Great pool villa with very high speed Wifi, air conditioning, billiards!

Villa Malya is situated in the heights of Punaauia on the west coast of Tahiti Island. This part of the island is very dynamic, you will find a wide choice of restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and shopping options. This is by far the most popular and touristic area of Tahiti Island. The most beautiful white sand beaches are at less than 15-min drive around such as the Taina Marina and the international airport and the 4-star resorts.
Villa Malya has everything you and your family need. From a beautiful fresh pool facing the ocean and Moorea Island to a large covered terrace welcoming a pool table and a table football.
The living room in the middle of the villa separates the two nights spaces. It opens onto a covered terrace facing the pool and the ocean. The master bedroom is on the left side when the two other bedrooms are located on the other side of the living room for more intimacy.
Villa Malya features 3 bedrooms including a master bedroom with its own dressing room and bathroom (wc, shower and double sinks). The 2 other bedrooms share the same bathroom (wc, shower and single sink). All three bedrooms are air-conditioned.
The pool is ideally located in the heart of the lush and well planted garden which also welcomes a barbecue area for the comfort of the guests.
Recently renovated Villa Malya is ideal for a Tahiti holiday or a stopover before travelling to the outer islands. Fiber-optic internet is available for free and will please travelers on workcation or business trip. Finally, the connected flat-screen TV is a must for families with kids.
In a quiet residential neighborhood called Miri, this single-storey vacation villa is fenced and gated with an electrical portal.
Whether it is for a family stay or a friendly vacation, this seasonal rental will comfortably accommodate 6 people (6 adults or 2 adults and 4 children).
We strongly recommend that you rent a vehicle for the duration of your stay. Please contact us for assistance.

Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood with a gorgeous view of Moorea. The pool was refreshing and private. Kitchen had everything we needed and the home was very clean. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return.

Great house with beautiful view of Moorea

The house was great and had a beautiful view of Moorea. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were plenty of linens and towels. We especially appreciated the agent Alexandra, who met us at the property and gave us a very clear and complete tour of the house.

Beautiful & stunning

We loved our stay!!! It’s was beautiful and breath taking. The time we went was their summer so it was definitely hot. But being in the mountain we had great breezes and you could feel the temp differences we loved it and would stay there again!!!

Tahiti

The villa was pretty much as listed, the views are particularly fabulous. The kitchen is well equipped and has recently been refitted. The beds were very comfortable. A suggestion for improvement would be a hanging rail for the second/third bedrooms as there was nowhere to hang anything in those rooms, and more hangers in the main bedroom would be useful. Other than those minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this property. We stayed here for 7 nights on our first visit to Tahiti before moving on to other islands.

Lovely well-equipped house and pool with view

This comfortable house was just what we needed for our group of 5, exploring the island of Tahiti, with good living spaces indoors and out. It felt private and was in a quiet residential area, off the beaten track. However, it was easy to find by using the detailed picture instructions provided by the property manager (don't use Google Maps which directs you up a one way street in the wrong direction!) The property and pool were well-maintained and very well-equipped. There was a great introductory tour provided by the property manager, but it took us a while to find the pool and BBQ lights (unlabelled on a post outside).

A Lovely Introduction to Tahiti

The house was modern (with an induction stove!), clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Great pool and patio area. The bedrooms were all roomy and had AC split units (but the main living, common areas did not). Coming from Hawaii, we were familiar with tropical environs though Tahiti was hotter and much more humid perhaps because it lacked the trade winds that help cool Hawaii. Interestingly, despite the large presence of mosquitoes and other topical critters, we noticed there were no screens on doors and windows on any houses we saw, including this one, so we generally kept the windows and doors closed and relied on the AC to keep the house comfortable. Also, the dining table was outside on the lanai which caused everyone to apply insect repellent at mealtime to protect against mosquito bites. Last observation is that the house is located on a ridge pretty far up and back from the highway in an upscale neighborhood so it was a bit of a jog to go anywhere, even to the store, with a plethora of speed bumps to contend with going up and down the hill in our small, underpowered rental car. Again, this is not by way of complaint but simply observation. We enjoyed our stay there.
