Great property

Great place to stay the property was clean and comfortable. The only issue was that you can hear some road noise from I-45 but you got used to it pretty quick.

A great get-away!

We have stayed at this property a few times now and we enjoy it! It was such a home like feel over our Christmas holiday stay. Hopefully will continue to stay here when we are visiting family near by!

Great Getaway

Very nice stay for 10 adults. Enjoyed the property, especially outdoors. Lots of room to roam and enjoy the weather or just relax by the firepit.

Lovely, comfortable cabin

The cute cabin is so cozy! It is decorated so cute and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable,. Overall was just a great place. Nearby Fairfield is cute little town. Would highly recommend staying here.

Loved our stay!

We had a delightful stay at this property. My sister lives nearby so it was nice to be close but also to have our own space for down time. The living room was wonderful for playing games at night and the kitchen and outdoor grill were just right for our family. :) Bathrooms were NICE!

Clean, comfortable and cute cabin!

This is our second time staying in this cute cabin. It is very clean, nicely decorated, and beds are all very comfortable. Location is quiet and easy to access. All the necessities are provided. Host was very helpful and accommodating. We look forward to staying again.

Wonderful Stay

We absolutely LOVED this property. The house was spotless and very well appointed. The house was beautifully decorated with special touches in every corner, and even had Christmas decorations out! My boys loved exploring the property and sitting by the fire each day. Great place to stay for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this property!

Work Trip

We had work in Corsicana! Place was perfect to come back to after a long day. Very clean and a great outdoor area to hang out and bbq! Also a lot of wildilife to see in the front and back yard. I would recommend to anyone!

Perfect Place to stay when our son got married!

We rented during our sons wedding in Fairfield. It is a beautiful home and property. Well kept and clean. Host left us snacks drinks and communication was great. We will definitely be back when we can just relax and enjoy this amazing property. Highly recommend if you are needing a place to stay in Freestone county area.

Picturesque!

Right off the interstate but a world away!! The hounds and the house are just beautiful!! Sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and looking out over the pond was the perfect way to start our day!! This house is well appointed, upscale furnishings and linens and would be a perfect replace for couples or families.

Repeat customer!

The fact that we have returned to this property for three years in a row says it all! It is very clean and very comfortable. The host is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We visit Streetman every year for work and this is our home away from home. This year we had an opportunity to enjoy the fire pit and the peaceful outdoor location. This property would be perfect for anyone looking to escape the city for a bit.

Family Time

The property was awesome. It was close to a highway but we never heard a thing. It's remote and no other houses that we could see. Only cows over the back fence and our grands loved seeing those. It was wooded and we enjoyed the fishing and the pond. It was so much fun and we made memories to share.

Wedding Weekend

My husband and I rented this house for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. It is close to the venue and a better selection than a hotel for a group of ladies. We had the hair and makeup artist just meet the bridal party there. IT WAS PERFECT!! The house was super clean and there was plenty of space for the girls to eat, relax and get ready for the wedding. The owners were also willing to work with our schedule which made it an even more perfect place!! Definitely recommend to anyone looking!!

Peaceful Peaceful/ Much needed get away

We arrived to the cabin on a Friday… From checking in to us getting settling in was a breeze. The host was always available for any questions that we had. Our family had a blast at this property it was very relaxing. We cooked they had everything you needed in the kitchen to cook with. They had plenty of towels and throw blankets just in case you forgot you own. It was plenty of seating and more than enough sleeping room for our family. And to put the icing on the cake we stayed for the Labor Day weekend so it rained that Sunday evening and we where able to sit on the front porch and feel the cool breeze. But all in all it was a wonderful stay plenty of rest and relaxation and I will be booking again for my daughter’s bridal getaway weekend… Book you will not be disappointed Sharon🌸

Cousins Retreat!

We had an adult cousins retreat at this Fairfield property. Beautiful, cozy home, fully furnished, and recently updated kitchen and bathrooms. Perfect getaway in all seasons. We were there in the summer and spent time outdoors. The lake adds a stunning setting. We noticed the large fireplace to add heat and ambiance for winter months. There were three couples and we each had a bedroom. En-suite bath downstairs and shared bath upstairs. Very large inviting shower! Very clean property with fully furnished kitchen. We found everything we needed. Owner was very responsive before, after and during our stay. Answered all questions. Great location along I-45. Scheduled our retreat around dinner seatings at the nearby Leona General Store. Breakfast at the long standing Sam’s Restaurant. Would definitely book this property again!

The Perfect Place!

I will start with, we will be back! It was such a lovely place! The decor was rustic and we truly felt welcomed! ! It has everything you could think of (or forgot to pack)! Beds, so comfortable! Very clean and spacious! A few of my favorite moments was having the family sit outside on the long table eating our thanksgiving dinner & then as the sun started to go down, we all decided to play hide and seek outside! So many beautiful trees to hide behind! We all laughed until our sides hurt. Niccole, the owner, was also so attentive and kind! We were going to celebrate Thanksgiving of course but also to just be together because my baby has joined the Marines and leaves for boot camp in Jan. I know our holidays will be changing so wanted just family time and when we arrived she had a little something for me and it was so thoughtful! It was the perfect place and I’ll cherish these memories forever! ❤️

Beautiful getaway from the city♥️

My family of 7 and I really loved this cozy little cabin! The pictures don’t do this place justice, it is much more beautiful in person. It’s only about 2 1/2 hour drive from Houston if you’re looking to getaway from all the noise from the city, this is it. Although it was located fairly close to I-45, with the amount of trees surrounding the cabin, you could barely hear any noise from cars driving by. Make sure you bring your fishing poles so you can catch and release in the pond located right outside the cabin. (especially fun for the little ones). Everything was very clean and cozy, my older nephew rode his bike while my daughter and younger nephew fished. We roasted marshmallows and watched a movie to end the night. The only thing I would suggest is if the cabin could have Toiletry such as shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Other than that, everything else is perfect. We did have a small issue after checking out, but Niccole was always very fast at responding to my messages that we were able to work it out, and I thank you for that Niccole! We will definitely stay here again🌼

Lovely stay!

A lovely clean cabin that was perfectly set up for us and our baby son. It's a little close to I-45 but the acreage is beautiful! Would like to come back in the Autumn as there were nice outdoor areas for BBQing and al fresco dining.

Beautiful home with everything you could possibly want in a rental. Great kitchen with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots, pans and cooking accessories. Bedrooms are roomy with very comfortable beds, top quality linens. Bathrooms are updated and roomy as well. The outside area is spacious and welcoming. There is a good amount of noise outside from the highway, but it's so lovely out there the noise goes away. Super responsive owner. Great communicator. We had no problems at all and would definitely go back if in the area.
