Not what we expected!

Although the place was clean, we were very surprised that sheets, pillowcases and towels were not included. We thought these were standard amenities. There was no shower mat in the bathroom. The floor and shower were very slippery. The cost to rent sheets and pillowcases in towels would’ve cost us for one night $70 and had to pay cash plus a cash deposit. We were glad that 2 of us brought one towel And only had to pay for the sheets. They didn’t even match. Not sure how many people travel Internationally, carrying sheets, pillowcases, and towels in their suitcase. The bakery at the end of the street was nice. This was such a different experience then the 5 previous stays on this vacation.

Je ne comprends pas votre appréciation car vous avez passé 2 jours chez moi et non… en plus les draps, serviettes et tapis de douche étaient inclus sans supplément (et même le gel douche et shampoing !). et dernière chose que nous n'avons pris ou demandé de caution en espèces….pour rappel voici votre message à votre départ : Merci beaucoup ! Cela a été le meilleur endroit où nous ayons séjourné ! Votre maison est belle et reposante !

Completely misrepresented property, not a true rental!

The photos shown of home in the listing we're not the same as when we enter the home. Most noticeably was that there was not a single closet in the entire three bedroom home including the new closet in the living room, were filled with all personal belongings of the resident owners. The refrigerator we were told to use was in the laundry room which still had personal food of the resident owners in the freezer and in the refrigerator. Toy boxes in the living room, one piece of outdoor furniture shown in the original listing was now sitting in the living room, the beds look like they were just left from the owners as the owner did state when we questioned him about this that it is their personal home they just left. They just moved out but left everything exactly as it was when they lived in it. If I wanted to have a rental with relatives I would go to relatives that I knew not strangers, with beds that looked slept in! When we call the owner of the rental he sent his wife or someone over to the house, they explained they would give us a full refund but then they gave us a very difficult time to do the refund on VRBO. Thankfully I stayed on the phone with a representative in America while they had to call their local French VRBO person to cancel and give us a refund. Prior to doing that my partner who is French overheard them statejust pretend we made the refund and they will leave. They were very dishonest should not have rental properties on VRBO or any other site.

Séjour en famille

La maison est très agréable, confortable et propre. Le quartier est très calme. L'hôte est disponible et joignable facilement. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Escale près d'Arcachon tout confort.

Nous avons passé deux jours en famille : 4 enfants et deux adultes. La maison est spécieuse et confortable pour tous, elle est très propre et bien équipée (cuisine, jeux, télé, clim, bbq). Literie et linge de maison de très bonne qualité. Maison très bien située pour visiter le secteur. Enfin, l'hôte est toujours disponible. Nous y reviendrions avec plaisir.
