Espectacular Vista-Tranquilo- Acceso a Rivieras Italianas y Francesas

Paraisette es una villa de reciente construcción en estilo tradicional provenzal situada en las colinas frente a Menton. Más singularmente, cada habitación de la villa ofrece una vista espectacular de la "vieille ville" (ciudad vieja) de Menton, de la costa y el Mediterráneo. Se ha construido para proporcionar comodidad y relajación, al tiempo que conserva algunas características del típico "líbano" (casa de campo tradicional) que alguna vez fue. Bonificación especial: disfrutará del mismo magnífico escenario que el Mirazur, recientemente coronado como "Mejor restaurante del mundo"

Hay una cocina moderna completa. Dos master suites tienen su propio baño y amplias terrazas privadas, una tercera también tiene su propio baño y se abre a un jardín parcialmente plantado. El jardín incluye plantas y árboles semitropicales (mimosas, naranjos y palmeras, olivos, hibiscos, etc.) que no podrían sobrevivir sin el maravilloso clima de Menton.

Desde el estacionamiento cubierto para dos autos, unos 30 sencillos pasos lo llevan a la casa. El comedor cubierto al aire libre con su barbacoa de leña permite comer al aire libre durante casi todo el año.

Todas las habitaciones están conectadas por escaleras, pero una de las habitaciones también tiene acceso separado, lo que proporciona una situación ideal para, por ejemplo, una familia y otra pareja.

La Villa es ideal para disfrutar de actividades en la playa, los extraordinarios jardines de Menton y sus alrededores, así como muchos eventos culturales como museos de arte, galerías y conciertos. Además del Mirazur, hay muchos restaurantes excelentes. Unos minutos en coche lo llevarán a todos los sitios de las Rivieras francesa e italiana. También se presta a la relajación tranquila.

La villa está a unos 2-3 minutos de las playas ya 5 km de la ciudad de Menton. Unos minutos más en coche lo llevarán a Italia (Bordighera y San Remo) o a Montecarlo, Mónaco, Niza, Cannes y otros lugares de la Costa Azul.

Wonderful Côte D’Azur Villa

Wonderful and spacious villa with incredible views of beautiful Menton. Close to Italy and Nice, easy to drive or use train. Villa was clean and our host was very accommodating. Couldn’t find a better vacation home in the south of France than this one!

We loved this property. The views are spectacular and had enough space for 6 of us plus dog to relax and enjoy our holiday in comfort. We didn’t use the car at all but walked into Menton via the old town and also caught the train to Monaco and Eze. It’s quite a hike back to the property but if you don’t want to walk, then taxis will take you back. It was lovely to come back to the property after a full day out and enjoy an aperitif on the various terraces.

Fabulous Time in Menton

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Menton. It has a wonderful view and is terrific to enjoy sunsets and sunrises over the City Center and the Mediterranean. It is a fair distance up the hill from the City Center itself, so you definitely would want a car, but the roads are good and the property is very easy to get to. We were there during a heat wave, so while the one master bedroom is pleasantly air conditioned, the other bedrooms get fairly hot. That would be my only suggestion for the owner is to add more fans and/or air conditioning units.

Thank you for your review, we are glad you liked the Villa. You no doubt realize that the current heat wave is quite unusual, in fact I don't think it ever happened before to that extent and duration. Usually, the evening breeze was enough to cool things up and make you want to be outside... Anyway we have bought a "air mover" and we are getting a portable A/C device for the rooms upstarirs. A previous renter left the following comment in our Livre d'Or: May 19-June 2, 2007 Dear Francois and Family, The end of out two weeks is drawing to a close but we wish we could continue...Would you believe this our first trip to Europe?!! The narrow winding roads frightened me at firrst but thankfully my husband is from the Philippines and is accustomed to this kind of terrain. Soon I relaxed and REALLY enjoyed the view, those winding roads lulling me to sleep on our journey home from neighboring villages of Cote d'Azur.The Monaco Grand Prix was "hair raising"...absolutely thrilling.I hope you will attend some day. It was wonderful to realize that I made such a sound decision opting for a Villa instead of a Hotel. After my experience here, I do not ever see choosing a Hotel over a "home" for a family vacation. Menton is spectacular. All of the Cote d'Azur is amazing and we are convinced that you could not get a bad meal even if you tried.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le logement est magnifique trois vrais chambres indépendantes dotées d'excellentes literies. Je ne parle pas des vues splendides dont on a peu profiter depuis trois grandes terrases équipes de tables et chaises. Nous nous sommes glissé dans le jacuzzi, reparateur de nos différentes randonnées alentours. Bref, un grand merci de nous avoir permis de visiter Menton dans d'aussi bonnes conditions d'hébergement, nous n'aurions pas reve mieux.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, man fühlte sich gleich willkommen. Das Haus liegt sehr schön im Hang mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und Menton. Es ist sehr großzügig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es fehlt einem an nichts. Der Weg nach Menton ist ein schöner Spaziergang, der Aufstieg zum Haus ein gutes Training. Mit Kindern oder gesundheitlichen Einschränkungen ist ein Auto ratsam. Parkplätze gibt es in Menton ausreichend. Die Stadt und die Umgebung bieten viele interessante Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten. François ist ein toller Gastgeber und versorgte uns mit ausreichendem Infomaterial. Ein perfekter Aufenthalt, vielen Dank!

