Small town good time. A little far from anything but, nice private cove. A lot of hiking trails, and waterfall treks.

Relaxing, quiet, fishing, exploring

Incredibly cute, quaint and cozy. The dock was very simple to get to, fun to fish from, the home was well maintained and incredibly private and peaceful. Lovely hot tub, beautiful views. Property owners are very responsive with any questions. 10/10 rating! Thank you for sharing your home!

Cute little place on Watauga Lake! Nothing fancy and meet our needs. Kids and adults both had a great time!

Quiet place

It was a quiet relaxing stay. The place needs some upgrades. The bathtub faucet leaked all night long, the outside trash was completely full, and the satellite dish wouldn't work. Im also not happy about a cleaning fee when i had to wash the linens myself. Everything else was great. Would probably stay again because of the peaceful atmosphere.

Weekend Review

The stay here was awesome. There were a few questions we had but the owners were very helpful and responsive. The cleaner came while we were there and was so nice and helpful for a couple details that were missed. Everyone did what they could to help do their part. The posting could be updated with a couple little details like that the fire pit is propane and that there is a dock that is included but there was nothing that was misleading. The stay was incredibly awesome. it was so incredibly beautiful and peaceful. I would love to come back. It was a perfect little get away and was a great experience. Would highly recommend this !

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

My husband and I booked this property for our anniversary getaway. It was very cozy, perfect for us two but definitely comfortable for 4 people as well. Great view and very quiet/peaceful.

Relaxing 3 night stay.

The location for us is perfect. We have stayed here before. The upgraded amenities are a nice touch. We were off hiking and exploring during the day, and had a nice place to relax and refresh in the evening.

Great little place especially for 2 . We enjoyed are 3 nights relaxing on the porch an in the hot tub . Nice view of the water an mountains which is are main reason for coming . Will definitely be back .

The Steps!

We totally enjoyed our stay We lost a day due to getting lost and unable to find key. I THIS cabins lake front was quite a climb. Next year I'll request a walk out porch on the shores of Watauga Lake! I fished for an hour in pouring rain and I was in my own lil heaven!! Until next year Regards Ron & Laurie Dunnebeck Michigan

Remote vacation with beautiful views

We loved our time at this cabin with its beautiful view of the lake! It was perfect for the 2 of us and we enjoyed sitting on the porch, in the hot tub, and down at the dock. Water pressure in the shower was great. It is definitely remote so it is best if you come prepared with groceries, the closest stores and restaurants are 20 minutes away. We had no service the entire trip but Wi-Fi was strong and honestly it was nice to detach from the world for a bit. Definitely recommend this cabin and the host was nice and quick to respond! We also recommend sky valley zip tours and paddleboarding at the cove ridge marina!

Stargazing, lightning storms and awesome views!

Lake Watauga is pristine. The listing of this place does not do it justice. We enjoyed the hot tube more than we thought we would. It is very quiet, and we only saw one neighbor. We hope to be back soon! A water filter device would have been a nice addition for some constructive feedback.

Most Beautiful Veiw

This was my first time renting in the mountains. We had a wonderful time. I love the little mountain cabin it was so cozy! My Son loved the going fishing there! I definitely plan on doing it over again !

Very remote area, close to nothing. Probably great in the warm weather but not for cool weather unless you just want to read a book all the time. And make sure to bring all your own food and beverages. Pretty clean but does need an electric broom or swifter or... I'm a country woman but it was way to boring for me.

Good for the soul.

My husband and I had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the many waterfalls in the high country of NC. Plenty of Antique shops to fill your day. Property was quaint and comfortable for the 2 of us. Unfortunately, it was too breezy to explore the lake. We will be back in the furture.

Amazing experience!

My boyfriend and I rented this adorably cozy cabin for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The view from the deck is immaculate, and the hot tub was wonderfully relaxing after a long day out of town. The proximity to Grandfather Mountain is why we originally picked this house, but we fell in love with it for every other reason possible. The host, Brett, was extremely helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the future, thank you Brett!

Such a lovely place!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin had everything we needed and was so cozy. And the views!!! The views are amazing! We especially enjoyed star gazing from the hot tub each night. Brett is a wonderful host and quick to communicate, if need be. We can’t wait to book another stay in warmer weather so we can enjoy the lake!

Great mountain getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Falcon Crest! It’s a beautiful location with breathtaking views. The hot tub in the snow was amazing! Loft is well suited for kids. We would definitely stay here again. Brett was great at communication and making sure our stay was a good one.

Close to home.

For us, this location was great. We have property near by but nothing on it yet. We were able to hike the mountain and do some planning. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after all the hiking.

Good cabin for that price! Not enough space for parking if you planning come with the boat. Hot tub was a bit dirty. But overall a good cabin!!!

Relaxing as Needed

We went for three days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. At first, we thought we were going to have to bring the kids, but our babysitter came through for us. It was a wonderful 3 days of relaxation and beautiful scenery! The kitchen at this place is well-appointed. It had everything to cook all your meals. We used the stove very little and cooked all our dinners on the grill that's located on the huge deck that looks out over the water. Wi-Fi was always connected, though cell service is sketchy. (We didn't mind.) The only coffee maker is a Keurig, and I was disturbed. But then I found the K-cups in the fridge! Yes! Very easy to contact host, though we didn't really need to. You even have use of canoes down by the dock, though we didn't take them out. I recommend this place as a getaway for two for sure!
