EXCEPTIONAL PROMOTION 15% FROM 09 JULY TO 12 JULY FOR THE PASSAGE OF THE TOUR DE FRANCE CYCLING IN OUR BEAUTIFUL REGION Large stone family house ideally located in the heart of the Dordogne valley, in a quiet green setting. On the south-facing terrace, you can rest and admire 3 of the most visited castles in the Dordogne (Beynac, Castelnaud and Marqueyssac) in the Golden Triangle.
The "Golden Triangle" brings together seven neighbouring communes of the Périgord Noir located just south of Sarlat: Beynac and Cazenac, Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Cénac-et-Saint Julien, Domme, La Roque-Gageac, Vézac and Vitrac. Since 2010, they have been labelled "Major Site of Aquitaine" because of the unity of the built and natural heritage of the Dordogne Valley with its landscape shaped by the river, its cliffs, its medieval villages and castles.
This exceptional territory has 11 castles, from Montfort to Beynac, as well as 4 villages classified among the "Most Beautiful in France": Beynac-et-Cazenac, Domme, La Roque-Gageac, Castelnaud-la-Chapelle.

The house has a surface area of 120 m2 and is accessible by a dead-end road. It has 3 bedrooms, including a master suite. Possibility of 6 beds and a travel cot are at your disposal. There is a dining room, a living room with a fireplace, an equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, 2 toilets, 1 cellar and 1 garage.

A fenced park of 4000 m2 allows you to enjoy the remarkable view and the calm of the site. Garden tables with chairs, benches, deckchairs and barbecue are also at your disposal.

The house is located:
- 10 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat.
- 5 minutes from the Dordogne valley, its castles and villages classified by the most beautiful villages in France such as La Roque Gageac.
- 5 minutes from Beynac which has a mini-market, a butcher, a bakery and a farmers' market in July/August.
- 10 minutes from the Château des Milandes, the castle of Josephine Baker.
- 10 minutes from the Dordogne to swim.
- 35 minutes from the Lascaux caves.

Rental only from Saturday 4 p.m. to Saturday 10 a.m. in July/August.

A beautiful home and an excellent location from which to enjoy the Dordogne and surrounding villages. The house is well-equipped and comfortable for up to 6 people. It is obviously a family home and there remain many treasures and memories of Madame Lacour's parents which add to the ambience. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, showers good. The only thing I would improve was the quality of the towels so if this is an issue - bring your own. The house is well off the road so quiet and surrounded by gardens and trees. It was very hot while we were there but the house is cool and can be kept so by using shutters and windows correctly. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

This is a delightful property, set well back off the road, so very quiet. It is extremely well equipped with everything we needed. (And for babies and children too)The house is more like second home with lots of charm and with a lovely mature garden. It is totally secure with lots of parking too. We met our host both when we anrrived and left and she was both wonderful and very helpful. Overall this was a very clean and comfortable house and we loved it.

What a beautiful place, what a warm welcome, what an excellent hostess. This "Maison de Famille" in Vezac has views of both the Chateau Beynac and the Chateau de Milandes. But what's even more wonderful: views of the lovely countryside, and the amazing roses, trees, lawns around the house. The house itself has a welcoming kitchen (yes, we cooked), a very comfortable living and dining room, and extremely comfortable bedrooms. A peaceful place to relax, and to use as home base for exploring this favorite part of la belle France.

Wonderful Family Home

Set back in a garden, the house is private, quiet, and well loved. There is everything you might need, and the location is convenient for exploring the many sights in the area. There is a small grocery store in Beynac, but the bakery of your dreams is just over the bridge towards Castlenaud. Evelyn is a gracious host and a great communicator, en Francais.

Spectacular (even in the rain!)

We had the best stay here. Eve was so helpful. She even treated us to the local walnut cake upon our arrival! The property is gorgeous, with a view of a castle in the distance. The house was spacious and well stocked. The location is close to several impressive sites. Everything was just perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. This was one if the best equipped house we ever stayed in (all equipment and basic necessities are stocked)—very practical when visiting from abroad. Everything is exactly as described and the host takes great care of all details and for you to have a great stay. Plus she greated us with some local food to taste. We stayed with our 2 year old son who enjoyed playing in the big yard (the provided baby bed, high chair and potty were a real bonus). We would highly recommend staying at Evelyne’s house for quiet family vacations in the country, yet close to everything in the beautiful Dordogne area.

