Located in one of just two low-rise oceanfront buildings at Sea Colony! Overlook the surf and sand from this designer furnished second floor 2-bedroom, 2-bath oceanfront condo in Brandywine Garden Apartments, featuring an oceanfront balcony with spectacular view, living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen (with granite countertops), full hallway bathroom and two bedrooms, including the primary suite. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. 3 flat-screen TVs, Blu-ray, DVD, board games, Wifi. Notes: This Sea Colony vacation rental is on the second floor and accessible by stairs only. This building does not feature an elevator. Bedrooms are carpeted but main living area has tiled flooring. HVAC & hot water heater (2017).

2C Brandywine Garden

This condo felt welcoming from the moment my family and I walked in. We enjoyed the atmosphere, decor, dimmers, mattresses were comfortable, bathrooms provided great accommodations. We will certainly be rebooking! The most stunning part is this view on the patio, we adored the porch furniture and all of our mornings waking up with a view of our beloved Sea Colony Beach.

Beautiful condo with a spectacular view.

This condo impressed us! The decor is beautiful, and the space was well-appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking, from appliances to dishes, cookware, and utensils. The beds and seating were comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay. The balcony view was simply spectacular, offering a perfect spot to enjoy the scenery. While the deep soaking tubs might be a challenge for guests with mobility limitations, they are a luxurious indulgence for those who can easily access them. I would definately book a stay in this condo again!

Comfortable Condo, Great View

Comfortable and spacious condo with well stocked kitchen. Gorgeous view of ocean. Clean and nicely decorated. Bring your own hair dryer. The one in the unit does not get hot. Also bring cleaning supplies and kitchen towels if you like to be tidy. None in unit. Otherwise, lovely unit that we would happily rent again.

Recent visitor

As I stated above, the unit is old and tired. The view and location are amazing, but that does not make up for the interior. The outdoor furniture is great. The inside need a complete overhaul, and a deep cleaning. We asked about the cleanliness upon booking and we were told that since it’s off season, we can expect a deep cleaned unit. This was not the case. Years of cakes on dust, mold and old dirty furniture greeted us upon arrival. I appreciate the time a manager took to discuss all of this us. But Vacasa, please do better. We have been visiting for years, and lack of cleanliness is a recurring theme throughout the years.

Headaches & Disappointment - Unit with Lots of Potential

We loved the furniture on the deck facing the ocean. Loved the high ceilings and the modern appliances and marble countertops. -- Overpaid for what we received & headaches along the way -- See the details of what we didn't love that are posted above. --- The lighting in the unit is dim. --- Strongly recommend that you add high hat lighting in the living room and throughout the unit. It will make such a difference and is a great investment. Owners: Please invest in some new couches and chairs for the living room area. This will go a long way in keeping future guests from not having lower back pain.

Needs attention

This condo has a nice floor plan but is old and tired and wasn’t very clean upon arrival. Vacasa did send a person to reclean the condo and she did a nice job. But there are deep cleaning issues needing to be addressed. The glowing pictures are deceiving. The owner did a fine job decorating years ago but it’s due for a freshening. Furniture is worn. It no longer matches the rent it requires. The patio furniture was the best furniture in the unit. Nice pieces. If you rent and just care about the view this place has it. We enjoyed that the most!

Great view…. Lousy furniture!

The unit was fine. The beds were ok. The bathrooms were good ( the tubs are deep and not that easy for our older bones to climb over ). The kitchen was adequate- we didn’t plan on doing a lot of cooking. The view from the deck is AMAZING and the deck furniture is quality!!! The living room furniture , on the other hand, was AWFUL. The couch ( did it used to be green?) cushions have no support anymore. You sink in deep and it’s lumpy! I had read the reviews and other people had mentioned the couch. I should have believed them! OWNERS PLEASE replace the couch. If there had been a comfortable spot to sit inside we’d have probably rented it again for next year. Too bad because the view is great! PS. You have to be able to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to this unit. No elevator access- pack light, or be sure you have strong backs!

Great view... the unit is not clean

While we absolutely loved the view from this unit, it was immediately very clear that the cleaning done was surface cleaning. We called to ask for it to be cleaned again upon arrival and when the crew showed up, they were rushed and not interested in doing any sort or deep cleaning. There was dust on every surface, ceiling fans and every surface and visible dust buildup. The headboards and lamp shades were clearly untouched in years. The sliding door to the patio had so much dust and dirt by the tracks it was disgusting. This unit needs ac major deep cleaning. The master bathtub clogged from the first use and even after it was serviced it did not drain. Unfortunately we would not book this unit again.

