FOREST DUNES RESORT AMENITIES
The Forest Dunes Resort has so many options for the whole family or for a couple on a romantic vacation. As a guest at our suite you will be able to relax and enjoy your vacation fully with our array of water features and guest amenities.

*There will be a $50 charge each for lost or damaged wristbands.

Excellent stay

The only issue was only one elevator was working. So anytime coming and going might take a little while longer. Loved the area and the room was nice. Definitely would stay again

Tournament weekend

Property is at a great location if you want a more family environment away from the strip scene! Only negative is that property could use some updating including popcorn ceiling that is falling off. Put a rush on the second elevator!

Short vacation stay

We enjoyed our stay in the condo. The condo could use some updates with the kitchen appliances and patio furniture. Lots of rust in those areas. The staff was wonderful and helpful. This place was ideal because the beach was across the street and my activities were minutes away.

Horrible Experience

When we arrived at the property for check-in at the correct time, no one was at the front desk. It took 45 minutes for someone to arrive to check a long line of people in. When we finally arrived to our room, after a long drive, a strong, nauseating chemical smell permeated the room. We started getting headaches. No one was at the front desk again to help us. We ended up booking another hotel, not knowing what to do. Upon finally being able to contact Forest Dunes and VRBO, no one was able to rectify this situation. I will never book through VRBO again. And I do not recommend Forest Dunes.

Run Down

The unit was fine and I wouldn’t call it dirty but it was incredibly run down. Huge chunks of the popcorn ceiling had come down. The control for the shower had clearly been pulled out, glued back in and was falling off again. The electrical outlets in the bathroom were so loose you couldn’t plug anything in and the dishwasher rack fell off the tracks every time you pulled it out to load.

If this property had a voice it would scream I IN AN ABUSED situation.

Absolutely, no maintenance is being done (or has been for decades?), all the cabinets barely have a finish left on them, some of the carpet looks like it might be original, you can’t open the slider (it’s rusted in place) , there’s one shower you have….,turning on the valve is tricky it’s barely attached to the shower wall and you can see where they tried to cement it to the tub wall. Tho, you will pay an absurdly high price it’s a dive. By the way you get to pay 10. Per day, per vehicle. It’s a money grab. Look somewhere else you’ll be thankful

Our home away from home!

This is our second visit and this rooms view was beautiful! Steps from the beach witch is a plus with 3 kids.!! Floor was a bit slippery when we arrived but think it was due to sun screen from previous renter. We had the power go out for just a few minutes on the second day. Noticed this day the dishwasher in this room either didn’t work or maybe the power going out was to blame . No worries got dawn and washed dish’s by hand. Same person checked us in this time as last visit and was equally wonderful to work with. We will be back again!! This time longer than a weekend! Thank you so much!

The unit and building are "tired" and need updating

The unit was OK, clean but looked worn. The draw on the bottom of the stove as broken, rusted shower curtain rod in bath, plumbing fixtures that were loose, etc. The biggest problem was only one working elevator in a 19-story building meant a lot of time waiting for an elevator (unit was on the 9th floor)

Pleasant but complicated

Loved the area and view, housekeeping left a crab broil bag in the microwave that had been in there for days, one elevator for 18 floors and made checkout hell, and waiting on a cart to load luggage, parking garage is a far walk and one way in and out, garbage is on the backside of garage and not convenient. Overall the room was convenient and pleasant for our trip with just a walk to get to the beach.

Great view and location.

It’s a good place to be. We had a good location and ocean view. Staff friendly and kindly. The apartment was great, we had everything. Just the cleaning I didn’t like, I felt that someone just got out…

Unit needed a lot of repairs

Home had several maintenance issues including peeling and chipped paint. Cracked vanity countertop, loose plumbing fixtures in the bathroom, dirty walls throughout, minimal cookware, and a broken lamp shade. The refrigerator as well as the balcony sliding door are very hard to open.

Perfect location with a view

The location was absolutely perfect, view was gorgeous. Away from all the commotion but just a short drive to so many attractions. Umbrella and chair rentals available. We enjoyed the pool almost as much as the beach.

Residential Area

The condo was mostly clean. There were a few stains on the sofa. The bathroom sink had a surface crack on it (but not leaking). The shower faucet was difficult to handle - felt like it was going to break at any moment. We struggled to keep it off and not dripping. The bottom of the oven/drawer was off when we entered. As well as one of the kitchen drawers. The tv in the bedroom didn't work and the tv in the main room only has internet channels (i.e. we couldn't watch the news/sports). It would have been helpful if there were instructions on how to work the remote controls. Overall, it was a nice, quiet, clean, and safe unit. Easy walk to the beach - but if you want to go anywhere else, you need to drive.

Vacation rental

Check-in / check-out process extremely easy . Overall, rental accommodations were nice and locally situated amongst the attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Enjoyed our stay.

Excellent!

The online booking process was very easy. When checking in, the front desk and staff was very nice and helpful. Our condo room was very clean, but just make sure you check the bed sheets before you decide to sleep in them. We found some dirty sheets on the sofa couch, but other than that everything else was perfect. The view is amazing and a very short walk to the beach. You can walk to restaurants or beach stores without a problem. I would definitely stay again!
