Aspectos positivos: Comunicación y ubicación
Pros: The location was good, in that it was around 20 mins to walk into old Quebec. There are lots of places to go out directly on the street, and a great grocery right at the end of the block which was super handy. That being said, there are a lot of unsavoury characters that hang around directly outside at all times, so I wouldn’t be walking alone. Cons: The apartment itself needs some attention. The locking mechanism on the main door is held on by tape (?) The bedding/linen was clean, but there is mold in the bathroom, hairs everywhere when you move anything, grime built up in corners... The A/C is only available seasonally, and bedroom windows don’t open (only 1/4 windows in the apt has a working mechanism) so it made for some uncomfortably stuffy nights. There is damage to the walls, floor, couch (several cigarette burns) The bed is very uncomfortable (think very, very hard, with a sharp wooden frame that you have to be super mindful of when moving or your knees will be bruised), and the pullout couch is best left as a couch, not a bed. All in all, it has potential to be an ok spot, but the owner needs to spend some time and TLC getting it there. I wouldn’t book again.
