This hidden gem on Beautiful Lake Henry is within walking distance to downtown Alexandria, MN where you will find boutiques, antiques, and a candy shop. The recently updated 3 bedrooms, 2 baths has the feel of home while on vacation. Note this home sleeps 9- with two queens, one twin, one double, and one sleeper sofa. When you are not relaxing or enjoying Lake Henry, be sure to explore the bike trails, local and state parks, Big Ole and so much more.

Great cabin

Enjoyed our stay here! The cabin has all the amenities you could need for the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Great location near downtown Alexandria close to restaurants and shops.

Great location with plenty of room

The house was great for a gathering of friends and family. Walkable to town (if you're a walker). Kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. Location on lake is pretty, but we didn't have beach weather.Adult beds were comfortable. Bunk bed, not the greatest for adults, but work great for kids.Would certainly stay again

Peaceful getaway

This property was lovely! Cute place with everything we needed and more. Beautiful backyard right on the lake. Fire pit was an added bonus and perfect for making s’mores with the family!

Living room may have a leak from roof. Brownish spot on ceiling from ceiling fan towards lake. When raining hard we could see that spot was a little darker. 2 queen beds could use new mattresses. Great location.. Had a good time..

We enjoyed this property very much

This house was perfect for our visit to see my husband's family. We had all 3 of our adult children with us and the house had enough space for all of us to have a relaxing, wonderful vacation. I thought all the unique decorations added to the beauty of the house. Everything about the house was modern and up to date. The beds were comfortable with great sheets. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Tranquillity

A perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet peaceful lake. Kayaking. Biking. Go for a walk. It was everything we were looking for. We will definitely be back.

The Lakeside Retreat is great! Cleanliness is my highest priority and it was clean! It had everything we needed and was located on such a sweet spot. The pictures do not due is justice as the space is very functional and conducive for gathering and doing different activities. We would definitely return.

Everything was awesome. Kitchen was fully stocked no need to buy staples such as flour sugar etc, great kitchen supplies and pots pans and plenty of dishes. Bathroom towels plush and l plenty of towels. Loved having a washer and dryer. 5 rating.

Well kept house on the lake with short dock. Lots of space nice deck with grill. . The kitchen is well stocked. Wonderful time at the fire pit roasting marshmallows. Great Master bedroom with tv and bathroom and the other two rooms share another bathroom. Real quiet. I'd go back again!

Clean, Cozy and truly well appointed home

We had a wonderful time. The house was impeccable and all appliances were updated, clean and in great shape. The furniture was well appointed and it was great to see all of the antiques and newtiques so well arranged. Beds were comforable and the deck furniture was easy to access and very nice. Brand new grill and coffee pot! Lots of goodines in the kitchen and a dish or pan for every thing. Godo beds, beautiful, very nice linens. The kitchen was equip with anything we could think of...except large trash bags. No soap in the shower, and no bath matt. We loved sitting down by the fire pit. The lake was beautiful and the dock was expanded to set chairs on the end. The only thing missing was water toys. We wish the home would have offered floaty toys for adults, paddle boards, or kayaks. We also would have appreciated a week removal or raking in the water off the dock before arrival. There were tons of weeks off the dock.

Vacation on the Lake

We could not have asked for a better location. We were met with Josh and the communication was excellent. This is the cleanest best kept VRBO that we have stayed in. We will certainly return.

We had a great time! The house was clean and well stocked. Close enough to downtown Alexandria that you can walk down and do the shops. The Copper Trail Brewery is fantastic. Spent time fishing on the lakes and had enough for a fish fry. The house has a ramp so we were able to have my dad out who needs a walker. Neighborhood was quiet even though you are close to town. Just a great experience all the way around.

Beautiful lakeside property

The house was very nice and comfortable. We had a lot of fun fishing off the dock as well as relaxing by the fire pit overlooking the lake. Host was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful lake side property

Beautiful home. Well furnished with everything you need. Very well equipped kitchen. Loved the fire pit and the provided firewood. Drank my coffee on the back deck each morning, watched the sunrise and listened to the loons!

Home on Lake Henry

The house was wonderful. We were surprised by what was furnished. Cupboards were stocked with nice dishes and cooking utensils, also some spices and grocery staples. We did not bring our pontoon with as we didn’t know what the dock was like. This was a good move as the dock isn’t strong enough to support a large boat, also only one boat landing on Lake. Tha deck and fire pit were very nice.
