This townhouse was perfectly located 5 minutes from the airport with amazing views of the Tetons right outside the back door. We were 15 minutes from Jackson Hole and also close to Grand Teton National Park. Yellowstone was about 40 minutes from us. The location could not have been better! Our only suggestion would be king size beds and maybe a bunk room but otherwise it was cozy, comfortably furnished and a delight to stay in.

There should be a better description of the location of the property. We ended up trying to get into somebody else’s condo and was mad at the door by the person living there. The address was not sufficient. There should’ve been a description so that it was easier to find the residence.

My friends and I recently stayed for four nights at a VaCasa vacation rental in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The unit was advertised as three bedrooms with three baths. Based on the price and location, we expected a quality unit. We were very disappointed. Our overall impression was the unit has not been upgraded since the 1960s. The furniture looked like it had been obtained from garage sales. There were two bedrooms upstairs with one master bath in between. The second bathroom was a shower in the small laundry room on the main floor next to the garage. The third bedroom/bath was downstairs in the basement. The living room is cluttered with ”decorator” pieces that appeared to have been collected from garage sales. The overstuffed sofa and matching chair take up much of the usable space without adding any comfort or convenient sitting area. The recliner is a broken down piece from a garage sale cast-off. The dining area is overcrowded with an old wooden table too large for the space. The table is surrounded by a collection of mismatched wooden chairs that are difficult to move when one is trying to sit. The hutch at the end of the dining area is impossible to reach without a major furniture removal. The kitchen is adequate but old. The countertop appliances are very cheap. None of the bathroom rooms are ADA compliant. They do not have the necessary grab bars for entry/exit from the bathtub/shower facilities. The master bathroom bathtub with sliding glass doors is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The sauna did not turn on, nor were there operating instructions available. Both staircases have treads that are exceptionally narrow. I question if they comply with local building codes. A normal man's foot covers more than half the step. Additionally, the stairs are exceptionally steep and the handrails difficult to grasp. This unit is not senior friendly. The third bedroom and bath are in the basement down a very steep set of stairs with the same narrow treads. There is no access to the outside from the basement other than the interior staircase. In the event of a fire, the occupant would be trapped. That would be especially true in the case of a senior. The garage door did not work. The light in the garage would not turn off. The single car garage has a load of junk in the back that would make parking are large SUV impossible, even if we could have gotten the garage door open. The road within the condo complex was dirt and full of potholes. If there is an HOA and I was an owner, I would sue for lack of performance. For all the various pages of rules and regulations scattered about the place concerning occupation of the unit, one would believe they were staying in a five star resort. To the contrary, our overall impression was that of a seedy roadside motel built on a two-lane highway in the 1960s. Caveat emptor.

Great location

This home has 3 bedrooms and has a good view of the Tetons from the back deck. The bathrooms are well stocked with towels, soap, lotion, body wash and shampoo/conditioner. It has 2 public living areas - one on the main floor and one in the basement, which stays nice and cool in the summer.

Amazing view — dated townhome

The house is situated so that the back of the house looks at the Tetons perfectly. From there, things aren’t as good: the house hasn’t been updated since it was built except when something was broken. And having to use Vacasa is a deterrent as well because they don’t want to go through vrbo and they don’t check text messages that you send them. I would not recommend renting this house out.
