Shady Creek Cabin | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

Perfectly sized vacation rental for a mountain getaway.  Two bedrooms with two bathrooms, new furniture and furnishings (Sept 2020) and new owner. The creek runs around the back of this home and you can hear it if you open the bedroom windows.  Full appliances in kitchen, washer and dryer.  Covered front sitting porch with propane grill.  This home is on one level and has a circular driveway.  You can easily walk to the clubhouse or the pool.  Connestee Falls is known for the peace and quiet you will experience here along with the lakes, 18 hole golf course, tennis courts and hiking trails, there is something for everyone.  DuPont Park is only 10 minutes away by car for waterfall viewing, hiking and world class mountain biking trails.  Also nearby is a produce market that sells seasonal vegatables, local beer and wine selection also.  Book your stay today.  The floor plan is open with two sliding glass doors in the living room and dining areas, the hallway leads to the two bedrooms, the master bed and ensuite on the left and the hall bathroom with tub shower on the right and bedroom with King bed, two side tables with lamps, closet and dresser is just beyond, at the end of the hall.  The wrap around deck has steps down the the creek and easy bike storage underneath the home, with secured locking area.

FOUR NIGHT MINIMUM STAY REQUIRED FOR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.

As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone.  Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable.  Our cleaning crew is local, paid a living wage and are trained so that you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.
Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation with a link to the essential information you need to enjoy your stay like the door code and the directions.  The digital guide book has information on the property and also on the area including restaurants, grocery stores and popular destinations.  Guests can go straight to the property at check-in time.

Loved this small home

Great home and loaction!

This is our second stay at Shady Creek and we just love it! Close to the pool and the lakes, plenty of room, kitchen has everything you need, really the best one we have stayed at! Plan to go back next year before we drop our son off at Camp High Rocks down the road. This trip is one we look forward to all year.

Small cabin excellent location

This was the first property that I rented that was exactly as the pictures in the VRBO ad. The house was perfect for my son and I and our dog.. House was clean and appeared to be newly remodeled. It was close to the golf course, puckleball courts, tennis courts and walking trails. This is the best rental I have ever had.

The check in day the cabin was not ready the property manager accommodated us in a hotel and he was very helpful but it was below my expectation and I’m still waiting for a re-found for the night we couldn’t stay at the cabin Other than that the cabin was really good and we recommend it 100%

Great place for a trip to the mountains

Shady Creek Cabin was perfect for our trip to the mountains. The place was clean, with two king-size comfortable beds. It had a kitchen with all the utensils and dishware one would need to make meals, and the appliances worked perfectly. The collection of local trail maps and guides was just what we needed to help plan our hikes and we saw some spectacular views on those hikes. In addition, the neighborhood itself has some good hikes to local waterfalls. They give you the details when you come in. The property management company was very responsive. They replied to my questions within minutes. I recommend this property and would stay there again.

My stay

The cabin is nice and clean but sparsely decorated with a small couch in living room and 2 dining room chairs. We had to move a bench to dining room so we could eat dinner together. It looks like it has been recently renovated so maybe they aren’t done with furnishings. Everything that they do have is nice and I appreciated a king bed in each room. Nice front porch but no back yard other than the stream behind it so not very good for children. I have wanted to stay at Connestee Falls and there are lots of amenities that we either did not use or were closed for cool weather. It would be more fun in the summer
