Bigfoot - Trinity Mountain Retreat

Willow Creek is located on Highway 299 along the Trinity River. It’s about 40 miles from Downtown Arcata, 46 miles from the Arcata-Eureka Airport and Highway 101, and 99 miles from the Redding Airport and Interstate-5.

The 3- bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental features a full kitchen to suit all your cooking and baking needs, eat in kitchen with seating for four, a cozy living room with flat screen TV and Direct TV satellite cable.

Unlimited Starlink Internet service available for work use or access to your favorite phone apps, movies, texting and phone calls.

Coffee Station- Coffee Maker with Keurig and pot available. Keurig pods are provided as well as filters. If you prefer ground coffee, please bring your own.

Outside dining includes gas grill, lounge chairs, outside dining table and bar set with umbrellas. Seasonal front porch includes patio set with chairs and table to enjoy your morning coffee to watch the deer roam in the yard or sit in the evening and watch the sun set behind the mountains.

Garage is equipped with wash sink, small table and stools, and ping pong table for additional entertainment space.

Washer/Dryer - linens and towels provided.

Quiet get away.

Had a great place for some of the family to stay as we came for a family reunion of 62 at the Trinity River Farm. Loved dipping in the pool in the evening after a trip down the river.

Willow creek house

Property was very clean, and neighborhood was extremely quiet. Booked this house due to my child was getting married in willow creek. The house was also well maintained. Great place to stay.

Great family get away

Set up is terrific for a family stay. The backyard is great. Eating breakfast in the gazebo, hanging out by the pool. Watching the deer from the front porch swing eat apples. Great little house.

Grandson Catch Up

Really great stay in Willow Creek close to my daughter’s family. The house was great with lots of entertaining potential. We had family over for swims, corn hole and ping pong…relaxed poolside and ate outside every night under the canopy. Super easy access to town and the river for walks and restaurants. The house was perfect!

Graduation gift

For sixth grade graduation our grandson wanted to come to Willow Creek to visit the Bigfoot museum and hike the Patterson Gimlin film site. We also brought our high school graduate to visit the coast and redwoods. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed our stay.

Stay for our employees

I booked this rental for our employees who had a project in the area. It worked our great for them. This is the third time we have rented this house and we will do it again if the opportunity presents itself. Heather is a great host and communicator.

Nice home base

Great location for hiking, close to Trinity River, and a short drive to other attractions. We took a day trip to visit the sequoias and have dinner on the coast which was about 1.5 hrs to the avenue of giants and about 1 hour to the coast. The pool was great to come back to and refresh after a busy day. Stopped in at Trinity River Farm and scored some ripe cherries and Lingonberries which were a treat. We would definitely stay here again.

Great House-Great Host

I rented this house for our employee's who had a project in the area. They stayed three separate times.The employees were very happy staying here. They said the house had everything they needed and it was very clean. Heather, the host, was great with communications. Everything went smoothly on our end and that makes my job easier. Thank you Heather for hosting our employees.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would poop here again!”

This was one of the best stays I’ve had so far. Heather did a really good job setting up the space. I could feel the love, dedication, and attention to detail as a soon as I walk in. The house felt really warm, welcoming, and cozy. There were little touches everywhere that kept on putting me a smile on my face — the “5-star poop” sign was definitely my favorite. The house was well-stocked and it felt super pup-friendly with a nice, with a well-sized fenced yard. The neighborhood is very secluded, quiet, and it reminded me a lot of the PNW. It’s super easy to get into town and the neighboring towns or National & State parks. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend to any group of friends that want to get their wine on, any couples that want to experience a quiet mountain and beach retreat, or any family that would want to explore the great Californian outdoors. 🏔🏖

Awesome home

This home had everything we needed. The pool was clean and perfect for us to swim around in. The neighborhood was so quiet. The house had games for us to play. Outside had so many wonderful seating options and lounges. I highly recommend this home.

Clean, cozy home

great property for a family vacation. Home was clean. Did have a struggle getting into home with wrong code sent to us, but owner quickly fixed this for us. Family enjoyed ping pong table and cornhole as well as the board games at the house. We went to go to Redwoods. It is about 1-1.5 hr drive to Redwood national park. Overall a great trip. Thank you!

Family Christmas

This was a perfect location to have our family Christmas. We have 2 sons that live just outside of Willow Creek. The worked our great. It had everything we need. We are thinking of coming back out in the summer to visit our boys again. I would definitely stay here again. Awesome place.

Perfect summer getaway!

We loved the home! It is well equipped with all the kitchen gadgets you could need! The beds are super comfortable and the there was more than enough extra blankets and pillows if we needed them. The kids loved the pool and we had a great ping pong tournament in the garage! There is a great natural grocer down the way with plenty of organic foods and snacks. The creek is also just down the rd we enjoyed floating on the river and eating fresh blackberries! Highly recommend.. thank you for letting us stay.

Amazing getaway!

This property is perfectly situated near the redwoods in a quiet town with river access. The home was fully stocked and could easily entertain our party of 6, with plenty of spare beds leftover. They also had an amazing collection of board games, a private pool, and a backyard lounge area that was perfect for cornhole and conversation. Every day, we saw deer eating from the fruit trees across the street, and we were a short drive to amazing beaches and forest hikes. Even though a large fire nearby caused a lot of smoke in the air, we had a great time on our vacation because of the quality of this rental. We look forward to returning to stay here again in the future!

Fantastic stay

Hosts were lovely to work with - very responsive and keep a welcoming, tidy house. Home is exceedingly friendly in decoration and was very well stocked in amenities. It was a great spot to stay with our family and we would happily come again!

Excellent stargazing!

The property is nestled nicely in the mountains, free from city light, making for spectacular stargazing. The variety of outdoor furniture along with the pool and a nice grill makes for excellent hosting opportunities. The owner is very accommodating and pleasant to work with.
