Beautiful Lakefront Cabin on Blue Ridge Lake!

A beautiful lake front cabin with your own private dock!

Our lakefront, two bedroom/one bath cabin has a large covered deck with an outdoor fire place and lots of unique lighting including Edison lights and Hue lights. You will have your own private dock with a water slide for the kids to enjoy. On the lake shore there is a fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows, smores or just enjoying family time! Wood for the fire pit can be purchased locally at many locations in the area.

Our home has an electric reclining couch and love seat and a super comfortable glider-rocker! Our kitchen is well equipped and includes a combination Keurig single serve and drip coffee maker for those early morning quiet times on the deck.

The full bath was recently remodeled and has beautiful subway tile and Brizo fixtures. The Lake levels are managed by TVA throughout the year. We usually have water in our cove from Mid-April through August and sometimes a few weeks into September. When we do not have water in the cove you can still have a lake view and can access the lake from the shoreline. You can easily check lake levels via the TVA website for Blue Ridge Lake.

We include a starter set of paper products ( paper towels and toilet paper), soap and shampoo. We also practice social sharing in our kitchen..."if you have something leave something and if you need something use something". That means salt, pepper, spices, coffee filters, sugar, sweetener, coffee and other items may be there for your use.

Our cabin is a family rental on a quiet cove. Please be aware that this is not a party house and the neighbors will not tolerate parties and loud music.

Beautiful property

Wow! We LOVED this place! The lake was lovely, and having our own dock to swim, kayak, and sun bathe from was wonderful. We will definitely come back to this beautiful cabin.

Fun Getaway

My son and two dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very clean and my son was in love with the slide on the dock. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a great meal and the location was easy to get to by car. I appreciated that my questions were answered timely and that there was so much information provided on the indoor/outdoor workings and for the nearby attractions.

The Perfect Lake House!

Sarah and Frankie were excellent hosts and the house exceeded our expectations. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the awesome outdoor space. The house was also clean, organized and beds were comfy. The kids were so happy to see the waterslide when we arrived. We hope to be back again next year!

Very clean!

If you don't need a lot of space and 1 bathroom is going to work for your group, this is a really great choice for a stay! It's very, very clean and well kept. The host is kind and attentive. Check out Ledford Works for a unique experience with a local blacksmith while you're in the area. We would stay here again. You might want to know there is no table for dining. Kitchen bar seating only. This was probably the best maintained VRBO we've experienced.

Great experience

Thank you Frankie and Sarah! We had a lovely experience at your lake house and so enjoyed the cooler temperatures. The outside deck and Iights are perfect for an evening of wine and cheese and the recliner sofas were wonderful after a long day of sightseeing, shopping and winery hopping. Great beds also and the kitchen had all the things we needed during our stay. Although we didn’t use the dock and swim toys, my kids would have loved them. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay…..thank you for sharing a piece of your world with us!!

Great location

Thank you Frankie and Sarah! What an amazing rental property. Conveniently located to grocery shopping and downtown Blue Ridge. Easily accessible we had a boat and trailer and had no issues parking. Boat ramp is about 10 minutes down the road. Easy walk down to the dock where we spent most of our time. Our Labrador loved jumping off the dock and was able to use the ladder to get back up. The teenagers loved lying out on the water mat. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Can’t wait to come back in the future!

Lazy days on Lake Blue Ridge

This is our 2nd time staying at "Sarah's on the Lake". The house is perfect for the hubby and I, our adult daughters, and our dog. We loved this place so much we stayed again this year and plan to next year as well. The location is perfect. Easy to get to towns all around, boat rental is super close, but the sunsets are what get me every time! Frankie & Sarah have a gem mine with their lake house. The home itself is super clean, very roomy for the family, the deck is awesome to sit and have a glass of wine. We have actually sent friends last November to stay here and they enjoyed every minute they were there. We have enjoyed yet another Burt family vacation. The dock is perfect for swimming, relaxing, hooking your jet ski or boat to it. The yard is huge. Plenty of room for our family pet to run and play. We cannot say enough about this gem in Blue Ridge!

Absolutely WONDERFUL

We cannot express enough to Frankie & Sarah how much we enjoyed their house on the lake. It is located is the perfect spot. The house was big enough for all of us & the dog. Very clean & well maintained. We enjoyed the dock at all hours of the day. There was a meteor shower Wednesday night of our stay & we all sat out there until 2am! The nature sounds around at night are amazing. The back deck overlooking the yard & cove was the perfect spot for a working Mom like me to sit, relax & drink a glass of wine alone. We would definitely rebook this house! Frankie & Sarah were just a phone/text away to answer any questions we had. The Ridgon’s were perfect hosts! Hospitality at its finest! We wish we had another week to stay. The atmosphere, the lake, the mountains, the weather & nature…. All good things must come to an end. Our family had a wonderful get away & are so thankful we found Sarah’s on the Lake! Thank you again! Hope to come back soon!

Excellent location & Beautiful Property and Accommodations

My husband and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary at “Sarah’s on the Lake”. This is a beautiful property, immaculate & clean, updated and full of style! Our entire experience from booking the property to our actual stay was pleasant and easy. Frankie and Sarah have provided an excellent resource guide at the property full of suggestions and directions to local attractions, restaurants and things to see & do. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to booking this property again in the future.

Perfect Getaway!

This was the best rental we have ever found on VRBO! First, Frankie and Sarah are excellent hosts!... they were in contact with us from the moment we booked. They let us know what to expect with lake levels so we weren’t disappointed if it was low. They answered all of my questions very timely when I would ask about something in preparation for the trip and were readily available during the entire trip... (Thank you so much for rescuing us quickly when we locked ourselves out on a very chilly morning!) As for the accommodations... wowzer!... this rental is a dream!... the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, quality cookware, cutlery and cooking utensils... SHARP knives... that was a pleasant surprise as rentals never have sharp knives!! Great to have a full size, clean refrigerator with plenty of room. The living room furniture was top notch... we fell asleep in the reclining couches every night as they were soooo comfortable! The bed in the main room was one of the most comfortable king size beds I have slept in and the bed linens were gorgeous and comfortable as well!... Bath towels were new, soft and extra large, loved that! It was a nice touch to find laminated instructions all over the house so there were no questions as to how things work. Thank goodness cuz the shower is pretty fancy (and technical) and I would have never gotten it working without the instructions. Did not get to use the canoe/kayak or paddleboard as it was too cold and our dog was very weary of the dock as he has never been around water so he would have been very displeased with us if we tried to put him in the canoe. Next trip, as he conquered his fear of the dock by the last evening of our stay! Thank you for the wonderful bottle of wine, that was such a nice treat as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. The cabin was easily accessible and close to everything Blue Ridge has to offer... we can’t wait to return!!

We always wanted a Blue Ridge Lake home and the opportunity finally came along during the Covid-19 Pandemic of 2020. We have put blood sweat and tears into this home to make it inviting to us and our guests. We enjoy the lake the most in the evenings when the water is still and most boats have gone for the day.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Private quiet community that is only 10 minutes to the shopping, eating and entertainment of Downtown Blue Ridge and 20 minutes to the twin cities of McCaysville and Copperhill. Hiking trails are abundant in the area.
