Property description:
The Tour de Barrigione is a 16th-century Genoese residential tower located in the town of Sisco, in the hamlet of Barrigione in Cap Corse, 25 km from Bastia.
It is a unique 180 m² residence with a 2,500 m² garden in the heart of the hamlet of Barrigione, home to the Sisco Town Hall and Saint Martin Church.
We completed renovations in 2019: Completely redone electrical work in the kitchen, the master suite, and the bathrooms.
Sheets and towels are available for an additional fee of 25€ per room.
A cleaning fee of 60€ will be charged upon your arrival.
Our home is laid out as follows:

First floor: 40 m² dining room adjoining the kitchen, opening onto the terrace and garden.
Fully equipped kitchen: Electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, ice maker, toaster.
1st floor (accessible by car via the garden):
- Large 40 m² room with vaulted ceiling and a slate fireplace
- 30 m² bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a view of the sea
- Shower room with exterior access, equipped with a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink.
2nd “family” floor:
- Bathroom with a 120-cm bathtub, sink, and toilet
- Bedroom with two 90-cm beds overlooking the alley
- Bedroom with a 140-cm bed overlooking the garden
- Separate toilet between the 2nd and 3rd floors.

3rd floor:
- Bedroom with two 90-cm beds, garden view
- “La Marine” bedroom with a 140-cm bed, ocean view
- “L’Alcôve” bedroom with a 140-cm bed, ocean view
Town of Sisco:
Its history:
The Sisco Valley stretches over 25 km² between the sea and the mountains, making this part of Corsica particularly stunning, picturesque, and ideal for tourism thanks to its heritage steeped in history.
The Sisco Valley is thus a strip of land with steep slopes, open to the sea but closed off upstream as it is backed by the Serra. The peninsula’s central mountain range, dominated by its highest peak, A cime di e follicie—which rises to 1,311 m and seems to reach into the clouds—extends laterally from the central range westward toward the Tyrrhenian Sea,east, sandwiched between two ridgelines and its stream, U Fiume di Siscu. According to the 18th-century Terrier map, the municipality has 700 hectares of arable land. No site—or even any place—is actually called “Sisco.” Only a stream called U Fiume di Siscu proudly bears that name. The green valley of Sisco is the watershed of the U Fiume di Siscu stream, which is 6.5 km long and has its source at an elevation of 660 m on the slope of Stellu "Guado a l'Alzi" is fed by the waters of six tributaries and eventually flows into the sea at Marine de Sisco, north of the pebble beach.
Benefiting from a maritime Mediterranean climate with moderate temperature variations, the municipality features vegetation consisting mainly of low-lying Mediterranean scrub. There is no forest cover. The main causes are deforestation carried out over the past few centuries to make way for crops (two high-altitude sites, between 800 and 1,000 m on the slopes of Cima di e Follicie, are named Presa di a Vadaccia and Presa di a Croce) and frequent wildfires.
Sisco is accessible only by road. The D80 road, which circles Cap Corse, runs along its coastline.
