A Beautiful and Peaceful Mountain Getaway!We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin has such a unique, vintage charm that makes it feel warm and inviting. The property itself is absolutely stunning, and there's something incredibly peaceful about relaxing while listening to the river flowing nearby.The kids had a blast playing in the river and fishing, while one of our favorite moments was simply sitting on the swing, watching the sunset, and taking in the beautiful surroundings.The cabin is very well furnished, thoughtfully maintained, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made the entire experience even better.The location is perfect! You're close to Waynesville, with easy access to great fishing, hiking trails, waterfalls, and everything the mountains have to offer, yet the property feels wonderfully peaceful and secluded.This place is truly a gem, and we would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommend!

This was better than anything I could've imagined. Such a beautiful, peaceful property, the sound of the river was so relaxing... The house was cozy and inviting, very well stocked with kitchen supplies, and was overall just a really nice place to get away for a few days. My dog loved running off leash in the huge yard and playing in the water. It was a great property with a fantastic host so if you need a little R&R, book this place - you won't be disappointed. Made me want to come back before we even left.

This was an incredible accommodation. A beautiful comfortable home, an amazing beautiful yard and property. The host was very friendly and helpful. The WiFi and tv were great. 5 stars.

We had an amazing stay for a week. It was a very beautiful and cozy home next to a smaller creek that lead into a bigger Creek. The sounds of the creek were super relaxing. There were clear skies during our stay which made it even more enjoyable. My kids absolutely loved being able to play in both creeks and enjoyed using the toys that were available for creek play. It was only a short distance from the grocery store, gas station, and restaurants. The house was very spacious and had everything needed for our stay. Extremely comfy beds and nice spacious rooms. We absolutely loved it there and our family will definitely be adding it to the list of places to visit again! I definitely recommend staying here especially if you have children. The bigger Creek was about a foot and a half deep during our stay and was perfect for my 4 year old and 2 year old. There also was decent fishing in the bigger Creek. The 4 AC units kept the house cool during the day and warm during the cool nights. Definitely recommend staying here.

Host was very kind about our dogs, which we greatly appreciated. If the interior had been updated, I would have given 5 stars. The positioning of the kitchen cabinets really closes off the mail living area. But great stay overall!

We appreciate your positive feedback and glad you enjoyed your stay here. We strive to make continual improvements and did recently update the kitchen countertops and appliances. The cabinets are original and made from very unique wormy chestnut wood so chose to refinish and maintain. We feel existing layout of kitchen, dining and living areas are still very open, cozy and comfortable. We hope you’ll visit again in the future!

This comfy and welcoming home is sitting on an idyllic property with views of the Pidgeon river on the front of the house and a babbling brook on the side of the house. If you need peace and relaxation, you need to stay at this house! It was wonderful and the hosts are super nice!!!

Mill Run vacation

Our stay at Mill Run was exceptional! The cabin itself is so welcoming and the grounds are beautiful. Loved hearing the rushing water as well as the spacious view from the deck. Definitely a vacation spot to return to again.

Beautiful, charming older home with gorgeous view of the mountains as well as a creek running through the property. Can only imagine how beautiful it is in the spring or fall. Fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and even spices for cooking. Most pet friendly place we have stayed with a dog bed and dishes available for use. We had a problem with our email and did not receive the welcome email but the host provided the information we needed. Would love to visit again.

Peaceful getaway

We lived our stay here. There was plenty of room for my family of 4 and it was ckeab, comfortable, quiet, and situated near lots of hiking trails - and a short drive to Asheville. We would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Getaway!

This prosperity was very cool and a short drive to Asheville. Everything was great and the owners were very welcoming! We would definitely rent this place again.
