We had a great stay in Denver. Our group of 6 adults, one 3yr old and small dog had loads of space. We appreciated the large fenced yard and the park across the road. The host was very responsive to questions. And even cleared snow from the path upon our arrival. Would stay again.

Great for large group great location

Came in for a long weekend for a graduation! The owners were very flexible and allowed us to enter the property earlier than scheduled. We had the pleasure of meeting them as they were at the property checking on a couple of things to make sure we would be all set. The house is very spacious and as advertised. Right across from the park and close to restaurants, bars and shopping! This was a great find!

Birthday Weekend

Stay was great, location was close to downtown Denver and neighborhoods all around. Communication with owner was great and accommodating for extra requests. The price for the cleanliness and amount of space was great and the basement area and arcade room were a great touch. Would definitely stay in this rental again if in the area.

Big house in great neighborhood

House was wonderful for our group. Big kitchen and lots of sitting areas to hang out together. Many separate bedrooms with comfy beds. The host was very communicative and helpful. The weather kept us inside (watching football on the huge TV) more than we had planned, but the neighborhood was beautiful and close to lots of restaurants. Lots of parking. We would return.

Great Gathering House

Friends and family came from Europe and all across US for our daughter’s wedding in Denver. Twelve of us stayed at the house: 4 children ages 2 to 9 and 8 adults from 30 to 78. It was a great reunion of friends and family and the house helped make it so. CONS: No significant ones that I can think of PROS: * VRBO description is accurate *clean and spacious kitchen (well stocked with dishes and cooking items) and comfortable family living area that was great for gathering with family and friends * large terrace and fenced back yard—also great for entertaining but really nice for kids to go out and play. Plus there is a lovely park directly across the street with a playground. * easy on the street parking in front of house. Approximately 2 mile drive to Whole Foods and King Sooper groceries. * Justin was very responsive. We couldn’t find the port a crib when we arrived. Texted Justin and he had it to us within a couple of hours. * kids AND adults loved the Ms Pac-Man video * would definitely stay again for a family function.

Fabulous!

This is a wonderful, spacious, clean home. The beds are soft and have lots of covers. There are lots of towels. The kitchen has lots of pans. The living area is much larger than it appears in the photos. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Justin!

Fantastic home, highly recommend!

We had a family reunion in Denver and stayed at this home. It was PERFECT for our stay: wonderful home on a really cool location of Denver with a lot of great shops and restaurants nearby. The owners were really fantastic and helpful as well. Perfect for a large group!

Great property, good location for families.

Owner was very accommodating. Clean with lots of room for the family to spread out. Plenty of room in the common areas to comfortably fit larger groups! Kids enjoyed the fire pit and s’mores.

A little tired beneath the surface….

Nice location, large space. Just little things….shower drips and smells moldy. Master tub leaked into kitchen when drained, and it appears this has been a problem in the past. Dust under beds. Towels were hung up but still damp when we arrived ( just washed and not fully dried?) and a load of towels were in the dryer, dirty towel left hanging in the small downstairs bedroom, front yard was weeds, some decor was…eclectic. One hair dryer in the basement, basement not very useable. The arcade machine was a fun diversion.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this house is an 11.

This is a large old house that has been immaculately restored to the highest standards of quality and taste. It has a surprisingly large number of private bedrooms, a very large central living room, a number of different sitting areas, all of which are attractive for reading or conversation, large windows and doorways to the patio, yard, and firepit area, and a spectacular central staircase in the old-world style. It is on a quiet street, but close to the junction of Federal and Speer, so makes for quick and easy access to pretty much everything. It proved to be a real find for us, and perfect for our 4-day weekend event, with family in from California and back east.

Marvelous Mini Mansion Stay!

Wedding weekend

This was a great place for several of us to stay while in town for a family wedding. There is enough restaurants and shopping within walking distance to keep the group entertained and everyone could come and go as they wanted. Very convenient.

Mini-Mansion splendor

Our family stayed at the mini-mansion for our daughter's weddine. The house was perfect and accomodated us beautifully. Our host, Justin was fabulous. He tended to our every need! I would recommend this to anyone with a large group. We loved our stay!!!

Amazing Property

Family came into town for a wedding. This place is THE perfect location. Nearby all the attractions. Great park across the street. Plenty of room. The central area was awesome for gathering for meals and hangouts. Justin was super communicative and accommodating. The best host! I would recommend this place 100 times. Must stay.

Perfect for My Bachelor Party

My friends / family and I met up at the mini mansion, from across the country, for my bachelor party. And I have to say, this place was perfect for us. It comfortably accommodated 12 of us, and it was in a great central location for the plans we set up over the weekend. We even played some basketball across the street at the park! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and I would absolutely look to stay here again in the future. Thank you for hosting us!!!

I am a Colorado native who grew up in Boulder. I purchased my first property in Denver in the Capital hill area but after spending time in the Highlands Neighborhood I knew that's where I wanted to be. Shortly after I purchased this house my son, Ethan , was born. He has been raised and educated in the Highlands district.

I enjoy hiking, camping, moto cross, water skiing, skiing and climbing 14ers.

Originally I purchased this property in 2003. In 2010, I added a large addition and updated everything. I love the house and the location is fantastic. Everything you need is just up the street. It's across from a park with a historic library and it's within walking distance of lower downtown.

The neighborhood is great. It's very near to LoHi. Sloans Lake and the Berkley neighborhoods, nothing is too far away and is very centrally located. In a 15 minute drive, you could be on a hike in the mountains, or you can walk right down town.

The house and the property is larger than most homes in the neighborhood. The home has a very open concept, which is great for entertaining, but it also has has enough separation to take some space. The stone patio is a great place to hang out and the front porch overlooks the park.