Great view and comfy beds

This apartment was perfectly located! Its near the stair to the parking, very close to the pool and beach access. The view from the balcony is spectacular! The beds are quite comfortable! Only small nag is that you really sink deep into the couch, but it is great to lay on! Highly recommend this unit!!

Amazing Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property and I’d love to share a bit about our experience. This was our second year renting from Sea Colony and we feel lucky to have grabbed this condo! I traveled with my husband and our young son and the location and views from this condo are incredible. You have unobstructed views of the ocean and you’re a quick walk to one of the Sea Colony pools and beach access. Please note that this second floor condo is only accessible via stairs. We were concerned about that with our young son and all of our belongings, but it wasn’t bad at all. The parking spot is under the building and right next to the stairs to lead up to the unit. That was helpful when unloading and loading up the car. When we arrived to the condo, the condo was very clean and has great tropical decor. The condo was very spacious for our little family. The master bedroom was huge and the bed was comfortable. The second bedroom had two larger beds that seemed comfortable too. The balcony had beautiful views and great furniture to sit, eat, and enjoy! We hope to make a yearly tradition down to Bethany Beach and hope this condo is available for our family again!

Sea Colony

The property was clean and well landscaped. The location was within a short walking distance of the beach, the nearest pool (though it was closed because we were offseason), and the car. The beach views were wonderful! Downtown shops and restaurants were only blocks away.

Perfect Condo on the Beach Close to everything- Safe, Clean, Relaxing

We loved Sea Colony and would definitely go back. The condo was clean and had everything you would need. A few little maintenance issues to be expected with a rental (tub drain was very slow, toaster did not work). The resort was amazing. Very well staffed, very safe and all the employees were friendly. From our condo we were less than 2 minutes to the pool, beach or our car. I loved that we could keep our beach chairs, umbrella and toys in our car (because it was so close) to grab before we went to the beach. The lifeguards were OUTSTANDING. They took their job seriously and I loved have a few more eyes on my kids in the water. From the resort there were great restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend Sea Colony to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing beach vacation.

Beach ⛱ Birthday

This is the 2nd time I stayed at Sea Colony, and it did not disappoint. The unit we stayed in was oceanfront, which was wonderful. It was clean and spacious, and I really enjoyed just sitting out in the balcony with my coffee in the morning watching the waves. We took advantage of the pools and the hot tub. All the amenities were nice and clean. The life guard staff was super great ! A friend came to visit me and she hurt her knee in the ocean. They were so attentive and helpful. I feel they went out of there way to transport her and make her comfortable!

Nice but a little dirty

Property was nice but not cleaned very well. Hair and dirt was on the floor and carpets. There was a vacuum in the property that I would have used, however if only had one wheel. Parking is extremely tight underneath the building. Location was nice though.

Great Location on the Beach / Amazing Views

My wife and I spent a week at this location in the Sea Colony. Though we have been coming to Bethany Beach for 10 years, this was our first experience at the Sea Colony. The location was great. The condo is in one of the low rise (two story) buildings right in front of Sea Colony. It is right by the tennis courts and a pool. It is literally a 30 second walk to the beach. The parking spot is right below the unit, so its easy to leave sandy items in your car so you don't have to worry about bringing sand into the unit. Once on the beach, they have folks you can rent chairs from, as well as umbrellas, tables, loungers, etc. The actual condo was very large, and can easily sleep 6 people (or more with children). The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated relatively recently, or at least more recently than some of the other units we considered. The balcony was awesome and a very pleasant place to relax once the sun went down. The only complaint we had was the TV in the master bedroom did not work and the TV in the living area was a bit small. We, however, did not call management regarding the bedroom TV as we were rarely in the condo, so I am sure that is something they will easily fix. The condo is probably about a mile walk to downtown Bethany Beach, but its also an easy 5 minute drive. You are also about 5-10 minute walk to CVS, Walgreens, and a couple cute outdoor restaurants called Bethany Boathouse and Mickey's Crab House. Overall, excellent stay and excellent value. If you want to get right on the beach and don't want a house that sleeps 15 people, this is the right choice for you.
