Not what we thought

At a $180 a night the expectation is somewhat high and definitely was not met. Stained and broken furniture in the front room and dinning room Torn blankets in the master room. Almost nothing to cook a meal with in the kitchen. What was there was clearly old discarded items that was no longer wanted for themselves. There was one dish towel and no others in a drawer. For a 3 night stay and a Thanksgiving dinner…1dish towel. There was a can of ant and roach spray under the sink…not what you want to see as a renter. It was disappointing but we made it work.

Review

We stayed here for a weekend and upon arrival we noticed the house was very hot as the thermostat was set on 75. We figured they had just set it to that cause nobody had been there so we turned it down to a cooler temperature and went on about our day. We came back from a day of shopping to notice that the thermostat had again been turned back up. We fought this the whole weekend. We would turn the thermostat down and the owner would continue to turn it back up our entire stay. Then there was rat poop on the comforter of one of the beds. We didn’t make a fuss over it just rewashed the sheets. We also noticed they only gave us one trash bag to last a whole weekend, there were not enough towels as there were 6 of us staying there so we had to wash those every night. Then the shower in the master bath has no hot water so we took cold showers all weekend. We also noticed that they came to the house while we were gone for the day which we did not like at all. For what we paid to stay here we think our stay definitely could’ve been better.

Hot springs rocks

Overall was nice. Quiet neighborhood and comfortable beds. We stayed 2 nights. Could use a regular coffee pot and bigger towels. Couldn't find trash bags. Better toilet paper than i buy so thats a plus. Sectional is great and tv was a good picture for sure! The back yard was unkept and not much privacy from neighbors but it wasn't an issue for us. Overall it was good.

Hot Springs weekend getaway

The property is in a great location, quite neighborhood, ample parking. Beds, couch and other furnishings are comfortable. Having read previous reviews we were aware of the towel shortage and brought extra towels from home. Otherwise 6 adults would have had 6 towels and 6 wash clothes for a 3 night stay. Only one extra blanket in the house that was in rough shape. If you plan on cooking there, come prepared for that as well. One dish towel, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 trash bag, 2 coffee pods. Either way, we enjoyed our trip and would stay again, knowing now what things we need to bring along for the trip.

Amazing!

We have stayed in Hot Springs before but this was my favorite place so far! The house was everything pictured and more! The house is so centrally located and so close to everything! The neighborhood is quiet and quaint! THE HOST WAS AMAZING! Anytime I needed anything she was quick to respond and went above and beyond to accommodate us (even when we are idiots and locked ourselves out) lol! When we go back I hope this house is available again because we will definitely want it again! Thank you for a wonderful weekend in your wonderful home ❤️

Somewhat Misleading

The pictures online were misleading. Quiet neighborhood other than the traffic from the divided highway through Hot Springs. One trash bag for our 3 night stay. Not enough towels, washcloths, or kitchen towels. I had to do laundry each night so we would have clean towels for the next day. Luckily I brought detergent from home. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a fenced in back yard for the dogs.

Good central location

The house is centrally located from a lot of the sites in a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated being able to use the garage for our mid-sized suv and loved having the large sectional in the living room. We had great communication with the owner and they addressed any issues quickly. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

The stay was incredible and memorable. Beautiful modern style home with amazing decore and updated appliances and big high resolution tvs. Nice location with a spacious backyard and porch. All round one of the best places I've stayed so far.

Home away from home!

This property is in a great location and has lots of space with a fenced-in back yard! It's in a quiet neighborhood close to stores, the downtown area and many parks! My family and I enjoyed our stay!!!

Great location with plenty of space

This property was an older house with some updates. It had a huge backyard for the dog. Had plenty of space for the whole family. The shower in the main bedroom could have used some updating (it leaked when all the way off & had 2 sprayers which was weird). Overall location, space, & price were perfect for a family getaway!
