Location, location! Extremely spacious, 3 level cabin!! Our charming renovated cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, with a refrigerator, oven, cooktop stove, microwave, coffee maker. There are 2 bedrooms with 3 comfortable full sized beds, a sofa bed, 1 bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a living room with plenty of space for blow up mattresses (2 available). It has a wood burning stove but does have a heating/AC minisplit. There are toys, games, corn hole, puzzles, reading books and coloring books available. The cabin also comes with WiFi and a Smart TV. There is a spacious outdoor area to soak in some sun, a charcoal BBQ, smokeless fire pit, plenty of room to play various outdoor games and a great front area for some snow/sledding fun!!
It’s a 5 minute walk from restaurants and the town market, just 5 minutes from Shaver Lake and 25 miles to China Peak!!!! Corporate long term rental available!
~During the snow season the driveway is plowed. Please remember to always bring chains.

Perfect 2-night Getaway

Just what we needed for 2 nights! Only ate one meal "out" - we walked to town (close enough to walk). Host was very good at getting right back with any questions I had.

I always get lost, but ppl around were very kind to help. Our stay was to reminisce about my husband that passed in June 2024 and get moving with life and enjoy the blessings i have with my family.. Amazing Cabin

The process was easy , the cabin was beautiful and well kept. The host was awesome and even gave us Christmas gifts. The kids had a blast and they are already asking to go back. I will book again. One of the most beautiful places.

My day was good. Everything was clean. The kids loved it. My only issue was having to wait up until 4 PM exactly to get a code to get in. I understand checking is at 4 PM, but I’m pretty sure even with the check number you would’ve known if we would’ve checked in early

The Happy Place Cabin was amazing! It was just me and my 7 year old son but the cabin can sleep 7 easily and comfortably, 2 bedrooms and 3 beds plus a pull out sofa, huge TV in the living room, a great little game room with some fun board games and cornhole, table tennis etc...plus an original Playstation with a fun MMA game, its 3 floors, the bedrooms on the top floor, the living room and dining room on the 2nd and the kitchen and game room on the lower floor, its decorated very nice, the outside has solar lights and private parking and has a nice little sitting area to hang out and listen to music and firepit if the season allows it, a very nice charcoal grill is avaliable to use which me and my son grillled steaks and burgers, oh and inside the living room there os a wood burning stove for heat which we didnt have the pleasure of using becuase we visited in the summer and it was nice and warm, the cabin also has mini split A/Cs in both bedrooms and the living room, the kitchen is stocked with all the cutlery, pots, pans, plates, bowls, microwave, stove, oven, fridge, coffe maker as well as complimentary coffee and sugars and creams, the bathroom has a nice shower/tub and is stocked with soaps, shampoos, conditioners, towels and washclothes. I have been coming to shaver lake for years and have stayed in probably 7 different cabins but the Happy place cabin is by the far the best place I have stayed, my son loved it here and the hosts were amazing, the cabin is perfect 5

Cute Festive Cabin

We stayed here over Thanksgiving break and enjoyed our time here. We loved the Xmas tree and all the decorations that made for a cozy festive feel. Very convenient and easy walk to the village. Kids loved the split level and the toys and games that were provided. Lucked out with some early snow so did lots of playing out in the yard. Had some trouble initially with heating but the host was very responsive and we got it figured out. This was our first trip to Shaver Lake and overall had a great time. Would love to stay here again. Thank you!

Awesome place, even better host!

This is the perfect spot, close enough to have access to groceries, far enough for peace and quiet. Very well equipped and cozy cabin. The communication with the host was quick and precise! My family enjoyed it!

Nice cabin

Very nice cabin. Clean and close to the shopping center. Close to the lake and great views. It’s summer time so it was hot inside but once you get the portable cooler going it’s all fine.

Location was on point for rental.

We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday with our family. The cabin was pretty much represented in the listing. I will be very honest in my review. Upon arriving we found medication sitting on a small bedside table along with some wrappers from gum. The overall cabin was very clean except for the medication. The first night the heat would not stay on the thermostat would go down to 62 every 30 minutes. We contacted representative of the cabin through this site the next day and they did something that allowed us to keep it up to 67. The second night was much better. Thank you for that! The kitchen was well equipped with pots and skillets. If you are planning to use the oven you might want to bring a few pans. There was only one small cookie sheet. The bedrooms are small but doable. The beds are not the most comfortable we ended using a air mattress that we brought the second night. The location is amazing. So close to shops and little market if you forget something. We walked the neighborhood and talked to some locals they were very friendly and welcoming. We were at camp Edison near the lake in less than 10 min. The guys biked and we sat by the lake while the kids played in the snow. Even with the few hiccups we loved our stay. Thank you.

Winter wonderland

We arrived and it was snowing and beautiful. I’m glad that it was close to town. The one thing I would like to comment on is the bedrooms. Because of the tilted roof it was pretty difficult to get in and out of bed. I don’t believe the cabin could have slept more than the four of us and we had planned on bringing more people. We still had a great time and would probably stay there again.

BEAUTIFUL CABIN

The Cabin was beautiful. It was so clean and love the Christmas Tree and all the Christmas decorations! The booking was so easy and they were very responsive and so nice. They had a complimentary bottle of wine for us when we arrived. The location was Perfect!!! Will definitely be booking this cabin again in the future. Thank you SO much!!!

Early Christmas Trip

Had a very nice weekend! Loved all of the Christmas decor and the flocked tree was beautiful!!! 😍 My boys loved the split level floor design and pass through from the kitchen. The short walk to town was nice too!

Cozy cabin in great location

Loved the stay here. The cabin was really nice and the stay was amazing. The only issue with this place was that it didn’t have a king-sized bed. Everything else was great.

Great stay at a cozy cabin

We stayed at this lovely cabin near Shaver Lake. Easy walk to restaurants. Short drive to China Peak. Clean and very welcoming. Communication with owner was easy, with a great attitude and fast responses. Would definitely stay there again. We stayed with two adults and our 4 kids (5-14). Everyone enjoyed themselves. Highly recommended.

Cozy little cabin in a central location in town. Lots of charm, nothing pretentious. Great get-a-way for a snow excursion: sledding, snowball fights & snowman. Close to family friendly restaurants and taverns. Very responsive property management.