A perfect spot!

This beautiful family home has everything, peace & tranquillity, yet very close to wonderful places to visit. It’s not like staying in a rental property, it’s a real, well furnished, well equipped home. Eve was there to welcome us, & show us her home, which has a beautiful garden, too. We spent our evenings eating on the back patio, & one evening 11 hot air balloons floated by! A great view of Beynac castle from the front, La Roque Gageac just 3 miles away, the gardens of Marqueyssac just 2 miles and the town of Sarlat close, too. The house kept cool in the heat, thanks to the shutters. So peaceful, yet so close to the Dordogne river & Chateaux! Recommend without reservation…we just had a glorious two weeks in the Perigord! Charming git with lovely gardens in the Dordogne. The kitchen is well stocked and the git itself is so close to numerous top places to visit. We traveled with two young kiddos and it was perfect for our family of four with room to spare! The hostess was kind and welcoming. Even though we stayed during a record heat wave the git stayed reasonably comfortable at night with a fan.

We loved our stay in the Dordogne region, and this property is perfect for enjoying all that the area has to offer! Eve was a gracious and hospitable host, and the house was very comfortable. We cooked at home several nights thanks to the well equipped kitchen, and the coffee bar area was a treat, too! Plus, it is impossible to beat waking up to gorgeous flowers all around the property, birds singing, a view of Château de Beynac from the driveway, and hot air balloons overhead. It was like a fairy tale! Thank you, Eve! This was a special family vacation to remember!

Der Empfang durch die Vermieter war sehr freundlich mit vielen interessanten Informationen. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und mit allen notwendigen Utensilien ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr gut,viele Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Arrivée très bien préparée.la maison en elle-même correspond à l'annonce et à nos besoins, Bémol sur sommiers chambre à deux lits plutôt fatigués.très bon point: moustiquaires aux fenêtres!!! Très bonne idée. Wifi présent, mais ADSL, assez léger en débit et de nombreuses coupures. Proximité avec Sarlat et Vallées des 5 chateaux à moins de 10 minutes. Très bonnes vacances, à conseiller

Je souhaite cependant apporter quelques précisions sur les points que vous mentionnez : - La connexion Internet sera prochainement améliorée, la fibre devant être installée d'ici la fin de l'année. La localisation de la maison explique ce délai. Jusqu'à présent, plusieurs vacanciers en télétravail ont pu utiliser la connexion sans difficultés particulières. - Concernant les sommiers, il s'agit d'une appréciation subjective. Je prends néanmoins bonne note de votre remarque et y prêterai une attention particulière. Vos observations me sont précieuses pour continuer à améliorer le confort de mes vacanciers. un petit paradis qu'on ne veut pas quitter

La propriétaire est d'une extrême gentillesse et très efficace. La maison est calme avec de belles vues, elle est entourée de verdure, vaste et confortable, cheminée et terrasse. Nous avons passé huit jours dans cette maison chaleureuse dont nous gardons un souvenir excellent. Merci.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer tollen Umgebung

Das sehr schöne Haus liegt sehr günstig zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten im Perigord. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet innen und außen reichlich Platz für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Übergabe erfolgte schnell und reibungslos. Für uns war der nahe gelegene Bäcker in Beynac sehr wichtig, weil er es ermöglichte, dass wir jeden Morgen frisches Baguette zum Frühstück hatten. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Paradies mit Aussicht!!

Gelegen auf einen riesengroßen wunderbaren Grundstück haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Für das wechselhafte Wetter war die überdachte Terrrasse wunderbar. Ein großer Dank an Evelyn für Ihre Geduld und den wunderbaren Nusskuchen. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und im Bad findet man eine Dusche, die schöner nicht sein könnte. Aber auch hier gibt es ein paar Punkte, die nachgebesser werden könnten. Die Matratze im Schlafzimmer zur Terrasse könnte erneuert werden, ebenso die Sitzmöbel im Wohnzimmer. Die Lage des Hauses ist genial zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten gelegen, endlich mal keine langen Fahrtstrecken!! Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.