Belle villa avec une magnifique vue !

La villa Paraisette est idéalement située à Menton. La vue sur la vieille ville de Menton et sur la Méditerranée est juste incroyable ! La villa est grande, très propre et fonctionnelle. Nous avons largement profité de la terrasse couverte pour tous les repas, accompagnés du chant des cigales. Présents au moment du 14 juillet, nous avions une vue imprenable sur les feux d'artifice de Menton et de Roquebrune. Les places de Menton et la vieille ville sont tout près. Il est même possible d'aller à pied à la gare de Menton Garavan pour prendre le train et aller à Monaco par exemple. Nous conseillons vivement cette villa !

Dans l'ensemble, nous avons trouvé la maison conforme à la description. Ce qui n'est pas mentionné dans la description: Le jardin est très petit. Il y a peu d'espace pour que les enfants puissent jouer dehors. Pour les personnes âgées, l'accès depuis le parking à la maison est plutôt difficile. Il s'agit de trois escaliers différents avec un total de 40 marches, qui sont également de différentes hauteurs et largeurs. Au lieu d’une main courante solide, un escalier est doté d’une corde qui court le long des marches.

Jolie maison avec vue fantastique.

Nous avons eu un bon temps à La Paraisette. La maison est bien équipée, propre et de bon gout.. La vue de Menton et du port est fantastique. L’accès est un peu difficile pour les personnes handicapées. Une voiture est très recommandée, car la maison se trouve en dehors de Menton. Communication et check-in facile et sans probleme. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Weit genug weg für Entspannung nah genug dran für Abwechslung.

Komfortables und großzügig gestaltetes Haus, prima geeignet für 2-3 Parteien, die gemeinsam verreisen. Blick übers Meer ist toll und Frühstück auf der Terrasse war unser Lieblingsteil des Tages. Man ist schnell mitten im Trubel, kann aber mit Ruhe und Abstand den Sommer genießen.

"Un petit paradis"

My daughter , some friends and I had once again the pleasure of staying at " Villa Paraisette " for few days.I want to say that we discover some new, very pleasant features evrey time. For once, we felt like cooking and we were delighted to see that, among the several beautiful books in the living room, the was a couple of cookbooks dedicated to food in Provence, so we were able to eat like locals .. Also, we had a personnal problem which Arnaud, the housekeeper manager always very aavailable helped us solve. As always, we were sorry to leave.

Villa Paraisette off season: a most enjoyable experience

My daughter and I went back to Villa Paraisette for a week last October . It was our second visit and it was a most enjoyable experience . First at all, Menton off season is quite pleasant . No line waiting in restaurants , shop owners are glad to see you . The sun is still warm . At the villa , Arnaud , the house keeper is very nice and ready to help us in case of problem : he lives nearby . The villa is very welcoming , It had been scrupulously cleaned and sanitized , a useful precaution in these time of pandemics . I hope very much to be able to come back .

Großzügige Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der großzügigen Villa sehr genossen. Die Villa hat eine gut ausgestattete Küche, drei Etagen, mit jeweils einem Balkon und einen Grill Bereich neben der Terrasse. Zudem einen privaten Jacuzzi und 3 moderen Bäder. Die Lage ist ruhig und am Rand von Menton. Zu Fuß kann man in ca. 30 Minuten in die Innenstadt gehen. Beim Rückweg hat man direkt sein Fitness Programm absolviert, da die Villa auf 180 Höhe Meter liegt. Mit dem Auto kann man jedoch auch in die Stadt fahren. Es gibt Private Parkplätze für das Auto. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit

Endroit somptueux

Tout était parfait, Propriétaire très accueillant et disponible. Très belle villa avec une vue exceptionnelle sur Menton. De grands espaces où chacun peut avoir son intimité et une grande terrasse ombragée pour se retrouver face à la mer. On y est "comme à la maison" en particulier cuisine très bien équipée, accueil VIP avec lits faits, linges de toilettes à disposition. SPA appréciable. Très bien située pour découvrir la région. Un grand merci. On y reviendrait avec plaisir.

Spectacular view and beautiful house

We stayed at the "Villa Paraîsette "for 2 weeks and we liked very much . It'very nice , clean and nicely furnished , surrounded by a well kept garden and a Jacuzzi.The 3 bed rooms and 3 1/2 baths are perfect for a small group or a family with children . they have their own panoramic balcony , and their own individual access . Bedding is recent . The kitchen is well equiped , allowing preparations of all types , even local provencal dishes , if you wish . The BBQ is conveniently located just outside the kitchen under the veranda . Should you have time and willingness to read, you have at your disposal an extensive library with many books in english, french, italian, bound to please to everybody from 4 to 94 years .Some deals with the Riviera . Hygiene is impeccable ( gel hydroalccolique ; masks FFC, désinfection products ... ) Obviously , the owners love their house and you can feel it . We liked too !

