Charming house in local stone, located in an old farmyard, authentic and timeless. Cosy and ideal for long winter evenings by the fireplace or summer BBQs. Located in the heart of the charming village of Comblain-Fairon (between Aywaille and Durbuy, near Sy, Xhignesse and its Roman church, Palogne and its medieval castle...). Ideal starting point for hikes. Many possible activities around (kayak, bike, quad, horse riding, etc.).

Lovely, authentic accomodation. Clean but homely and fully equiped with everything you’d need. The outdoor terrace is a great place to make a little fire and hang out and the interior is extremely cozy. The host replies quickly and is very helpful.

Beautiful cottage, lovely hosts

The property was lovely, an old stone farmhouse, fully equipped with everything we needed. Thermostat made sure we were always warm and we also used the burner stove - wonderful! Only thing to note is the steep spiral staircase up to the bedroom, so this property would not be suitable for those with access needs. For us it was perfect.

We stayed in Hamoir for the Belgium grand Prix ...a lovely cottage. Quite remote from shops but very peaceful .

Fantastic cosy and warm experience

The house is a beautiful cared nest, full of facilities for adults and children, making you feel welcome and embraced. Also very nice location . Easy to get in to hikes and walks in the forest. A picturesque experience in an Outum time.

Our hosts made us feel very welcomed and accommodated our dropping our bags and roof top luggage before travelling down from Brussels to Bastogne for a day trip before settling in. Pascal was especially helpful in our planning of our few nights in the area, as well as organising food for New Year's Eve celebrations. The cottage was comfortable and I especially enjoyed a few days without my children (35, 18 and 17) not constantly glued to their devices, as this cozy cottage is made for excellent quality time with loved ones. It would have been especially good if it was not the heart of winter, as we weren't able to properly use the outdoors, other than for our puppy to have a run around. If you are looking for an escape, but still want a bit of Wifi access (just in case!), this is the place for you :)

Beautiful home and surroundings. Would saty again

We loved this place but i will mention a few negatives first. 1. Its cold. The heating does not work despite strictly following instructions of only pressing +/-. The boiler did seem to try but i think the pressure needs topping up as nothing circulated and the pipes never got above luke warm by the boiler. We tried the fire but we wasnt sure how you control the air flow and. Entilation so it was hard to keep the fire going. 2. Washing machine does not work as it has a fault code F21. I belive this is a blockage. However, we had put our clothes in and tipped in washing liquid over the clothes so we had to spend an hour washing them in the bath and lobger wringing them out and trying to dry. Had we known the fault prior we would have left it alone. 3. There is no TV as advertised. Nor.ally not a major issue but i had plans to watch a big football match and brought the equipment with me to hook up to a TV to watch. There was no TV so i missed the game. 4. I dont think the sheets had been washed on the beds and the crockery and cutlery was not clean. Not the owners fault as i think he pays someone to clean and i dont think they are doing it properly or thoroughly. 5. Notnowners fault but some moron with a black car from the NL with a trailor with bicycles on and blocked the entrance to the courtyard so we had to unload in the rain at night from theroad, good stuff. The negatives are small and we absolutely loved the house & location. So many nice touches

Wasservice was 'out of order', vaatwasser werkte onvoldoende.Douche heeft lekker warm water met stevige straal. We hebben zeker genoten van de knusse accommodatie in deze nieuwjaarsmidweek. Toegankelijkheid en wegdek rondom de accommodatie is wel 'middeleeuws'.

Wir sind sehr erstaunt über die sehr guten Bewertungen. Die Fotos sind auf jeden Fall alt, mittlerweile ist einiges vergammelt. Was uns wahnsinnig gestört hat ist der marode Zustand, es gehen zwei Herdplatten nicht, wohl seit über einem Jahr, die Dunstabzugshaube geht nicht, die Waschmaschine schimmelt, die Spülmaschine leistet einen sehr eingeschränkten Dienst und das Backrohr will auch nicht. Im oberen Bad hat es nach Benutzung der Badewanne nach Brackwasser gestunken.Wir hatten auch immer das Gefühl es kommen gleich die Besitzer, da soviel private Sachen überall verteilt sind.Einige Einrichtungsgegenstände haben ganz gefehlt, z.B. das TV.

We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad! Het huis is ruimer dan op de foto’s en er is meer dan genoeg speelgoed, spelletjes enz aanwezig. De veranda buiten is ideaal, we hebben elke avond buiten gegeten. Er is een speeltuin achter de achtertuin en er zijn in de buurt veel leuke dingen te doen! Adventure valley en ninglinspo vallei waren de hoogtepunten van onze vakantie. De communicatie met Pascal was heel prettig, net als met de andere mensen die op de boerderij wonen. Echt een verrassende aanrader!

Für uns hat die Unterkunft gut gepasst. Schade fanden wir aber, dass nur 2 der 4 Herdplatten funktionieren. Einige Funktionen des Backofens sowie die Dunstabzughaube funktionieren auch nicht. Es gibt auch sehr wenige Tassen.Für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist das alles etwas umständlich und es sollte evtl. im Onlineinserat erwähnt werden, denn wir haben den Eindruck, dass es eine Art Dauerzustand ist. Unseren Kindern hat es dennoch sehr gut gefallen, unser kleinster durfte sogar ein Plüschtier mitnehmen, das fanden wir sehr freundlich.

Knus en gezellig

Wij vonden het een gezellig huisje in een authentieke boerderij. Leuk om hier een aantal dagen te verblijven samen met ons gezin van 3 kinderen. Er is veel speelgoed en een leuke speeltuin op kleine afstand van de achtertuin. Wat verbeterpunten: 2 van de 4 pitten van de kookplaat werkten niet en de wasmachine maakt een enorme herrie. Maar verder was alles netjes schoon en leuk ingericht.

Heel fijn huis in een mooie omgeving!

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Mooi, leuk ingericht huisje in een karakeristiek hofje. De prachtige omgeving leende zich goed voor verschillende uitstapjes (wandelingen, bezoekje aan de grotten, kajakken, electrisch MTB-en).
