Use ski access to get onto the ski runs and back to the condo, or walk to the Silver Lake Lodge (2/10 mile). To use the ski access, enter the common garage, take the elevator and stairs up to the snow, then pole/skate out to the Success ski run. It is a relatively flat trail with not much slope. Distance to Park City Mountain Resort: 4.5 miles Distance to Main Street: 3.5 miles Distance to Free Bus: 75 yards to bus stop.

Overall, the experience was good. We ran into a problem with no hot water during the first few days but replacement of the hot water tank solved that problem. Also, Alpine refunded some of our rental fee for the problem which we appreciate.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay, great location, and ski in and out experience was nice. A short walk with skis to slopes, but a true ski in at the end of the day was nice. Kitchen was supplied with great essentials. Nice to not buy basic needs. would stay at this location again.

Excellent other than some minor stuff
Overall, our stay was excellent. The location of the property was fabulous, and it was very clean and as advertised. We were a bit disappointed that we could not get the living room fireplace or the from door keypad to work, and despite informing the manager, these items were not taken care of during our stay. Also, we arrived in Park City around noon and left around noon, and were not allowed an early check-in nor a late check-out. Would've hoped for those conveniences for the price.

We're sorry to hear of these issues during your stay and have made sure to remedy them. The fireplace has been fixed and is working properly. The front door keypad is also working properly now and better instructions will be supplied to future guests. Early arrival and late check-in are strictly based on availability and it was not allowable because there were other guests coming and going. We try to accommodate these requests as best we can. Thanks for staying and we hope you'll give us another try in the future.

The home itself was nice. Thought the “ski in and ski out” situation was better but it’s definitely a bit of a cross country trek from condo. Our biggest complaint is when we arrived that we had to drive to another location to pick up what we thought would be the key, but it was just a piece of paper with the code. That was a complete waste of time. Then when we showed up the code didn’t work, so we were stuck outside in the snow for a bit trying to get ahold of after hours number to get in the house. Once we did get in, the entire house smelled terrible, because the gas stove top was left on. Thank God, we realized what it was before starting the fireplace because it could’ve been disastrous. They did give us $700Credit for the inconvenience.

We are sorry you didn’t realize there were several ways to access the Ski in/Ski out but we have now put up signs in the new Ski Prep area in the garage that clearly explain how to located the elevator directly to the ski access for this true Ski In/Ski out property! We hope that will avoid the cross country trek up the exterior stairs - unless you're looking for leg warm up, of course!

We love this property. It has a great location and seems brand new! The style and furnishings on the upper two levels are heavenly!However, the downstairs needs a bit of work. The upstairs master bedroom is amazing, but has an attached office which has been turned into a bunk room. The kids wanted to sleep there, but my husband and I needed a more private room with a door separate from the kids. So we ended up sleeping downstairs. The room didn’t have a bedside lamp, the nightstand was scratched and old, the bathtub tiny and the toilet paper hook broken. So it was quite unfortunate that we had to be stuck down there. I was thinking families should know about this and think through the layout before they book. If there were say two families booking together, the family that got to stay upstairs would have an incredible experience but the family staying downstairs would feel like cattle class.I suggest to the owner to improve the downstairs bedroom experience. Also change the lighting to softer bulbs instead of the cheap daylight ones. We did enjoy the hot tub and figured out how to use the garage for a “ski in ski out experience.” It would be helpful to write the lifts to use to ski back to the house. I gave three stars on cleanliness as there were some hairballs downstairs in the bathroom floor and on the tub rug. But overall we enjoyed it and Thanks for our stay!

These problems have been addressed with our staff so that future guests will not have the same issues. The New Owners have completed extensive updating of the downstairs including all new furniture and décor. New furniture has been installed and the bedding arrangement has been changed to provide better sleeping situations for families traveling together. We sure hope you'll come back and try Double Eagle 18 again now that the improvements are complete! Thanks for sharing.

Best condo we have ever had the privilege to stay in while visiting family in Park City. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. When you enter the home through the front door your mouth drops open from pure enchantment. Fresh snow had fallen the day we arrived and the expansive windows allowed us to relax by the gas fireplace and view a winter wonderland in May. Every bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was beautiful. So grateful to have had the opportunity to spend the week here and at a reasonable price that we Floridians could afford!!!
