The room was exactly as pictured, resort was nice and staff super friendly. Overall we had a great time, and the value was good for the cost, but I have 2 complaints, one being the property manager was not responsive to my messages ahead of the reservation. I had to spend 45 mins on hold with VRBO to get through to them. When I checked in at the resort, they said they didn't have a record of my reservation, so I had to message the property manager again. Luckily they were finally responding at this point since VRBO got in touch with them, but it just reiterates my point that they should be responsive in the first place bc issues arise sometimes. Also, I didn't notice in the pictures but the bed is framed by a 8 in wood border, which makes getting in and out of the bed awkward and led to multiple shin bruises for my family and I when climbing into bed, and definitely not safe for small children.

Cozy place with beautiful views.

Contact with the property manager was so easy and she responded quickly each time. The place was equipped with basic necessities to cook brunch each morning which we appreciated. Nice fridge with plenty of space as well. There was a view of the ocean which was beautiful to wake up to but unfortunately it was overcast during most of our stay. The heated pool on the property was nice as well and access to the beach which was convenient. Would definitely Stay again.

NO RESPONSE FROM HOST

Stayed June 2023 for 5 nights. LIked the property but disliked the unit we had. VERY run down and dirty in need of repair. Wrote to owner SEVERAL times along with voice messages left and no response. TERRIBLE!

Over rated room for price

Was not the room we got family discount for. It was half the size. Multiple light bulbs out. Toilet only had one side attached to floor. Tub had a crack in it. Missing door at toilet from main portion of the bathroom. Hardware was still in place. Bathroom main door paint was soiled up and down the side by handle. Had a clock radio but no power cord. Tv didn’t work first night and the other night had issues connecting to Internet. Wood rot on the deck. Low quality Sheetrock patches. Very worn out room with low quality repairs

Nice get away, not as crowded as other places, price was right

When we arrived, there was no screen doors on lanai so could not have door open because birds and insects would come in. Bathroom light switch was broken and could not turn light off so unscrewed bulb when turned out light. Two of the 3 bathroom lights were burned out also. Contacted property manager about it but no action was taken before we left.

Top Location and the view

The location and property is awsome. We stayed at the 6th floor and the view is amazing. Little kitchen has everything to offer. Walk to black rock is about 6-10min. The property area is less crowded than the black Rock side and much better in my opinion. Safeway 5min via car (try the POKE there, better and cheaper than any restaurant). The pool is perfect for Adults and kids. Amazing beach, snorkeling and swimming right in front. Bar and restaurant is OK including high Hawaiian prices. Fresh beach towels everyday at front desk. Negative, we just got fresh room towels once and tennis courts belong to other property. They have 2-3 BBq areas. Parking is perfect.

Great location

We had a great stay at this property. The location was perfect . The beach is beautiful and was not overly crowded. Check in was easy and when we arrived the unit was clean. The property also has morning coffee and beach towels. The main drawback is the beds are not that comfortable and the sheets do not fit properly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location, room just okay

The property itself is fantastic and we enjoy it very much. Upon entering we thought the room depicted very well what was advertised and we were initially pleased. Nice view from the lanai. But after we were there for a bit we did notice several things that left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. It was not very clean when we arrived which I found to be surprising and disappointing, the floors were filthy as well as the bathroom. Nothing like cleaning a room after a long day of traveling. The fitted sheets on the bed were a poor fit and we woke up every night entangled in them. The shower head was more of a novelty. Several drawers in the bathroom did not work. No art work on the walls, just screws sticking out. The ice maker did not work which was disappointing and the curtains on the slider out to the lanai were a bit nasty.

It was our first time in Maui and the view from the room was perfect. I still wake up and wish I was there. The staff was extremely friendly and the proximity to the beach was perfect