Excellent location, stunning views!!!! Quiet neighborhood and very charming home!

I am so sorry, I am late to write a review but wanted to say thank for sharing your home with us. It is absolutely fantastic. The location was great. We loved the view from the kitchen and master bedroom terrace. We must have taken a ton of pictures of the old town from the terrace. We had dinner outside on the patio every night. The location was great because it provides an easy access to the Italian and French side. Grocery shopping in the nearby village of Latte in Italy was very convenient convenient (a 5 minute drive from the house). The public beach downtown Menton was also only 5 minutes away in the other direction with easy parking available (in late August/early September). The kitchen was fully stocked and Francois was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries. The only downside I could point out is that the windows do not have screens and there were quite a few mosquitos roaming around during our stay. We tried the sprays but they didn't work all that well. Otherwise, everything about this charming home was perfect. It is rustic but very comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook and relax. It is a great value and I highly recommended to anyone who wants to explore the French Riviera. The house is away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas, yet a short drive to restaurants and old town Menton. It is less than a 10-minute drive to Monte Carlo, which is a great place to visit. We loved our vacation and would stay at this house again in the future. Thank you, Francois, for being such a good host. You made our stay very pleasant. One more thing to add is that the house is provides privacy for multiple couples as two of the bedroom suites can be accessed from the outside and the lay out of the home is such that you have plenty of space to spread out. And a quick word of caution, if you are not used to driving in France, the street signage is not particularly good so we had a tough time locating the house initially. You can have the best mapquest or google instructions, but they are not particularly helpful when the street signs are sparce. There were no street signs at every intersection like you'd normally have in most places in the US and not enough advance notice of streets coming up, so watch out for that as you navigate your way around, and by all means enjoy your stay at the lovely/picturesque town of Menton!!!

We had a terrific two wee...

We had a terrific two week stay in July at the villa. Our host provided most helpful information about the villa and the area. He was responsive to any questions or concerns. The setting of the villa is stunning, a panoramic view we will always remember. The villa is large and well furnished and equipped. It is close to town but removed enough so that you feel away from the at times crowded, busy pace of Cote D'Azur in high season. The hot tub was enjoyable. We used the wood burning oven to cook some memorable seafood meals. the villa is also well priced compared to others in the area we researched. A bonus for us is that our son and his French bulldog could stay with us when they were visiting from Berlin. Overall we would recommend staying at the Villa Paraisette for those wanting an excellent location, comfort and unforgettable vista. Merci bien Francois. John and Cathy, Hamilton, Ontario

The vista from Villa Par...

The vista from Villa Paraisette is breathtaking and being situated near straddling the French-Italian border offers the cultures and cuisines of both countries.Being "foodies",we chose to by-pass the excellent local restaurants this time and cooked-in every night in the well equipped kitchen and barbecue.Shopping at the Supermercato in the small Italian town of Latte (a ten minute drive from the villa)yielded freshly made pasta and antipasti as well as local garden fresh produce. Having free and handy internet access is a real bonus.The villa is perfect for families or 3 couples because the 3 bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms have a good measure of individual privacy.We stayed at the villa in February and were comfortable sitting on the terrace in light sweaters which we quickly doffed after several minutes in the Riviera sun.Of the five French properties we've previously rented, Villa Paraisette is,by far,our favorite. We hope to return several times.

François was born in Switzerland, but was brought to Menton 12 days after birth to be baptized at the Saint Michel basilica. Ever since he considers Menton and the Villa his second home. He now lives in Paris, but tries to escape two or three times a year to rewind at Paraisette, even for a few days.

This property has belonged to my family for many years, but it was just a place where people woulg go, perhaps on Sunday noon to have some pastis and a bite to eat. There was no road: in order to get there you had to walk straight up, avoiding slippery stones and thorny bushes. Once up there, you had better have your own food and drink. There was no water, no electricity and... no neighbors. But of course the view was there, together with the breeze and the silence (unless the cicadas were in full swing).
Then in the late 60's a road was built which, by pure coincidence went exactly past the property. We therefore found an architect who, step by step built the property you can enjoy today.

One of the features of Paraisette is that it is of course located on the Côte d'Azur with all the beautiful and glamorous amenities associated with the area. It is also very close to Liguria, an interesting region with worthwhile sights, cuisine and wines. We very much encourage our guests to explore that little known corner of Italy. But first and foremost, a stay at the Villa will allow you to savor the charm of Menton. Once one of the most glamorous spots of Europe, Menton was somewhat passed by the huge tourist developments of the Cote d'Azur in the 50's and 60's. Things are changing now, but, as you will look at the scenery of the old town from Paraisette or explore the fabulous gardens and Villas in and around Menton, you will still get a feeling of how it was many years ago.
